The angle of the approach is just too steep and short for the truck. It does the same thing at the race track on a particular jump with similar geometry. Other jumps, it behaves fine. The Astute is an awesome buggy by the way!!! Thanks for the comment!
This reminds me of my Tamiya TD2 Super astute, even though that there is little to no weight at the nose of the car it still likes to nosedive!

Your jump is to short. It’s the track. The front wheels are in the air while the rear are compressing
Exactly what I concluded. I can fix my jump, but unfortunately not the one where I race!
You are getting off the gas. Keep the trigger where it is at the start of the jump or add gas. You are backing off and that is way it’s nose diving.
