Yes, I vividly remember this watergun as a kid. The handgun was very heavy and had a penchant for leaking all over your hand. The rifle was better sealed, carried easier, but hardly shot any better than the handgun, though priming it was fun. I will never forget that the reason I wanted the rifle was because it very vaguely looked like Snake Plissken's Coreburner Assault Rifle from Escape From L.A.
I remember the commercial for this, but don't remember seeing one in stores. I had the CPS 2500, I think (second biggest one). I think interesting things could possibly be done with this.
I frequently got in trouble in Super Soaker fights for using the Hydro Shooter Rifle variant, as the water would hit with enough pressure to actually leave a mark. I *loved* close quarters.
It hurts my soul that this is considered vintage. I had one when I was a kid. Pretty sure the catch broke on it. If i was willing to do some deep diving, I bet its still in a box around here somewhere. So cool to see you doing a video on it. I had a rush of nostalgia when I saw the thumbnail. I had a lot of water guns when I was younger, but I wore this one out.
WalcomS7 did you ever get the speedload 6 to shoot elite ranges, if so plz do the build guide because i love the thing and i just want it better in the performance catogory everything else is fine.

I had one of these and when the seals were good, it shot a huge amount of water. I was the envy of all at the annual Boy Scout Camp water gun fight. It was a Walmart exclusive and kids with super soakers didn't know that they were in for. For sure, when you got hit with the water it felt like you were hit with a shotgun of water.

I just realized how much the internals look like an xbz tank, it probably is to big, but could an xbz tank fit inside it? And make it still shoot water, lol.
Plus, why make it shoot darts when you have the dartfire? Aka the snapfire 8, but with 3 less darts, a 2 finger trigger and minus the whole speed/power dial thing

An oddity you should try to get your hands on in the Johnny Seven OMA, a 1960's seven-in-one modular blaster, if it can be called that.
i had one of these when i was little and i loved it.
If you could get a drain blaster of a titan in that shell, you would have something unique and powerful on the battlefield.
