The Skewer is definitely a nice blaster.

The range footage looked great! I think the camera angle you had for the 50ft shots was a little better as we could really see how the blaster functions.
I think that’s what I’m gonna end up going with. I have a few more ideas of ways to improve that position

It seems ok, but when you lose the ability to front prime you can't really stay in an aiming stance.
That is a negative about this blaster however it’s more of a run and gun blaster as opposed to a “sniper”. I ran one with a shield with a rope attached to my gear, allowing me to run my skewer with one hand.
