Hey, good video. I guess because of black friday I got my z fold 6 256g for 399.99 plus tax. Could not pass it up. Watching videos and learning, very satisfied.
Give me Samsung any day. One Plus has TERRIBLE customer support, bad trade in values , and there are a LOT of people who both the One Plus Open who was sorry later. The screens were cracking for no reason, and the hinge was failing. They sent their phone in for repair only to not get it back for 4-5 weeks. Who wants that? But all anyone wants to take about to put them in from the theZ- Fold is the front cover. I even heard one reviewer say that the front cover needs to be like the one on the S24 Ultra. Really?? that is so stupid because once you do that..then the inside cover has to become bigger and when that happens...you have a tablet not a smartphone. The S24 ultra screen cover is 6.8. Come on no one want s a foldable with a front screen that big. If that's the case keep the slab phone.
So only you are allowed to have a preferences? Samsung customer service is only great\ok in certain parts of some countries. I've heard a lot of those same horror stories on the Samsung side as well. As for what someone else prefers what's wrong with wanting a regular size phone that turns into a tablet? That's the dream for me that's why I have a OnePlus open and stop purchasing Samsung folds it meets all my needs and preferences. That narrow front display was a nightmare to type on I hate the idea that the inside display was the main display. I wanted a great smartphone that unfolds into a decent tablet for when I can slow down and enjoy it.
You are correct. I have a Samsung experience store. 35 minutes away from me in the city of Glendale, so I can easily do go there. Have them run tests on my phone. There were a parrot right on the spot. Uninstall, a new inner screen protector and that's what makes Samsung's customer service Decent, because you have official store nearby or places that they work with so your phone can get repaired and you don't need to wait that long to get your phone back
I agree and I don't agree. I switched from folds to OnePlus because all my folds had broken down the middle and I wanted a larger outer screen. I did enjoy the screen, and the fast charging, but them the OP broke down the middle. Two weeks at the repair centre and they wiped it clean. No thank you. It's going on eBay and I have a Fold 6 coming on Monday. Other brands may have the edge on hardware, but for software, after sales and warranty repairs, it's Samsung hands down.
I don't know if it's perfect... but in the US, there's no other options besides Pixel Fold 2 and OnePlus Open. But like you said, pricing is ridiculous for foldables and the Samsung trade-in is very good.
Paid less than 800.00 for mine with the FREE storage upgrade after trade in of my S24 Ultra. I got the 512GB for the price of a 256GB. A 1,900.00 phone for under 800..that was a NO brainer. Samsung has the absolute BEST trade in values PERIOD!!
Well the title of the video says it’s “almost perfect”. You can buy whatever folding phone you want in the US, online shopping has bridged the gap in that along time ago. However, when it comes to software, there are no other options that offer the versatility and customization (not just aesthetically but operationally) that One UI does. I almost went with One Plus but when I saw someone showing the UI and lack of customization I waited for the Fold 6. Hardware is nothing if the software isn’t there to take advantage of it.
@@jollyrancherchick Not really... @ulucio86 How is comparing a South Korean folding phone to Chinese Folding phones like comparing Apples to Oranges? They are smartphones, you make it sound like he's comparing a car to a smartphone. Yes it's true the Chinese Folding phones aren't available in the US. But that doesn't mean you give Samsung a pass on things like pricing the phone at $2,000 when the Chinese Folding phones are superior in hardware (not software) yet cost less than the Fold 6.
Also an FYI Chinese phones do work in the US on some carriers. I'm using a imported Vivo X Fold 3 Pro (Global version) on AT&T and have no issues with it. 5G and everything works great.
What's better than it?
@@carver9312 Hardware wise Honor Magic V3 / and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro which is what I am using. Software feature wise it's not as good as Samsungs Fold. But after a bit of getting used to, it pretty much does everything OneUI can do.
