I listen to it through my Adam a7x's while following along making the exact same preset on my fm3 except for one edit, the amp bass from 4 to 5 and came out with basically the exact same tone using my schecter c7 sls elite. I especially liked the fact you showed how to blend 2 Ir's.
My Axe 2 sounds amazing. and my axe 3 I can't get to sound good to save my life. I followed your steps and it really helped. It's been really frustrating. I can't get the fucker to chug!!!
If you have active pickups, make sure the battery is new In your guitar. Also try and go for high gain amps, but have the gain quite low (around 3 to 4) and smash the DI into the amp with volume. You can do this with either drive pedals and increasing the level knob or both. :)

Where's this downward expander? I don't have that in my gate options.
You can use a classic gate too man, It's just a noise gate so should do the same thing :)
