LYRICS
I won't let this ruin me.
My orchestra, my indecision: It all comes back full circle (from grace to all my hate).
I never meant to hurt anyone. I came for peace and for great reason.
There is no solace, there's no alleviation in all our money, or within her golden teeth.
Is this it? Is this how it goes? I am the wretched one, I am the beggar's hands.
It comes back full circle. I cannot help but feel nothing.
Pick it up.
Such a bitter friend, change can be.
Remind me God, refresh what's turned to grey.
Oh my intentions, you vanish with the wind.
Is this it? Is this how it goes? I am the wretched one, I am the harlot's bones.
It comes back full circle. I cannot help but care no more.
Is this it, is this how it goes? It all comes back full circle.
It comes back full circle. I cannot help but feel nothing.
All that you know... I am all that you know.
He had a vision as to what comes next, so disregard this unholy place.
Dead Throne will forever be an album that I will never get tired of!
Eric Sawada same dead throne is great

Their best! So solid with so much staying power. I can listen to it over and over for days
🙏
In my opinion Mike is the best lyricist of the genre. The dude is a genius when writing songs
"Chainsaw Brutality, Tornado Strength." Unless I'm mistaken, old Crabcore TDWP had terrible lyrics but catchy riffs and breakdowns.
@@Vinnay94 with all due respect the song you're referring to is from their very first album. For a lack of a better term they were just kids anywhere from 17-19 years old. With dead throne, 8:18, transit blues, the act and now the few eps and singles they've released since then. They have definitely grown more introspective than what they've shown in dear love.
@@sethsandoval4539 I'm not saying there newer stuff has terrible lyrics, only there old stuff. The thing is, I don't focus too much on lyrics but rather riffs, vocals and the way the lyrics are chained.
4 words....I love this band.
To choke upon
Fave lineup and fave album. Still holds up like crazy.
dude they are the kings of breakdowns
Nah dude august burns red is
Josue Cervantes you should check Breakdown of Sanity ;)
Sleeping giant..breakdown kings
Case in point, entire zombies ep
Parkway drive is..
That was beautiful
This is such a classic
Mike's screaming is an acquired taste. When I first tried to listen to TDWP, I hated their screamer so much. When I discovered Louder Than Thunder and realized their singer was great, I tolerated the screams to listen to the cleans.
After a while of listening to the music, you come to appreciate the passion and power and uniqueness the screams have, and they become as good to listen to as the cleans dude ^_^
he took a while for people to get used to but really hes just a hardcore vocalist in a metalcore band and when you think of it like that it makes way more sense
one of the best in the game for sure, also architects sam carter is an absolute god of vocals both clean and screeam
People may say that he has weird voice screams on this album, but I think it shows the emotion behind the songs a lot more. Mike has a very powerful voice that does this well.
In my opinion this was easily their best record.
Kyongsuk Ri it's amazing
It really is! Some people are saying their new one is the best... Not a chance.
@@drumsno well the fact that people are giving the new record that much respect just gives more props to TDWP.
This one and With roots above and branches below ❤️
The best album hands down but the Zombie EP is by far their best work.
I rank their albums; Zombie EP
Dead Throne
With Roots above
Plagues
Zombie
Dead Throne
With Roots
Plagues
Best metalcore band ever together with ABR
parkway drive?
+Alex B. process which was what
At the moment a strong argument can be made for Architects being the best metalcore band. Their last album was a masterpiece and the two singles they released for their new one are better.
What about UnderØath?
UnderØath are a little more on the metallic hardcore/screamo side of things, aren't they?
Back at this song in 2023. Yep still slaps!
Jeremy's voice is something else man. I really like his voice.
He sounds amazing live.. Just saying
***** He just doesn't try. Probably because he doesn't want to ruin his voice by pushing it so much. I mean it's evident when you watch live performances lol
+Jake Pinnick seen them about 6 months ago and he sounded great to me.
he wont let that ruin him :D
Dude it's amazing... Like unreal.... Prob only a few who could ever do it
Man.. I just can't stop listening to this song and watching this video..
I've been listening to TDWP since Dear Love. Every album since Plagues has taken some time for me to get used to, but in the end I've come to realize that they just keep getting better and better. Even when When Roots Above and Branches Below came out I was skeptical. But like I said, it just took me a little time to hear what they were trying to do and the image they were trying to portray before I could understand that they are maturing and putting out great music in each album. I agree that TDWP is nothing like it was back in 2006, and thank god for that! I LOVE Plagues, but I'm happy that they haven't bee trying to recreate that success every time they put a new song out, because then I never would have been able to hear great songs like "Mammoth," "Wapakalypse," 8:18," "Martyrs," and "War". In all honesty, I don't listen to much hardcore music anymore. But I'm ALWAYS watching and waiting for great bands like ABR, BMTH, ADTR, and TDWP to come out with new material.
I'm really looking forward to their new album. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be fucking sick. TDWP fan forever! Keep making great music, guys.
Justin Todd Sam dude! I have been listening to these guys since Plagues...I listened to EVERY album and fell in love with these guys...my favorite band since I could remember. I can't wait to see them live either!!!
I was 17 when i first heard of them when "With Roots Above and Branches Below" came out. Then got into "Dear Love" and "Plagues" and "Zombie EP". When "Dead Throne" came out, i was kinda skeptical cause i don't hear no 'lower' low vocals but it grew on me in about two or three weeks and i love it. Then along came "8:18" and i always love it alot because i hear raw vocals. Since then, TDWP has been one of my favorite bands that got me into this kind of music.
+Justin Todd I remember their cd release show for dear love at the underground in fairfield ohio. it was a good night since when hope prevails played.
I could have not said it better. fully agree, and as did I.
This intro has the sickest tone ever
The Devil Wears Prada can Grow Beards all over.
LOL!
8/18
Alex Taylor the devils wears beards
I srr what you did there... 😂
My favorite song, that synth Breakdown never gets old.
time surely fast!!
i remember listen this song yesterday and realize that yesterday was 10 years ago *shedtears
I don't know who has more energy. Mike, or his mic's input cable.
PERFECTION
1:17 SUCH A PILLOW FIGHT THIS COULD BE
.....can't unhear.....
What has been said, cannot be unsaid
Hmm... I dont follow...?
thought it said sick ass pillow fight at first
+justinfuzzyhat lmao, I'm just picturing an intense ass pillow fight to that part of the song
This has an In Flames vibe to it. Very nice.
Dead Throne is peak DWP
Yup!
This song is so addictive
not gonna lie DT was their best peak's
not the heaviest but epitome
he's getting older and has been doing this for many years so he's doing whats healthiest, and you can't say it sounds bad, he still sounds phenomenal. all he did was switch from falsechords, mostly lows and growls, to power fry, which is more of a yell and higher
that intro live is insane
Gives me chills everytime to hear the crowd yell "LET THIS RUIN ME"
Masterpiece.
Is that a Fender Jazzmaster? Ok, I officially love this band.
Perfection ❤❤❤
amazing band, amazing song (:
TDWP!!!!
best song in my opinion from TDWP
Totally agree
Zachary Taylor Agreed this and Sailor's Prayer I'd throw South Of The City, Planet A, and Daughter in the mix as well
dez moines, martyrs and still fly before this
lCLMXl I agree
Still a banger
this video deserve much viewers!!!
TDWP is and probably always will be my favorite band.
I love how they do nothing except grow as musicians and expel such meaningful messages through their music.
such sikth, much awesome, very core. wow
TDWP has been one of my favorite bands for years and I've always thought they perfected their sound in "With Roots Above and Branches Below". I wish I could just have like a thousand songs with that sound
The first time I blessed my ears with this song I was sitting in a Prison cell thinking about my life. This song inspired me to better myself and I have."SUCH A BITTER FRIEND, CHANGE CAN BE" \m/
great testimony
Were you in a jail cell for the night and some cop played it over the loud speaker?
Chad Thundercock Maybe perhaps, he meant a jail cell overnight for a minor crime or misdemeanor. Prisons won’t let you bring in anything with your person from the outside world.
Prisoners smuggle in cell phones, mp3s, etc all the time
Alright since everyone wants to argue over this man’s comment, your allowed a MP3 player in prison. You have to buy songs on it an it’s a see through MP3 player
the screams was unique! i really like the screams. the screams suited the song.
Greetings from the future.
Man I love Christmas music🥰
Man, this song is BROOTAL!
AA and TDWP are both fantastic hands that I love
I can't wait to see you guys perform tomorrow in Vegas (:
Been with TDWP since the start. One of the few.bands who don't argue with one another and break up. Much respect to these dudes. Mike and Jeremy are badass vocalists.
Why do people say metalcore doesn't have good riffs? Plenty of it does.
This song (especially 1.13) will not leave my head.
Also if you are arguing about anything other than Prada's music on here, regardless of which side you are on, you are a fool.
1:13 "POKEMON"
xDDDDD
"PICCOLO"
May God they remain blessing them; Amen.
I WONT LET THIS RUIN ME!!!!
Cameron Rodriguez yes you will
Never let it ruin you, you are saved.
Onw of the greatest hardcore bands of all time! Long live TDWP!!!
They are more Metalcore than hardcore
Jeremy is such a good fucking singer. He needs to be singing a lot lot more in their songs.
I wouldn't mind Jeremy even starting a new band, one where he is the lead vocals.
Seeing them today. Can't wait!
1:14 POKEMON
Adam Artz again dude, again xD
Ahsyaa Pratama hi
+Adam Artz
I heard that too
Hello again.
ProdigalNinja hi xD
still a banger to this day
GREAT band to see live
Life is way too short.
Then again, living your life is the longest thing you will ever do.
Cody Walker then how come it last so long for people.
I think that statement can only be shifted towards people who are murdered and or killed in an accident everyday when you watch the news.
In the end we are blessed with this band, enjoy the TDWP until death comes for you :)
I WON'T LET THIS RUIN ME! Favorite part of this great song!
He's not being lazy, he's choosing a vocal style that's not going to destroy his vocal chords and give him brutal nodules..he's being a responsible musician
I like this kind of scream better 🤷
How ignorant of you? The False Chord stuff he did on there Crabcore albums will not destroy your vocals if you do them properly.
@@Vinnay94 the way he used to do them would absolutely harm his voice..
@@ANTHONYFERNANDO Because he used incorrect technique. He sounded shit live because he probably fucked his voice up from the first 2 songs in the setlist. Most of the 2000s Metalcore bands had vocalists who did not use correct technique, that's why people like Danny Worsnop, Matt Tuck, Oli Sykes fucked there voices up. Nowadays, Metalcore/Deathcore bands actually use proper technique.
@@Vinnay94 That was my point. That he found a technique that worked better for him. This is a non-argument
0:35 I love that riff!
I love their music and how they are a religious band also. Keep on keepin on brotherman!
sussing these guys out before they tour with a day to remember here in aus...this is strangely enjoyable, should be good live
i miss old tdwp
They lost their uniqueness when they decided to get rid of Chris Rubey and go pop-rock, it's their choice. Good two ep's in last 8 years, not a lot
@@filkolins3857Chris went out and everything went downhill except color decay
I agree. With Roots Above and Branches Below was their best album. Plagues was my favorite
GOT A WIDE ON
is that a girl version of a hard on?
ya
I'd like to see that
lmao
where can i view one of these wide ons in action?
took me awhile to decide of fav metalcore band, and honestly there the best
"IS THIS ITTTT?! IS THIS HOW IT GOOOEEESSSS. IT COMES BACK, FULL CIRCLEEE"
Truly one of the best Metalcore bands you'll ever see live.
this guitarplayer use a baritone jazzmastsr?
+Jerônimo Filho yeah wtf i saw he used a jazzmaster
+Jerônimo Filho i guess he used the modified jazzmaster with a 25.5 inch scale
i guess i see your point but TDWP will always be something else in my eyes
its sounds like some1 suffering bipolar disorder
" Is this it? Is this how it goes? I am the wretched one, I am the beggar's hands.
It comes back full circle. I cannot help but feel nothing. "
He’s struggling with sin.
saw these guys last night, they were amazing!
That baby looks like it's dancing lol
the band is awesome
This song and video are my most favorite things EVER. \m/ \m/
TDWP, Architects and ABR are some of the best metalcore of our generation!
2019!!!??????
GOD BLESS THIS BAND!!
love this song.
I really really dont wanna be that guy but...its TDWP. And thats awesome!! Im glad you converted. Those two bands are so inspirational!
1:14 POKEMON!!
Sweet video! Thank you. 💗
1:50 Incision in each growing balls
XD glad I wasn't the only one that thought it said that
awsome! those are my top three! when are they gonna have a concert together!??? I WANT TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who came here from Jared?
aye
Jared rocks \m/
JARED DINES !!!!!
which video from him??
"One Guy, 15 Voices(Metal rendition)
The best album of 2011 hands down, fucking amazing to see how far they have come and how much they have progressed
C mammoth :V
Jajajajajajaja
Entendí la referencia jajajajjaj
The best music video they've made!
I would really like this band if it weren't for the singer. his screams get on my nerves. scream deeper!! sounds like an infant crying. the guitarist is super talented tho lol
Saw them at warped today!!! mosh pit was insane!
when is their vocalist going to learn how to scream
Zombie EP
He used to know how....not anymore...well not since Zombie EP anyways. It's the single reason I've stopped listening to them. This was my attempt to give it another shot. NOPE. His voice is still terrible.
Just because he doesn't have a generic sound to his vocals doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to scream. His screams are on point. They're different and they have much more emotion than a prototypical shitcore vocalist.
Andrew Martinez
Correction: He used to know how to scream. He clearly can't anymore.
Well that's what i meant, I just phrased it differently.
Goated song goated album
I love DWP but they have some of the weirdest vocals ever.
Francisco Gomez how do you mean ?
Prada getting better and better with every album, and I very happy for them :) :3
He's 100 percent being lazy on his screams
So was your mom last night
Prada on the top 5 of my favorite bands of Metalcore :3
I love all of TDWP from patterns to discord to plagues to roots to zombie to dead throne
it shows thier getting only better with time
I personally really like them. They set him apart as a vocalist, and as a listener that sealed the deal with the new record for me. Your opinion is understandable though.
Favorite song on the album. So glad they put a video up on this. Badass.
