T R U T H it’s not considered an album for the number of tracks, it’s not an official album by them and counts as an EP but tbh it really isn’t anything different other then number of tracks, it’s still new music and I still call them albums too sometimes, that dude is just trying to be an ass by correcting you

Covid 19 reminding me that this is hands down one of the greatest metalcore releases of all time. TDWP was absolutely relentless from start to finish on this one.

When this album came out I said to myself, "When the zombie apocalypse happens, I'm blasting this album on repeat while trying to survive". 2020 and COVID-19 are here and the coronapocalypse is good enough reason for me to get this ish going. Let's get fired up y'all!

But nothing can beat how each track transitions into the next. The chainsaw that goes into Anatomy gave me chills seeing them okay it live at Warped

same here. the intro guitar riff of "Anatomy" is so brutal that every time I pick up a drop b guitar, I play it.

These boys really helped make the Dayton music scene what it was.
I remember blaring this on surround sound when I was home alone as a teenager, going absolutely ape shit.
I love how this EP still holds up, Revive has the best chorus imo, but you could take on an army to Outnumbered (ironically).
I used to play the entire album, start to finish, on the jukebox when I worked at Flanigans, and wanted to clear the restaurant by 11pm
The shotgun cocking right before the breakdown in Escape gives me goosebumps still
One of the best, most well-produced metalcore albums of the 2010s.

i remember when this shit came out, looking at it now you'd think the cover art is bland, but it really adds a lot to the imagination than if they had a drawing of a huge zombie horde or something. it gives a eerie desolated feel
Plus the powerlines, a sign of civilization, heading off into the distance of a city that's likely overrun is a clever Alfred Hitchcock style of hinting at a horror and letting the viewers imagination run wild.
reminds me a lot of Days Gone.
Yeah, it's like desolate but vast at the same time. Walking Dead vibes.
The art cover always brings me that feeling of death through desolation
This is like driving away from a city flooded with zombies.

Start to finish this EP is perfect. Then Dead Throne came out and blew my mind. I've liked every single album from them. All of them have a different twist. Can't wait for the next album.

The nostalgia for this EP is real. This was the release that showed me that TDWP had far more artistic potential than any other Rise Records metalcore band at the time. It's also the album that introduced me to the mixing mastermind that is Joey Sturgis.

This album, specifically the song 'Revive', has played such a major role in my life when I was a young teenager. Not necessarily in a good way, but to reminisce on this album and the soundtrack that I made it become behind this time in my life is incredible.
Sometimes it's hard to believe I ever thought or lived the way I did, and this album is like a link in a chain of memories I would otherwise forget.
Damn, this comment is too relatable. This EP has the exact same effect on me. Takes me right back to when I would obsessively listen to it over and over as a 13 year old back in the day (I am 25 in just a couple of weeks)! Makes me feel old hahahaha

This shit don't get old. I was at the Zombie 5 tour in STL, can barely remember it from the overwhelming euphoria I felt hearing this in it's entirety. Hope they do a 10 year anniversary tour for this record. They hold it very dear to them. This was TDWP's advertisement for Dead Throne and the direction they'd be taking their music going forward.
