Totally loved writing the music for this game! Thank you Ubisoft Milan and Paris for giving me the opportunity! I have to of course mention the man, the legend, that is Davide Soliani, it all started with this crazy idea coming out of his crazy head!
Honor to see your comment here Mr. Kirkhope. Your soundtrack in my favorite video game of all time (Banjo Kazooie) have always uplifted me in life and motivated me to keep pushing forward and stay humble for the beautiful world we walk on! If I ever imagined myself to be a composer, I know my inspiration would come from you. Every step I took on this game felt a bear and bird were in the game's spirit. Amazing job on this game's soundtrack.
22:30 this music can be played When a bully wants to fight you When you miss the bus When you have to clean up your room When your speed running a game When get chased by anything When your class plays dodge ball When you fight a boss Thats it
Perplexing Pantheon When I learned he did the soundtrack I instantly realized why the music sounded so weirdly nostalgic for a game that had just come out. He has such a unique style and I love this game even more now that I know he's behind the music!
Banjo Kazooie is the best ost I've heard in my entire life. And I heard it for the first time last year so there's zero nostalgia behind my statement. I wonder if Kirkhope will ever top that one.
The songs that starts 22:39 in, is simply amazing. Fantanstic work!!! This and the rising curve of difficulty made me hang on cuz its way too easy and simple at first. ps: check the song at 28:21 also amazing
Fun thing, I was listening to this soundtrack while playing and was thinking "I like this music, it gives me a very certain vibe but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe reminds me of a pixar movie soundtrack idk." Then I started thinking about all these games I have played and suddenly one I haven't played in probably over 10 years came to my mind. Viva Piñata. I didn’t remember a single song from that game so (naturally) I searched the soundtrack on youtube to see (hear?) if I could remember any songs. I soon realized that both of these games have a similar "vibe" to their music and maybe that's why the game "coincidentally" came to mind. Well reading the comments there, I realized the soundtracks for both of these games were composed by the same person :) Not an exciting saga but I think it's kinda cool how that unconcious distant connection was being made and it just shows how composers each have distinct styles even if the game is different lol.
OMG! Now it all makes sense why the music in several parts (the crystal cave part as an example) reminds me a looooot of DK64. I love this game even more♥
Dear god! I was playing the game and I was like "what the heck? why is banjo kazooie's OST in my ubisoft game?" so I came here to check and compare the soundtracks... only to see the great man behind BJ's ost made this one! Oh man I never knew this legendary writer was still working in the industry this is awesome news, I'm gonna appreciate this game so much more now that I know this
This is a truly amazing sountrack! Being a percussionist, it was great for me to hear the awesome use of the percussion section 🥁! The mix of the mix of the epic battle tracks and the more ambient exploration tracks really add some dynamic aspects to the game! I really hope we can sore like this in the near future! This is really some amazing stuff! Also, in 01:24:49 the opera boss always cracked me up, even though I had such a hard time fighting him.
Whenever I open up a chest and it makes a little jingle, my joycon's vibration frequency makes it sound JUST like the musical jingle! So it makes opening the chests that bit more satisfying! :P
Does anyone know where to find the preparing for battle/pre-battle music? I can't seem to find it anywhere; it's the same for the first two worlds but then it changes to a darker version once you get to world three
I uploaded Pre-battle / Introduction battle music on my channel. They seemed to be missing from here. I will get additional world music when i get to them in my actual game xD
NOTICE: I WILL KEEP UPDATING THIS COMMENT AS I FIND MUSIC IN THIS SOUNDTRACK THAT I LIKE (See below) Here are my favorite songs from the soundtrack (Of course, they're ALL amazing, but the word favorite exists for a reason) 0:00 Two Worlds Collide 2:27 Grand Opening 5:09 Ziggies! 22:34 Mid Boss Mayhem 01:03:19 Abbey Ruins 01:07:22 Spooky Skirmish
Grant Kirkhope used the same exact melody for the title (1:00) for scoring hat in time title lol. I think it was made for a Hat in time first though rip
Awesome soundtrack 👍, but you forgot “Ice of Sherbet Desert” it’s one of my favorites and I can’t find it anywhere. (It’s like “A Song of Ice and Desert”, but it’s the Sherbet version of it)
Top two benefits of this being published by Ubisoft instead of Nintendo: 1. The game goes on sale and gets discounts 2. THEY ACTUALLY LET US LISTEN TO MUSIC YEEEEEEESSSSSSS
I wish the more intense battle themes would be released. You know, when it's your turn in the game, they add more power to the songs. The Tower theme is particularly good.
Is anyone having a sound issue on the "overworld" with the "Grand Opening" playing? On dock mode I noticed that the music sometimes goes a little low for 1 second and it turns back to normal. It's just in the "overworld", I'm in the begginning now and this got me annoyed. I looked everywhere to find someone with the same problem but some people just complain about the "lag", maybe that's the "lag" they're talking about? Some frame rate issues, I don't know...
Yes, Grant Kirkhope composed that one song on A Hat In Time as well. He sampled the same melody in each song. Interestingly enough, “Her Spaceship” isn’t on the released soundtrack for A Hat in Time. It’s instead stored in the game folder.
Totally loved writing the music for this game! Thank you Ubisoft Milan and Paris for giving me the opportunity! I have to of course mention the man, the legend, that is Davide Soliani, it all started with this crazy idea coming out of his crazy head!
You made the soundtrack to this game far better than it needed to be, you should be the one getting thanks!

Awesome soundtrack! The only time I've ever wanted to get the music from a game.
Bless you grant!
Fantastic soundtrack, man! Both whimsical and epic, an amazing compilation indeed!
It's hilarious, Grant Kirkhope still has the same charm he's had since 1998. Grant's return to the games like these is a blessing.
I swear one of the songs in Sherbert Desert begins with Freezeezy Peak.
1:17:17
My god, that bass clarinet solo gives me chills every time
Same... I thought it was a bassoon though... Thanks for the clarification
i had that song stuck in my head for years and couldnt remember when it was from
22:30 this music can be played
When a bully wants to fight you
When you miss the bus
When you have to clean up your room
When your speed running a game
When get chased by anything
When your class plays dodge ball
When you fight a boss
Thats it
All of those work
You hear klungos theme in here awesome
this is the theme that plays when I walk in the room
That moment you realize... Grant Kirkhope just composed A MARIO GAME!
Yes my favorite game
not only a mario game but also a RABBIDS game, that was made by Ubisoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft and Rareware coming together for THIS!
He's DK's fist voice actor, so it's not THAT surprising.
*Far Rayman Spinoff
Man, you can really hear the Grant Kirkhope!
Perplexing Pantheon When I learned he did the soundtrack I instantly realized why the music sounded so weirdly nostalgic for a game that had just come out. He has such a unique style and I love this game even more now that I know he's behind the music!

AMEN
The Mid-Boss music is unbelievable amazing and fits well in Battle!
One of the best games on the Switch. Hopefully there is a sequel in the next few years!
This game needs more playable Mario characters and rabbid characters I hope ubisoft does that
@@VampkettleYT RABBID TOAD
Those are the challengers the ones holding the flag
Oh wait I got one Rabbid Daisy
@@VampkettleYT Rabbid Rosalina

The songs that starts 22:39 in, is simply amazing. Fantanstic work!!! This and the rising curve of difficulty made me hang on cuz its way too easy and simple at first.
ps: check the song at 28:21 also amazing
yeah then you get to world 3 and that just all changes
So true
They just say screw Luigi and beat him up if you are using him up until that point, which I was
Mid boss mayhem is probably my favorite! 22:33
[GD] Grape Juice Same! When I first heard it I just listened to it for 2 minutes cuz I loved it so bad
Simon The BOIII Yeah wooooooooo
I prefer Heart of Darkness
FIGHT ME !!
You know, I thought this game had a good soundtrack, but I was wrong.
It has a DAYUM good soundtrack!

To think, one of the world's weirdest ideas- became one of my all-time favorite games
OMG! Now it all makes sense why the music in several parts (the crystal cave part as an example) reminds me a looooot of DK64. I love this game even more♥

Freezeezy Peak fanfare at 49:34
Roxas YOOOOOOOO
4. Sunny Side Up : 03:49 - Definitely getting Banjo Kazooie vibes on this
Nota Egg same composer
Nota Egg lots to hear and see, except stupid bear and bird on 360
i gives me more a Viva Pinata feeling tbh, not that it matters that much
TheONLYONE I believe he composed Viva Piñata too! Man, what a legend
47:47, that's one of the best video game ost, also 1:30:59 is badass.
Nintendo: hey hey hey, that’s very illegal, you can’t let my music be here!
Ubisoft: OUR MUSIC.
You know it’s good music when you feel nostalgic earing it. Good job Grant!
The OST is a complete remix Banjo Kazzoie + Tooie + DK64 , I JUST LOVE IT
This soundtrack gets me through all assigments and homwork :)
This game is really a big surprise! Recommend to all SLG lovers.
I LOVE the combat themes in this game! I've been known to start the game just to listen to the fight tracks.
This is a truly amazing sountrack! Being a percussionist, it was great for me to hear the awesome use of the percussion section 🥁! Best part 0:00-2:00:10
I would agree. the part from -99:99:99 to -00:00:01 is terrible and awful, only when 00:00:00 came did I realize I had a purpose in the first place
2:00:10 is the worst
the prefect mix between adventurous and emosions
God I need this on spotify or something. Grant Kirkhope
It's available on Spotify now mate :)
Whenever I open up a chest and it makes a little jingle, my joycon's vibration frequency makes it sound JUST like the musical jingle! So it makes opening the chests that bit more satisfying! :P
Hoping that the soundtrack of Sparks of Hope will also be RUclips. 😁
This game so underrated wtf
Grant Kirkhope, you've done it again!
The world 2 songs are all super good it Just gives me good vibes
1:27:41 favorite part
Tower's Puzzle reminds, a lot, of the top of mount pajamaja in Mario and Luigi Dream Team
And now Yoko Shimomura composed for Sparks of hope :D
Does anyone know where to find the preparing for battle/pre-battle music? I can't seem to find it anywhere; it's the same for the first two worlds but then it changes to a darker version once you get to world three
I can't find it either :(
Same, I loved that it got progressively more epic. I wish someone would upload it.
Okay so I'm not crazy. I thought it was just me. Why hasn't anyone uploaded it? Those tunes are epic AF.
Same here, can't seem to find it, i especially love the world 4 version.
I bet it WAS posted, but yeah, lately, the videos of the soundtrack have been being deleted. It’s a bummer.
01:54:20 gives off serious symphonic black metal + choir vibes, Dimmu Borgir style 🤯🤘
My sons bed time music 🎼 everyday for the past 3 months
the music is fantastic
I love the music of this game, my favrite part is the music in the phantom fight: Taaa.. Raa.. Raa.. Na Raa Raaa Raaa
Wait, where's Rabbid Kong's first phase track?! It's the best one! With the epic Jungle Japes remix.
22:33 best one
I love this game and all the music involved :3
I love music in the kirkhopian style also this game in many ways felt more like a rare game then anything in the past 10 years
A life without Rabbids is a life I don't want to live.
Same
I uploaded Pre-battle / Introduction battle music on my channel. They seemed to be missing from here. I will get additional world music when i get to them in my actual game xD
Thanks so much, that's exactly what I was looking for!
How can a game so silly have a soundtrack this good?!
NOTICE: I WILL KEEP UPDATING THIS COMMENT AS I FIND MUSIC IN THIS SOUNDTRACK THAT I LIKE (See below)
Here are my favorite songs from the soundtrack (Of course, they're ALL amazing, but the word favorite exists for a reason)
0:00 Two Worlds Collide
2:27 Grand Opening
5:09 Ziggies!
22:34 Mid Boss Mayhem
01:03:19 Abbey Ruins
01:07:22 Spooky Skirmish
try "Tower Tweeter" 28:26
There are shades of his Goldeneye score too, the blasts of low brass.
omg can hear the banjo kazooie type influence in writing this
No wonder this soundtrack is so lit. Grant fucking Kirkhope composed it!
wait, this was uploaded by Ubisoft?
That's why the music was so awesome
omg the goose bumps at 1:39:01
Now we just need the entire soundtrack with extended versions of the songs
Grant Kirkhope used the same exact melody for the title (1:00) for scoring hat in time title lol. I think it was made for a Hat in time first though rip
it def would fit into AHIT

Awesome soundtrack 👍, but you forgot “Ice of Sherbet Desert” it’s one of my favorites and I can’t find it anywhere. (It’s like “A Song of Ice and Desert”, but it’s the Sherbet version of it)
1:26:23 🔥🔥🔥
i like the start of Bowser Returns at 1:56:24
22:32
Top two benefits of this being published by Ubisoft instead of Nintendo:

Batman 1989 Style, i love it.
Thank you uncle Ubi;)
36:08 ¡¡La mejor!!
0:00 Y este también.
This sounds so similar to banjo kazooie!
Jupiter Maroon same composer.
Grant Kirkhope, the composer of the Banjo-Kazooie games, as well as Donkey Kong 64 and many other Rare games, did the music for this game.
Jupiter Maroon same composer
I think banjo kazooie is a lot better. More unique. Here, it sounds like grant is trying too hard to be someone he's not.
Jupiter Maroon made by the same guy
I wish the more intense battle themes would be released. You know, when it's your turn in the game, they add more power to the songs. The Tower theme is particularly good.
ItsASquid they are on youtube. What isn’t, though, are the pre battle preparation themes
2nd song = 5. World Yooka Laylee^^
So original so Grant so GREAT!!😥😥😥😥❤❤❤
47:56 This part hit hard
I feel like not enough people talk about how awesome 43:53 is
The Phantom
This sounds a whole lot like music from A Hat in Time
Not gonna lie, you're right
I think Grant Kirkhope helped a little with that soundtrack
27.01:00:00 Icicle Golem Fracas (all of the Icicle Themes, in fact) sounds almost like something Danny Elfman would compose :D
Bwa Enemies! is underrated.
5:34 What's with this motif? It's everywhere in "epic" triumphant themes and I don't know why. Does anybody?
Sparks. Of. Hope.
I love 1:16:10 the best one
I only like this one because this is the 1 where Valkyrie appears
Can anyone tell me which track is used in the versus mode battle?
32:15 brings me back to Medievil 2 ost : the freakshow...I don't know why 😋🤓
medievil fan spotted,
Huzzah! a man of quality!
Banjo Kazooie 3 - That's no bad thing!
Did Grant Kirkhope also work on A Hat in Time? The ship theme kinda sounds like something from him
The ship theme is actually composed by him
Yup
All I can hear when the intro plays is rabbids screaming BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:03 is that Her spaceship I hear?
Yes, Grant Kirkhope composed that one song on A Hat In Time as well. He sampled the same melody in each song. Interestingly enough, “Her Spaceship” isn’t on the released soundtrack for A Hat in Time. It’s instead stored in the game folder.
I was hoping to find the music that plays in the cutscenes. It sounds like a cartoon in some, like Looney Tunes for instance.
Anybody know where I could find the map themes for the DK dlc? Especially the bit with the singing birds involved~
best part of the video 43:23
So the ubisoft assistant sent me here when I asked "can you play music?" Not dissapointed😂
Does anyone know where I can find Soundtrack 5 and 33 in the game?
Where are the musics that play when you enter a battle in world 3 & 4 and get prepared before it starts?
Does anybody know what timestamp "Theme With No Name 2" can be found at?
why is not the "Rabbid Kong theme" version in the official soundtrack :c
Why you remove Act 2 (vocal) from phantom???
it's an unused song in the game
best soundtrack do not @ me
0:48 I hear a bit of a hat in time in there
Yeah, Grant Kirkhope wrote the one song in A Hat In Time. “Her Spaceship” it’s called.
Lmao no wonder it sounded similar to Kingdoms of Amalur. Will this be released on Google ▶?
05:09 , 15:09 and 42:09
i noticed there's one part in Cold Start, Hot Finish that sounds like GCN Sherbet Land. am i the only one?
There’s one part that sounds exactly like we are number one. Does anyone know when that is?
