Love that song and Waylon both the greatest
Love that the producer and editor included shots of Waylon's steel guitarist, the incomparable Ralph Moonie. They were a team and Ralph definitely added to the Waylon sound. They were the best.
What a Big Guy in every Way!Musically talented & Great Big VOICE!LOVE HIM.THNX.A LOT JENNINGS!!😅
Moon was the greatest, this has to be really near the end of his career
Edit: saw the date in the description. Mr. Mooney still had some years in him at this point
They called him Crazy Arms, because of the wild way he played drums. I think
Moon put the perfect touch on every song.
Waylon Jennings once played with "The Master Of Music" Buddy Holly, the ultimate singer, songwriter, guitarist, violinist, pianist, musical producer, musical director, sound dubbing artist, musical genius. What a lucky Waylon was
Waylon Jennings will always be the king of country
Waylon just carried himself and his music with such confidence.
I miss Waylon...
Hoss, your still the king!!!!
mrbobevans
Hell yes sir
Hell YES !!! Waylon was the Man , Waylon is the Man !& Waylon Will ALWAYS be the MAN !!! My car license plate says “ Waymore 😉“ 👍🏻♥️Waylon passed away on My Birthday( 2~13 ~) 2002 . I cried all that day on My Birthday and I’m still crying 😢.
I had the pleasure of seeing waylon jennings perform live twice !
I met Waylon in 72/73 at his brother's home when he showed up after dinner in Littleton, CO. One song and my daddy pulled up. I thanked Mrs. Jennings said my goodbyes and left, telling my daddy about "Uncle Waylon", he was a singer. That's how I found out who this Uncle was and told not " to be talking ". Well I'm still a Waylon fan, lucky to have seen him and Willie at Red Rocks in the 70s. Now THOSE were some concerts lol!
That is like WAYY FN COOL !!!!! Waylon was the Man , Waylon is The MAN & WAMORE will ALWAYS be The Outlaw ☝🏻! Hell Yeah !!!! 👍🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️🎤🎶🎶🎶. I really wrote that song cos I was made at Willie , LMAO 😂...
Tommie Townsend lives just few miles from Me .& Has Grand Daddy Mimms Moonshine distillery . JS ...
Wow, that’s wonderful.
❤. I Love You Very Much. Waylon Jennings ❤❤❤❤❤
❤. Rest in Peace 🕊️🕊️. Waylon Jennings ❤
He's still the King if you don't believe it there's a little beer joint over in Cut & Shoot, Texas....... The rest as they say "it's history".
Not many have heard of Bob Wills. Waylon is known world-wide. There's the difference between a king and a LEGEND. God bless Waylon!
PERFECTLY well said!👏🏻
I don't think I understand just what the hell you're saying.Everyone in country music has heard of Bob Wills. If Bob ain't a legend, you ain't got no appreciation for the roots of the genre.
Basically, you're an idiot.
oh and btw, im a gigantic wayon fan
Depends which generation you speak about
Bob Wills was a giant
" It's the home of Willie, what's his name"! Awsome!
Bob Willis and the Texas Playboys
He had to be pissed at him that day
Ole Willie “ what’s His name 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻☝🏻” 😉🎶🎶♥️...& As I always say “ PICK IT MOON !! “ & The Grand OLE OPROAR 😬☝🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”
The unwaveringly love between musicians/ friends , how grand that was. soul deep I'll forever love Willie & Waylon ..I've passed on my love of their music to my children, my oldest is 33 and my baby is 17 , they each know your songs by the first guitar strum..... Thank ya for sharing your gift with us.
@@el_pescadore ciao El cid! 🙋♀️🥰😘😍❤️

I dont usually like Waylon Jennings, but by gee this is pretty good. The Rollings Stones also do this song and I wouldnt like to be the one to say either is better. They both have their own style on this song.
Waylon is the King
Mad at Willie LOL 😂 that's funny
No Biker bash s complete with out a few Waylon songs He s the king RIP Waylon
2023 still listening to real country
Waylon had that same Telecaster as a young man on the Johnny Cash show.
You the king Hoss!!
Awesome
Waylon you are king
They cut him off right before he introduced Ralph Moody!!!!!!
Waylon didn’t like it when they started calling Willie the king of Austin.
Because he’s not, he ain’t the king of shit. Willie sounds like a damn 90 year old cancer patient, plus he got famous of waylons songs
@@deathtollz4095 LOL Not exactly. Willie wrote "Crazy." But Bob Wills is still the king. In Texas.
@@deathtollz4095 Willie nelson is a national treasure, and "Red Headed Stranger" is one of the best records that's ever been cut.
@@deathtollz4095 Sir don't ever come to Texas slandering Willie. You do know Waylon and Willie were close friends, and Waylon stated he didn't really listen to Bob Wills, right?
@@deathtollz4095 bs.willie wrote many songs.for many famous singers.these guys were friends.
Nice one Hoss ;)
You ain't shit in country music if you don't play right in Texas

Heck, it cuts off Waylon introducing the late, very great, Ralph Mooney. Krickey!
Yep. PITA!

Why would you stop recording when you did?
this great and all the others have moved onto music heaven and now its just crime, crime, illegals an d drugs in texas. awful!
His daughter’s name is Jen Jennings!?
You cut off him introducing Mooney!
By God!!!!!!!!!!!!
In this song when he says Bob Wills is still the king I'm thinking that must be in contrast to Hank Williams Sr.
George Jones is still the king.
The Rolling Stones, brought me here.🤣
Thought yes never see mick lowen again boy your wrong
Besser haben es nur die Stones interpretiert
I like Jaggers version better.
Stones did it better 😁
