In this video we tour a converted van/RV by Brian (@Aux_built / aux_built ) This is a 21' Class B Starflyte RV that Brian bought and then had lifted and converted to true 4 wheel drive by Ujoint Offroad. Brian did all of the exterior work on this rig including building robust aluminum roof racks and bumper and raptor lining the van. The interior was expertly built out by Johnson Custom Van Solutions (www.johnsoncustomvansolutions.... Brian and his team did an incredible job and if you can find yourself a Starflyte RV in nice condition after seeing this van you should definitely pull the trigger. I was really into several of the components Brian chose to use in his van.

As a class b owner/traveler of two tv's for the last 28 years, I put a lot of importance on roof air that can be powered anywhere. Opens up the full four seasons to go, or just to be comfortable when the need calls for it. 1993 Airstream B van (16 years) and a 2009 Krystal Sprinter (12 years). Both with showers and roof ac and generators. Bought the Airstream when I turned 40 in 1995. Still going strong, best life living decision.
We bought this shed at the beginning of July. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxe81Bz076USDt6sYU1rDcNa2LwCIKADgB It’s built now and just needs painting. The instructions were clear and concise. All the parts were there and in excellent condition.
Pretty amazing. You really have to know your stuff to design and set up a rig like that. One practical thing that sets this apart from most "van" tiny homes is it has the all important toilet/shower. Even if it's a small space, those two things are must haves/
Yeah this conversion was really well executed!
I agree Riogrande. Way too overpriced for that conversion. Also has the worst motor even produced by Ford. You’ll hate the spark plugs when they snap on you. That 5.4L must get 7-9mpg down the highway especially those high of gears. Should of just spent the extra $2-3K for a 7.3 that year. More power. More efficient and more reliable. This is sadly lipstick on a pig.
@@maxboyathe 5.4 2 valve is one of Ford's most reliable engines ever ...
You must be an arm chair van lifer
I'm pretty sure that's the single best conversion job I've ever seen. Fantastic design, fantastic execution!
I work in long beach and go on walks on my breaks.. I witnessed this van being built over several months right next to my work.. crazy to stumble across this.
Nice of you to list prices, most people don’t
Which makes a grand total of: $ I can't afford it
Pake mo mga hudlong mga pisti yawaa mo
Love this. This was so well done and explained very clearly about FWD and AWD. Thanks.
Awd and 4x4
There's no price for satisfaction
Agreed ...I just can't afford that price... I have a conventional class a RV.. I flat tow a 4wd 4runner.... That's as close to his life I get
Said no one in a minimum wage job ever.
Awesome build, great video and a very professional presentation/ information on specs, advantages and reasoning for certain features!! Kudos to you!
Wishing you and your family many safe camping trips!!
This is one of the most impressive vehicles I've ever seen. Most excellent job on this.
It's an incredible conversion!
This really is an outstanding off-road RV. The overall fit and finish appears to be second to none.
I appreciate the owners detailed descriptions about how the build was first conceived, designed, and then implemented. All very good choices and all made on solid considerations. The end result is a very capable off-road RV that practically anyone would be able to use and enjoy without further modifications.
However... I don't know how much power an incinerating toilet requires, but that would be my choice, and I would try to devise a means to increase the solar panel surface area.
I'm envious and I have to nit-pick.
Great Rig! I really love seeing what you did with an older RV , bringing it back to something better than its ever been
Nice rig and great narration education.
The more I watch these builds, ditching the propane seems a good idea.
Aypag english² dra bigyan tka ron HAHAHAH
Love it! Great build!
Really nice job! Congratulations. Hope to see you down the road one of these days!
Adventure rig? Bro, that's an Apocolypse rig! Awesome. Totally awesome!
Wow nice job. Cages over the road lights. Cool
Awesome RV with all the extras you need to get out there and enjoy life to it’s fullest.👍
An awful lot of work and thinking went into this. Worth it.
really amazing. probably my favorite so far. 100k is pretty steep and gets me wondering when I can ever afford a luxury like that myself lol. still very inspirational
Love the front window curtain idea. Stealing that for sure.
One of the best designed interiors I have seen from the US.
This is really a very nice build and great video. Makes me want to purchase one today.
THIS IS AMAZING.
This is the best concept and best conversion I've seen.
Incredible job!!
Great work!
Absolutely BAD ASS... Great Vid!
You had me at hanging closet!
Absolute beast
Looks like an awesome build!
This thing is amazing. Good job
Dude, this thing is bad ass.
"We"-You've got one lucky girl . Nothing compares to an intelligent guy who clearly knows how to chase his dream. Stay with it! Wow! What a vehicle!!! Smart! So well planned and executed. Much respect. I noticed you didn't mention mileage...oh, what the heck...does it even matter when you put happiness into that equation?! Awestruck.
Aw thanks so much! We're both lucky! 8 to 9mpg at 65mph on a flat highway. Cheers!
@@auxbuilt4190 THAT IS THE ONE PROBLEM WITH THOSE RIGS, THEY'RE FINE BUT NEED TO BE CONVERTED TO ELECTRIC

WOW Awesome...
Stay Healthy and Keep Safe Always Sir...
Finally a van I would actually use!
Very very nice! Came up random, totally enjoyed watching it.
the best one yet
This has to be the best conversion I have seen. Great job
Thank you! Greatly appreciate you saying so man!
Agreed. I'm apprehensive about 4x4 exploration vehicles of this size and weight, but this one makes it look feasible.
The spot where the drone is panning away from your camper looks like the Tilamook Forest in Oregon in a spot I drive by all the time. Love the van by the way!
Amazing van!
this is so sick
Awesome. Exactly what I want
“The bathroom is not the Taj Mahal” no way 😂 😂
Nice Job On The Curtains.
Best build yet
Spray that with him raptor bedliner, I’m only asking because I sprayed my own to Tacoma love that product. Nice, set up. Thanks for your time.
Sorry I should’ve watched the full video before I commented
Great job 👍👏
this is amazing
I’m from Rhode Island An you are a inspiration
Simply awesome
Amazing conversion top quality heavy duty go anywhere rig. Well done. Only one con, I would rather sleep under the truck than in the claustrophobic coffin space. Happy travels.
Beautiful, great job
Cool van.
fantastic video thanks
Amazing rig....
great job!
That's not a bad total price all things considered. Super cool.
Much much better than the original design congrats for you.
Nice...really nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like almost a dream van... but 90k and lack of insulation well it's about priorities.
Amazing curtains and van soo far
SUPER!

Awesome ❤️❤️❤️

Definitely built with off-roading in mind (guy knows what he’s talking about when describing the “whys” )
I recommend getting leather care products for the front seats. Can be found in virtually any equestrian store ever.
Caring for leather products increases quality, age and durability. You wouldn't want cracked seats right after you bought the car, right?
Shoulda went with the econoline turbo diesel sweet motor!
NICE
aaaaaaand he sold it :) looks like he is on to a new project. interested to see how it turns out.
Yes
That's sweet
Man , you're a badass builder , it is beautiful looking. I'm wondering if you still have that van , I hope so beautiful I liked to see you traveling around the world. If you still have the van I'd like to wish you a few million miles with that beautiful van 💯😎❤️👍 Outstanding build you have there .
nice idea for #camping or #overlanding
Great van build!!! Keep it out of the salt water and it should last a long time.
Well done with the all important bathroom ,very compact build, enjoy your many years adventures to come. We have done all our overseas RV travel but now late 70s will stay home. Our present Camper is a1966 small school bus . Kiwi travellers.
I have had a nature head for a few years now and plainly got tired of the cleaning. If I waited too long, though no smell, it would get dog heavy. So ... I removed the stir bar and put in a removable bucket. Then line the bucket with double plastic bag. I put in a layer of wood pine chips and then as the black business is done I layer another pine chips (fine but not sawdust, which may work too. I set the bucket lid on top between uses, really easy to do... just as an additional thing. The open flap opens and closes well. Then when full I can remove the bucket and/or bag and it's outta here. I have noticed near zero bugs at all not like the peat... some use other expandable too.. I just got tired of cleaning it and at 1K for the toilet, I would have done something way different at first... but just repurposed what I already have.... This is a great rig ... good job....
Nice van. Built.really well. FYI , princes color was purple.
98 Brian one 4x4 4 nice work
感恩,謝謝分享!
i mean if you have 65k send it, but if your starting out id suggest looking at other more cost-efficient builds! good build overall, not knocking it, just giving perspective!
For sure. The cost of this wasn't lost on me and it's not something many can afford unless you don't have a house and live in it full-time.
Please list a cost effective build
The revels are 4x4 not all wheel drive, they even have a low range button. And there is a company that makes lockers for the sprinter. FYI. But it is always nice to have a one of a kind like yours.
Wow this build is incredible . I have a 1992 Ford E350 camper van, love it. I do hate my blinds , can you tell me what curtain accessories / track you got for the front curtains and also your window curtain rods. Would love these on my rig.
nice
Joli !!
The only thing that's more impressive then someone who knows the nitty gritty details of their gear is when they imagine, design and build it... this cat is the real deal!
Kool
That thing is pimptastic! Stud mobile!!!

The Best 🤠🇫🇮
I'm watching this like "yup, this is the one I'd take on the road because it's most like one I'd build." Then I see the price tag at the end and realize I'm a bougie bitch 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video! The only issue, was that the guy comes from Massachusetts.
With regards to your electrical system, does your AC unit have a soft start on it? Just curious.
Wow.
