In this video, Matt and Arch show you how to remove the factory spoiler on the 2015 & up Mustang.
Just because you know how to do this job doesn't mean everyone does. There is always someone doing something for the first time.

Now with the residue from the old adhesive tape , did you use goo gone ? Or even denatured alcohol?

What size are the nuts on the stock spoiler ? Ima be removing mine tomorrow.

I believe they're broadly similar, yes. This should, at least, get you headed in the right direction.

@@MustangsbyMatt good I was able to change from stock to the track spoiler
I bought 3/8 inch socket and it doesn't fit for these, idk why Americans use 10mm screw instead of 3/8 inch. They just mixed metric and American system
First Ford? They love mixing and mismatching.
How did U get the orange tabs off on the third side holes ???
They just popped off with a little plastic scraper.
when i put my new one on there was a tiny gap between the spoiler and the truck will that be okay with the weather?
Did you add a sealer, such as rtv or 3m adhesive tape?
How can I put it back ? Do I need buy double side tape again ?
Probably don't have to use as much as Ford did but yes.
What do u do if the screw fell in the trunk
Buy new ones. That's why I said to be careful.

Hi. Thanks for your video. Maybe you can give me and advice on this one. I own a 2014 gt and I bought a 2016 Ecoboost turbocharged premium convertible. PLEAEEEESE !!! Any suggestions on where or what kind of spoiler I can get and install on this last one. ? Not to many options because of the "ball" antena that has on top of the trunk maybe? I don’t know…. I just want to install a nice spoiler for it. Any thoughts??? Thanks. (Miami Girl)
