Have you guys noticed that artist channels on RUclips can't link shorts to their longer videos on their channel? It's specifically called "related video to your RUclips Shorts". Why don't all artist channels on YT have this great feature? Other small and large channels have this important option, which is really beneficial for promotion. Short videos promote the longer ones, which is awesome, but it doesn't work on RUclips artist channels. What are your thoughts on this, and do you think RUclips will ever enable it for them? ♥☺
If @Bassfunmusic channel can't link from shorts back to normal videos on same channel that totally sucks and you should at least attempt to reach out to RUclips and complain why. I am not aware of inability of some channels to add link in short back to a video they have posted to their own channel. If you have multiple channels under your account, such as one shorts only channel and then a second channel with normal videos I am aware you can not link from your Shorts channel to your normal channel as RUclips considers them separate channels. Unrelated suggestion, on your recent keyboard videos if creating more I think you should position camera differently. Maybe it is just me but the way my mind works when I watch at that weird angle I get a kind of queasy feeling. My mind thinks I am standing over the keyboard at that angle and it thinks I am about to lose balance and fall over. Place camera where a persons head might normally view someone playing piano. If Camera was straight over the keyboard without any wonky side angle that might be OK too.
Update: after a couple of rounds of emails the RUclips support team sent me this - “We've heard back from the internal team, and please allow me to share some information about this. It seems that this feature is still rolling out and should be available on your channel soon, so right now what we can do is wait until this feature is available on your channel. In the meantime, you can also send us any feedback about this matter using this link. [obviously the link won’t copy here in the comments section] Your feedback will help us identify gaps that need to be filled.” So they didn’t mention anything specific about artists channels, but they did say it hadn’t been completely rolled out yet. 🤷🏻♂️
Related videos link on my youtube short is not working. It says, "To link a Short to a video, first verify your phone number." Then I hit verify and it takes me to a page were it says "Your phone number has already been verified." It just keeps doing that and the button to link a related video never actually works. Dose anyone know hoe to fix this?
There are so many quirks and dumb limitations on RUclips like this. I am annoyed that from PC we can’t choose thumbnail for short or select from popular music. For that we need to transfer file to phone and then upload as RUclips mobile app supports it. Also annoying is can’t do the same from RUclips app on Tablet. So shorts edited on tablet need to get transferred to phone to choose music and thumbnail. Then to add link from short to video you can’t use mobile app you need to go back to PC. And now your situation where it won’t let you link to a video on a different channel you run, has to be same channel. Argh! Another annoyance is if channel has both shorts and videos, I hate end screens recommending my shorts rather than videos, even if last posted video was a short. I wish we could check box to never recommend our shorts after a full screen video has been watched. Having a second shorts channel is tough I think if goal is to get monetized. Shorts view hours don’t count. To get the required views (10 million in 90 days) would be an impossibility for most channels unless the content was extremely engaging and or addictive. I would love to hear a statistic from RUclips on how many channels have reached monetization via 10 million views.

You know, another limitation that I realized a few weeks back is that if you have a channel with both shorts and longs, you can't separate them in the Content section of YT Studio on desktop, but it has the option to do that in the YT Studio app. The content section can get cluttered on the desktop site. Odd that the experience in the app is better than on the website
Option for "Related Video" appears for me in Windows PC Web browser in RUclips studio, when uploading shorts from RUclips App on Android and iPhone, and in mobile RUclips studio app. If you do not see "Related Video" I am not sure why that would be.

I think I have this issue as well. Just chatted with RUclips support tonight. They are supposed to get back to me with an email tomorrow.
I was looking for something like this, glad to know I'm not the only one, sad to know it's an issue for artists

Maybe the feature is not available in your country
it's kinda crazy because you can't link to a video on another channel. if you have a separate shorts channel, you're out of luck.

I did but it didn't work

But when I follow link it starts the linked video
I do see your last short does not give title of video it gives channel name. Not sure why.
