I started following the McDougall diet last April and took myself off rheumatoid arthritis meds at the same time. I didn’t do the programme, I just used the recipes on the McDougall website, read the book and binge watched these videos. I’ve been med free since then. Occasionally I have a little stiffness but other than that I am absolutely fine. After 6 years on immunosuppressants this is an incredible result for me. I now do yoga, go to the gym 4 times a week and have just started couch to 5k!!

Cheryl's story sounds in many ways like mine. We both struggles for few years, but we are both stubborn to make it right. This diet is the best there is, but it is not easy, maybe because it is a real diet and not the other BS diets around. It is based on science and it is a LIFE CHANGING diet. Just remember that you have to last about 2 years and if you do, you will be fine. Good for you Cheryl and the same goes to your partner. ❤

Read a book called Mastering Diabetes- you can do it. It's easy. Start right now by just replace one meal a day with something healthy like oats for breakfast instead of toast. ❤

Kathy Hester has a RUclips channel and she regularly has a McDougall nurse named Stacy Cross on the show to answer questions. I think there are 4 episodes.

I’m inspired to let the processed meats go. I’m not diabetic but I have high cholesterol. Stopped meat around 2019 but eat too many sweets. Thanks for the inspiration.
