This needs to have real spaces in the grill design so that IR signals can pass through. This set up only works with bluetooth connected devices. Forget about speakers. Also need more cutouts in the back or a backboard the slides out if you want to hide a power strip off the floor.

I hope the builder came to realize that soft closing drawers don't need constant steady pressure on them to close. They're kinda negating the technology in the video by pushing until the drawer is closed. Just push it most of the way, and the rail mechanism will take care of the rest. Additionally, a couple of clear rubberized bumpers on the inside of the drawer front will make sure that the drawers come to a close quietly as well.

What a spectacular piece of furniture art. Brava/ Bravo! Could you please tell us the materials used? It seems like you're using walnut plywood with edge banding for the carcass, and some parts of a ply (early on in the video) that appears like ¾ inch baltic birch, as well as walnut hardwood for the legs/ bottom frame. Is this correct? Thanks.

    • @jennsmistake

I wish I could buy this I've been looking forever for something like this!! Wish there were plans for this to make it. My main issue is I can't find long enough wood (10' long, grain following long side) to be able to make a waterfall edge and all. I'm surprised you made the butt joint the way you did, wouldn't you want the top and bottom to be all the way and then have the sides be "inside", both for looks and structural integrity for how the weight will be distributed?
