Wu Kong is the one game that needs to succeed. The combat so far has a few attack moves that could really hurt the bosses, I'm liking that. Linear game level design as well reported by those who have played the small sample size, which is good in my opinion.
Agreed. Some people say they don't care about DA and just want it over with so they can get the next Mass Effect already; but they don't realize that if Veilguard fails then we very likely might not get another Mass Effect ever.
Remember for MGS Delta, it's not going to be adding anything significantly new in terms of plot/story (on account of the fact they're not recording new audio for the game). So it isn't "Konami trying to understand what makes a great metal gear game", it's effectively just them slapping a new coat of paint on what was already a Kojima game. Survive proves they have no idea what makes a great MG game.
The devs knew they were building something terrible with MG Survive and they even hated the game as evidenced by them sneaking KJP Forever into the game as a middle finger to Konami.
If they are made with consulting focused on *MODERN AUDIENCES* that will give an idea ofwhich games already have a solid chance to no do well or straight up failing.

Mind you, this is publicly published information simply compiled together for people who don't want to support such companies with their money, but are being false labeled as "sexist, racist, and phobic" and instigating actual harm, disregard the fact that a wide and diverse gamer audience don't support their "soapboxing" preachiness, or trend of masculinizing female characters that are act based on pretty/beautiful character scan models while males look one to one in appearance. Anytime someone says MODERN AUDIENCES, it's usually followed by what I've stated above and then some.

The 3 games that I hope sell well and release with minimal bugs/glitches or other issues are AC Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. If I had to name a 4th, it would be SonicXShadow Generations. I don't expect 1 million+ in sales, but I just want it to sell well enough for Sega to acknowledge it as a success.

Yasuke was *not* a samurai according to feudal Japanese scholars, and Nioh isn't even about Yasuke. Nioh is about Irishman William Adams, considered the first European to become a samurai. You're thinking of Samurai Champloo, which is about Yasuke, but unlike Shadows, which is trying to paint it as historically accurate, Samurai Champloo doesn't even hide the fact it's over the top. You might not like that Yasuke wasn't a samurai, but pretending he was a samurai would be like pretending 9/11 didn't happen and the ramifications for our country don't exist.

Just because the Japanese develop a game that doesn't include one of their own people as a samurai doesn't mean they already have the amount of representation they ask for. Take Onimusha, for example. In the series, you play as a samurai in 16th century Japan fighting demons, and the series was developed by Capcom, which is a Japanese company. And it's also the fact that Ubisoft is blatantly obviously doubling down on the fact they didn't actually do their research and are trying to thinly veil their own sense of greed as progressiveness. Ghost of Tsushima was developed by Sucker Punch, the same studio behind the Infamous series, and they actually did their research.

That Assassin's Creed take is dreadful, Origins sold more than 10m, as did Odyssey and Valhalla is their biggest grossing game in the franchise.

Assassin’s Creed will fail because Ubisoft has been banning Japanese historians. We’ve been dying for a game set in Japan but if they’re pissed off about it that takes away some of enthusiasm the rest of us has for it.

I'm willing to play AC Shadows but if it's too bloated like AC Valhalla then I'm gonna have question it. Too much content killed my experience with Valhalla so I'd rather not go through that again.

Why is that? Because Yasuke is a samurai? Then check out the Nioh Series, which is developed by a Japanese studio who has Yasuke portrayed as a samurai. Stop jumping on the hate bandwagon blindly.

Yasuke was *not* a samurai according to feudal Japanese scholars, and Nioh isn't even about Yasuke. Nioh is about Irishman William Adams, considered the first European to become a samurai. You're thinking of Samurai Champloo, which is about Yasuke, but unlike Shadows, which is trying to paint it as historically accurate, Samurai Champloo doesn't even hide the fact it's over the top. You might not like that Yasuke wasn't a samurai, but pretending he was a samurai would be like pretending 9/11 didn't happen and the ramifications for our country don't exist.

Just because the Japanese develop a game that doesn't include one of their own people as a samurai doesn't mean they already have the amount of representation they ask for. Take Onimusha, for example. In the series, you play as a samurai in 16th century Japan fighting demons, and the series was developed by Capcom, which is a Japanese company. And it's also the fact that Ubisoft is blatantly obviously doubling down on the fact they didn't actually do their research and are trying to thinly veil their own sense of greed as progressiveness. Ghost of Tsushima was developed by Sucker Punch, the same studio behind the Infamous series, and they actually did their research.
