The best thing about how Norm went about his cancer, isn't that he told no one, which is bad ass, but he made himself laugh knowing unwittingly friends were apart of the joke. Fucking legend.

This was one of the sadder tributes to Norm. Only Colin knew him and the other three prove that they were only minor fans and don't know what they're talking about
In the past, he has said he doesn’t like doing podcasts, but he has been in comedy forever, and has good stories & anecdotes. Recently, he’s made the rounds, and in the right setting (like this one), we get to hear some great conversations about the environment business. He also seems to be down to earth, and just a normal dude. His reluctance to over share, or even consider himself a celebrity, is why he’s held in high regard by other comics, and the fans of this type of content.
If you enjoyed this I’d recommend listening to Colin’s appearances on Opie and Anthony. He kills with Norton and Patrice. There’s even an episode with Colin and Norm on O and A although it’s pretty short (like half an hour)
@@Frank7489 Thanks for the recommendations. Luckily, we get to revisit some of those great guest appearances, especially the comics they had on regularly. A lot of hilarious conversations that went with them just being themselves. I’m from Baltimore, and during those prime O&A years, I was listening to Don & Mike. I only knew about O&A from the minor beef those shows had. Several years ago, and especially during the pandemic, I started listening to the O&A stuff on yt. 1:10 I agree with Mark on this one. I think when death is that close, you are not really thinking about pranks. You would be thinking more about deceiving yourself into believing that everything will be fine. But with Norm, you really never know. :D He made so many jokes about death and mortality, he may really meant this as a prank.
I think Adam Eget told a story on Matt and Shane's podcast that Norm went to Bob Dylan's house one night and they stayed up all night talking. Really makes you wonder if the guy had a doghouse.
