The Vine Grapple and Rhythm Badges are my favorites because they add a unique layer of depth to the gameplay that isn’t just making the game easier in a simple way.
The boost spin jump is the most useful, but I think the jet run is the most entertaining. It’s so fun to breeze through levels, and trying to beat hard levels (like world 2’s special world level), it can be SO fun to pull it off.
This was a really entertaining video, well done! Just 1 thing of note, dunno if it would factor into anything, but the Fast Run Badge nullifies Sand and some other effects, so you can walk and run faster on those elements, can occasionally come in handy in those areas.

I Think spin jump is the deserving of a solo S Tier because I use it all of the time and having that extra jump like you said in the video is it is very versatile and one of the stages Piranha plants on parade it is so helpful to find the secret exit because I cannot seem to find the secret exit until I equipped the badge. And I use it in almost if not every single stage I play. It is so useful and versatile in its ability.
My favorite is gliding cap due to how early you get it, it's versatility both vertically near walls and horizontally, and due to the fact that you can spam it to go farther. It's mid air spin but you're sacrificing vertical coverage for horizontal

The all drill badge makes "the final test wonder gauntlet" so much easier because, if you crouch at the front of the pipe at the start with the drill, you cant get hit, and the burrowing is really useful too
Personally, my S tier includes Boosting Spin Jump, Floating High Jump, and Parachute Cap in that order. Those three badges are almost always going to be a player's main go-to badge because their effects (double jump, higher and further jumps, and gliding) break almost all levels over the knee.
For me it’s the wall climb badge (not sure if I even unlocked spin boost yet), as I’m a chronic underjumper and often jump to against the side of platforms, just centimeters away from making it on top of them. Maybe the boost badge will help with that too, I dunno. I’ll have to try it out.
I 100% the game just today and all thanks to the boost spin jump badge (aka the spin from Mario Galaxy, another reason behind my love for it). It is just so good.

Personally if I did a ranking of wonder effects I’d put the dragons coming alive, top-down perspective and Ninji Jump Party at the top, and then I’d put Piranha Plants on Parade, Jump/Climb to the Beat and the quiz at the bottom. (The quiz was a good idea, it’s just way too easy!)
I agree that the spin jump basically makes all other jump height badges obsolete. Especially if they don't recharge on a wall jump. The spin boost, vine grab, and cap glide (and maybe fast run) are the only orange badges worth using.

4:10 can't i just point out how bad of an argument it is, like you ONLY unlock the badge when you BEAT THE GAME and unlock it from the poplin shop, at that point, you probally allready mastered other power-ups, and i find even drill being better than this, and even auto-super mushroom is helpfull in the bonus world sometimes, while there is no point on using the fire flower badge over any other power-up badge.

I didn't use the Sensor badge a single time until after I 100% completed the game. I did watch some RUclips videos to help find some collectibles/secret exits I struggled with finding, though.

I'd say spin jump is obviously the most powerful, with parachute cap and floating high jump right behind it, but the most *fun* badges are grappling vine, jet run, and spring feet. Spring feet kind of sucks to play through most levels with, but the badge challenges for it were some of my favorite in the whole game. Also, grappling vine makes the most fundamental change to how you play, which I find really fun, especially in vertical, tower-style levels
you can use the bubble suit to clear the timer switch climb in world three without hitting the timer switches, and you don’t even need a badge. i believe you can also use bubble ladders to beat the world two special stage without needing the platforms
Did you know that you can actually climb walls with the grappling vine badge basically you just spam R and hold the joystick in the direction of the wall you can climb it infinitely
The sensor badge would be better if the objects were more hidden, i feel like they wanted to make 10-coins and some wonder seeds harder to get, and not harder to find. That doesnt mean its bad, but i really didnt use it much in my journey to 100%.
i hope if super mario bros wonder have dlc to make more badges like make one call super jump to make renfrence to smash bros make mario jump more high than other badges

I have been using it until the end of W2 (fluff puff peaks) now I only use safety bounce which allows you to jump out of poison lava and pits

Tip for the invisible badge if you want to see yourself more easily place a standee or emote this will help the player know where they are.

Really? The Purple 10-Coins tell you which third of the level they're in. The only really difficult alt exit was World 1-2.

Me too. The only time I used it was in Fungi Mines with the false exit, and only because the poplin told me to.

Dude the drill allows you to skip many sections in the game by running underground and you can borrow in the ceiling as well

Jet allows you to run mid air for a brief moment. You can jump midair during this.

I think crouch high jump could be higher since it works well on slopes and with the drill
I completed the game 100% and I didn’t even use the sensor badge once. I felt like that’s cheating
