I'm not entirely sure but the hub world glitch (2:33) may have been useable, there's an alternate version of it where you have player two reach a flagpole before player one to make the camera follow them on the overworld instead of p1. Then you do the clip and swap back to one player, selecting whatever character player two was. This warps you to wherever player 2 was, in this case allowing you to explore out of bounds while the camera follows you.
Same, both from a dangan fan perspective and as a viewer because I think it helps set the tone. The moments where the run may be in jeopardy feel more tense, and using investigation music to explain game mechanics/glitches works really well.

At 8:10 doing the three player strat in Rabbird cove wasn't the only option. If you go OOB with P1 instead of P2 you can reach the Island, switch to one player, and walk across the edge of the Island till you reach either Dolphin 2 or Wiggler race, skipping Bluebird aswell.

I discovered a bubble jump that allows you to go directly up with spin jump badge. 1. Shoot bubble 2. Shoot bubble otherway than midair spin jump (using badge) to get onto it. 3. Rinse and repeat
it’s weird how I never see anyone doing the bubble flower strat with spinjumps. It doesn’t involve timing and it’s way easier: you shoot a first bubble and then you spin jump onto it;spinjumping makes you shoot another bubble for you to land on and so on. But i get that it’s less precise when you have to fit in small gaps or when there’s a ceiling.
There's also a trick you can do to infinitely bubble jump with boosting spin jump, where you never gain height. That in particular is very difficult because it's a lot of rapid tight timings, but it is doable and Boneyard Dragon level in world 6 should be possible with that
This feels like the Super Mario Bros. Wonder edition of the Super Mario 64 DS No Mario Challenge. So many out of bounds glitches required to reach the areas he showed us. The Super Mario Bros. Wonder Backwards Challenge may not actually be possible, but my goodness did Nathaniel make each and every exploit count.

Another idea for the sharp trial in world 3 You could use multi-player equip the elephant bade (or any other power up badge) And give every player a power up and when your one hit use the multiplayers for their item!
Props to Nathaniel for trying this glitch for what seems like hours just to 'attempt' to bypass one level and then glitch the game multiple times only for it to not be possible 😢😢
Bouncing on a bubble replenishes safety bounce, meaning you can blow a bubble right after you bounce of the ground, bounce off it, and repeat without gaining height.
The reason why that game over did that was because when you get a game over you get sent back to the world you are on which in this case was World 4, but because you didn't technically enter the world, it loaded the cutscene.

You have to make sure that luigi has the crown, so when you would change to one player, it will spawn you to the person who has the crown. Mario had the crown, so you respawned to mario.
Here’s a fun fact: you can beat the world 1 special level without touching a hoppo. You use rising spin jump and a drill mushroom to get to the platforms and to go on the ceiling to get to the end. This was actually how I beat the level. I think the high jump would also work
Just yesterday I started working on beating Mario wonder with my feet. I’ve done mountaineering and I thought I was done, I can’t hit dash and jump with my feet, jet run isn’t unlocked till after, but thank god at some point even though I lost wiggler just let me go on, and he gave me the auto sup badge

I just want to say good job on the challenge! I noticed that at 12:58 that you used the bubble flower, from what I can assume to be your item reserve. Typically, items from outside levels aren't allowed in badge challenges. I can assume that this may be a side effect of the backwards challenge. But like I said, good job on the challenge!
With how many exploits happened during this challenge, the delay makes sense. It’s interesting how the badges and multiplayer ghost strats had a big impact on how many levels were able to be beaten backwards.
bouncing on bubbles from the bubble powerup refresh the saftey bounce badge, so unless there are more obstacles in levels like the one at 27:10, you probably could have made it
At 30:27, when you get out of the pipe, were you using the Safety Bounce Badge? You may be able to get bounced out of the lava and complete the level after if you do that.
I’m pretty late to this, but I believe the Blewbird level’s issue is moreso due to the level existing on a path. If levels not accessible were not loaded in properly, then the trick to circumvent certain pathway clears wouldn’t work. The level may be in a different state because it’s on a path, but I find it more likely that the path being open is what it’s checking for and your character isn’t on the path
