This is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted and SO EASY to make (and I definitely don't have the green thumb of cooking). We're having it for dinner tonight actually..
Oh snap…Today is Tuesday. Thats means tacos for dinner….even though I had tacos for breakfast yesterday. Tacos Tuesday should just be changed to Taco-Everyday!
Outstanding, wish I had a food processor. A personal thing, I think I would chop the shrimp a bit smaller just to fit in the tort a bit better?? I think I'll borrow a processor and make up a batch so I can serve this when I have friends over.
I am going to make this tonight. I printed the recipe the other day and when I was making the adobo verde there was no amounts given for the salt. I had to watch the video again. Also the video does not mention adding water to the adobo before using. I really wish everything was consistent.
That looks terrific. Hey can the adobe verde be frozen? You mentioned it can last for a few months, so do you mean just in the refrigerator or to freeze it?
+Matthew Michel So many! Toss with pasta (and a little Mexican queso añejo), mix into eggs before scrambling, mix intosour cream for a dip, whisk into simple vinaigrette, smear over roasted or grilled vegetables, mix with sashimi-grade raw fish and lime juice for instant ceviche!!
You have a quickie home run with this one Rick! I am SO doing this.
This recipe is the best! easier than it looks to make, and yes the Queso fresco works well with it. Thanks Rick for taco tuesday.
Great recipe. Been watching your tv show since you were on PBS and bought one of your books ( '00 or '01). Thanks Rick.

Thanks Rick, we love your work!
I'm Mexican and love your videos!
AWESOME. As usual I use habanero because I like the heat.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, it must be awesome to be the camera crew for a cooking show. You get feast after you shoot every episode.
+Chase Williams I can assure you, they love it!
Super 👌
Buenissimo.
Maybe I'm weird, but I like curly leaf parsley.
Delicious 😋
is this similar to the green sauce that is sold by frontera fiesta with your picture on the back in target?
love the seafood! more seafood please! :-0
What size skillet when cooking for one?

+Trevor Marty It'll last for a few months in the fridge!
Cool, thank you.
Do you have any other suggested uses for the extra adobo verde, Chef?

do it matter what should we get Shrek
All great, but shrimp and dairy; not my cup of café con leche.
