Marianna Soronevych from Ucraina

We met Marianna and asked her to tell us how was her arrival in Italy and hard has been the effort of reinventing her own life.
Mariana left her country, Ukraine, about 10 years ago, when the economic crisis and the difficulties in finding a job did not encourage young people to project there their own future. Why did you choose Italy, though you couldn't speak the language and didn't know the culture? Because she was sure she would have found there a network of friends and compatriots ready to help her.
And so it was. With the help and solidarity she could start a new life and now works as a journalist and a teacher. Her mission is trying to help migrants, especially people coming from her country, to integrate in a different culture
