Downloaded this today for the first time. Wife was beating me so i called in for backup! Completed it first attempt after learning not to swipe up once the big tile is in the corner. Game ended at 32940 and the wife is left speechless! Excellent strategy! Bravo!!!!!

I’ve gotten 2048 several times, but it gets more difficult to get to the bigger numbers after that. It seems to require more space. I finally got 2048, and 1024 in one game until I lost my corner. You know it’s only a matter of moves until the game is over after that. Hard recovery from there with such big numbers in the mix. At least, I beat my top score finally! I started from a bigger field, 5x5, straight away, don't try that, 5x5 and bigger fields are auto-solving, got way over 2048 just doing hundreds of clockwise moves.
Made many mistakes and try and look ahead to prevent having to move up or lose your bottom row. My speedruns also contain mistakes but they are mostly because speedrunners play predictively and for speed.
70000÷ ... just passed up my old record of 60000+. My typical Errors were these. SLOW DOWN. I play on a Tesla screen. It really pisses you off when a 40000+ and you reach for the screen and contact it unexpectly pushing the tiles in the wrong direction ... game over. Or you get in a rhythm and suddenly you are looking at three full rows with UP being the only option. 3 hours of play over 3 days of play down the tubes. Then the obvious stuff. BUILD WINDY ROADS [4096 2048 1024 512 ... next row above backwards ... 256 128 64 32 ... ditto ... 16 8 4 2 ... with the next tile on the top row, a 2 or 4 doubling the 2 or 4 below and then collapse the wagon train to 8192 ... achieving my next goal of 100000+. ALWAYS WORK ON TO THE NEXT NUMBER IN THE WAGON TRAIN ... while avoiding a forced UP move. SLOW DOWN.
so, I've benn obsessed for days; and after watching the video I got 2048 and scored +31500... now I can rest in peace and never see this game again :')

If you just go up down left right up down left right up down left right up down left right, you usually get to about 512 before losing.
