Hey! Thanks for the video. Question: If I upload my work to writecheck to check my plagiarism score, will it be saved there? If it does, doesn't it then mean that once the moderator runs it through turnitin, it will say 100% plagiarism?
My question is since our files in their database now, once the examiners upload our files wont it show 100% similarity because the file is already in their databases and then we'd get like failed cuz of malpractice?
Turn it in is like so ugly today I got my report back and it says that I have 51% of similarity to students paper which means that my work has 51% similar to how students wrote so isn’t that mean that I’m a normal student and I can tell you for sure that I wrote the entire thing by myself
Your teacher should give you a sign in to their website. If you are talking about writecheck, they have an online portal that you can upload your assignment in.
I wouldn’t necessarily compare plagiarism to murder. They’re the exact opposite!! I mean yes, they both have consequences, but plagiarism isn’t as much of a severe punishment as murder in my opinion. You know how many college/high school students admitted to plagiarizing?! Hundreds of thousands!! So, don’t really use this example as a scare rhetoric to other people!

From what I understand, it goes on the database. Though I have heard some teachers say that they can control whether it goes on the database.

Not quite plagiarism is a murderer of IB diploma not a real human. And only in EE (extended essay) and TOK
