- After spending the past winter with terrible vision at night, I went ahead and got some new headlights for the Peterbilt! This is just one step towards my final vision for the truck. Join me as we go through and pretty up the truck!
2006 Peterbilt 379
CAT C15 650hp
Personally I like the double squares for the original 379 hehe
(which is why my favorite longhood trucks are the 379 and W9)
It's better to be able to see then be "original".

Agreed double squares are sharp
Same I also like the double squares more I think some aftermarket ones would've looked awesome.
@@seanmcguire6011 I have seen some people put LED bulbs into the squares, those look pretty nice.

Turned out good, sets you apart from some of the others. Had to laugh when you went to pull out and the pickup was in your turning radius, you can never win.
Worst part is it’s my own pickup! 😂
@thronic They don’t push with the rear axle unless you flick the axle lock toggle. Also not for highway applications, mainly for getting under or out from trailers or situations like you saw.

oh man! 73' model headlamps!! gifting hot water power washer!! & mr.clean!! the first one to wear coveralls!💫 yup, I knew it..took a bath in it!!
Save those drill bits, Matt! Princess Auto sells a drillbit sharpener the chucks onto your drill. You use the drills power to turn the inside grinding stone and the unit has a guide so you can't screw up the angle of the bit when sharpening. It's a slick unit and works great and I think it was only 4 or 5 dollars!
I like so much round lights on every vehicle.. bicycles, motorcycles, cars etc.
You can buy the headlight buckets from an automotive store .
I love my Hella H4 headlights. It gives a real nice cats eye pattern so the right side raises to light up signs on the right side first as you approach them and they are brighter than the crappy stock headlights.
Makes driving at night so much fun!
Looks good buddy. I especially like the signal lights mounted on the fender like they used to be.
Just missing clearance lights on the mirrors. I don’t know why they stopped that.
Love watching a truck coming down the road at dusk or dawn with the amber lights on.
You had cool neighbors, they kept looking but you got it done!
Huge change on the polishing and those head lights are way cooler, suits you 😎

I just spent 41 minutes watching another O/O work on his truck and enjoyed it. Good vids always man, I really dig your no big ego attitude towards our profession. Too many guys floating around on YT, limited experience and the boss gave them a large car and now their heads don't fit through the door, or they are in the industry a few yrs, bought a 30 yr old truck and think they are 30 yr veterans, 😂. Your vibe is enjoyable, whether you're driving or not, stay safe brother.

Hey we are working turn signal but not marker light buddys.. haha I gotta fix a couple marker lights on my vic on the right side, but the signal is still working so I haven't bothered yet .. Damn that robby screw must've been nearly a mile long! lmao dude your face is graphite colour "probably should've wore a mask" he says LOL .. It's looking pretty good, I like those round lights on there, it looks a lot more old school hot rod-ish .. and I like the look of the double J brackets much better. the big plate behind the square lights seemed a bit unnecessary. Great video , I like how in depth it was showing everything.
