Her: "Her royal Highness" My brain, instantly jumping to red white & royal blue: "His royal Horniness" A big THANK YOU to Alex & Henry for ruining my brain
It was actually your vlog of Red White and Royal Blue what made me find you channel so it's always nice to have more books like that to read. Also, I relate so much in what you said about it and Cassie's books are definetely my favs
Call me by your name by Andre Aciman. They both die at the end, What if it's us by Adam Silvera, Heartstopper(comic) by Alice Oseman, Fence(comic) by Cs Pacat, Bloom(Comic)by kevin Panetta are also great gay books to read. The brutal truth, breaking character, shattered, a change in script, hotel queens, red files by Lee winter are great lesbian novels.
I loved Her Royal Highness!! I honestly had no idea there was a first book in the series until I was already halfway through it. You def don’t need to read the first book to read this one. So good!!!
Books You Mentioned: Read: I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver [5/5 stars, read it last year] Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston [5/5 stars, read it this year] Not Read [And The Reason Why]: Her Royal Highness [I'm gonna read the first book first which the library I go to has a copy of when it was called Royals] Crier's War [I forgot that book existed.] Cinderella Is Dead [Placed a hold on it] A Blade So Black [Haven't read Alice's Adventures In Wonderland] Girl, Serpent, Thorn [It isn't on my tbr atm.] Who I Was With Her [I forgot about that book.] Felix Ever After [It's on my TBR.] You Should See Me In A Crown [It's on my TBR.] Darius The Great Is Not Okay [Haven't heard of that book till now.] Chain Of Gold [I'm reading the books in publication order so the next book I'm reading is The Bane Chronicles.] My Recommendations Of Books You Didn't Mention [I tried to sum up the stories as best as I could.]: Nemesis Duology (Dreadnought & Sovereign) by April Daniels [It's about a trans lesbian superhero.] The Miseducation Of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth [A coming of age queer story that takes place in the 90s] Patience & Sarah by Isabel Miller [2 Girls Fall In Love In The 19th Century] Lily and Dunkin by Donna Gephart [A middle grade story about a trans girl and a boy with bipolar disorder.] Girl Mans Up by M-E Girard [Pen is a girl who is bullied for being herself and has to learn to stick up for herself.] Stranger Than Fanfiction by Chris Colfer [A road trip story about discovery, the power of empathy and the unbreakable bond of true friendship.] & Boy Erased by Garrard Conley [A memoir about a guy who had to go to gay conversion therapy.]
can literally anyone, everyone recommend a book/series/film/show anything that is ab a romance between two characters (preferably queer) that has you literally holding your breath until the very last second? i want close encounters, i want denial, i want hands skimming and blushing deeper than a fire hydrant and infectious smiles and the "OH MY GOD JUST KISS ALREADY" vibes. anything ranging from cute and nerve racking to the kind of sensual that breeds butterflies and shivers down your spine. i just finished watching Young Royals and i need more please i'm on my knees begging🙏
I recommend Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender. it's about the journey of a trans person of colour. it has lots of ups and downs and there's a lot of drama. definitely 10/10.
I loved Red white and royal blue... It was everything I normally don't like with the politics being so high focused but it's impossible not to love this book and characters
My favorite LGBTQIA+ book is “Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda” yes it’s cliché but I just love it so much and it warms my heart, loved the vid Peyton!
Hey Peyton, I was just wondering out of all the books you ever read who is your favourite character? Mine is probably Annabeth Chase or Finnick Odair! LOve your videos so much xxx (It would be so cool if you did a tier ranking of some top characters in all the book series, I love all your tier ranking ones especially hunger games characters)!
I would recommend "One Last Stop" also by Casey McQuiston- a genius writer. It's a wlw story and it is absolutely fantastic. I love it to pieces. (also: MALEC YASSSS I LOVE THEM MORE THAN ANYTHING INCLUDING MYSELF! and I just got the new collectors edition of RWARB and I am so happy its adorable its my fave book ever I have two copies I am in love)
I've heard that Cinderella is Dead has some pretty gross attitudes towards being closeted, which makes me hesitant to pick it up. But a lot of these books sound great (and a few were already on my tbr), I'll have to look into them.
Loved Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston and I absolutely adore I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver, it was the first ever book I read with a nonbinary main character, and being nb myself, it was really important to me. That being said, if you enjoyed that book you might also want to read Can’t Take That Away by Steven Salvatore, which is about a genderqueer teenager fighting for their rights, a great story about activism and being true to oneself, and Cemetary Boys by Aiden Thomas, which is about a gay latino trans teen trying to prove his place in his brujx community (did I mention the fantasy and ghosts aspect of this book? Stunning!) and falling in love along the way. Both books are own voices, to my knowledge.
I love that book too! lol Red, White, and Royal Blue 💙 I read it a second time right after finnishing it, cause I wanted to go thru the whole story again. I was waiting for the romance to begin, and it when it finally happened, I was hooked into it. It took me like three sittings to finnish the book. I was hesistant cause of the political things involved prior to getting it, but it wasn't that confusing to me. The writing in the beginning for me was a little difficult tbh, only cause I had just finnished reading another book minutes before, Him by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy, and the style and vocab are very different. It took me a little while to adjust but was worth the strain. Lol I was literally reading it slower than usual, and as I progressed, started to speed up. I also recommend that book I mentioned. The intimate scenes might seem a little lewd maybe? Someone other book-tuber mentioned it was lewd lol it kinda is a little graphic ngl. It was really cute though too, if you haven't read it. I had just got the sequel to that as well, and will start that one after im done reading another book, Boyfriend Material lol... RWARB has weirdly raised my interest in British culture. Lol that's why I got the BM book. Hope it's good. Also, loved your reviews on the books! I haven't read any of the other ones except the obvious one. Cool beans 😁 will check in on any other mm romance recs you have. Thank you for the review. Hope you're happy and healthy during covid 🙃
I’m going down the rabbit hole of book recommendations on RUclips looking for lgbtq books that I can read at school and that my mom wouldn’t find inappropriate.
I read Felix Ever After because of you mentioning in previous videos, and I loved it! If you're ever looking for another really cute book to read Check, Please! by Ngozi Ukazu was really good.
I'm bisexual, and I've never herd queer being used as a slur or insult. A lot of people identify as queer, I don't get the problem. Could you please explain
@@helenahaaland1424 it's been used as an insult for lgbt people for centuries. I know lots of people have reclaimed it but most people still consider it a slur, including myself.

Not to be rude, but if you're not in the lgbt community, please don't say queer. It's a slur. Anyway great video love the books
