Infinite daedric arrows from the dremora merchant. Best damn thing. He's always got at least 7 or 8 arrows on him and he restocks every other day so you can get as many arrows as you need.
Same, and since I play ranged/spell characters as often as melee characters, that puts me off from the whole idea of companions. And when I do play melee, my companion seems to prefer shooting me in the back to actually hitting the enemy...
One of my characters is married to Onmund the other character is with Marcurio. Both companion's seem to be in love with the chain lightning spell. I use then as batteries since I have the Atronach stone and alteration perk too
"...you might be a virtual hoarder" Stop judging me! I can quit any time I want. So what if I have all this raw food sitting on the floor, or a pile of ingots on my bed, or all these dragon bones and scales I'll TOTALLY make into armor one day...probably. Let alone the containers of infinite carry weight all over the house that's filled with every bit of junk I stole from all the houses in town, and every OTHER town and city in Skyrim.
Even if you are a virtual hoarder, you won't need the butler because if you're in a dungeon, just put all your stuff in a container and remember which container and where it is before you leave, with that, if you're outside, just summon Arvak, then go to your home. Also you can use Whirlwind Sprint, power attack exploit to power attack then sheath to keep your Stamina, and such for the times inbetween, so yeah... Pretty much even as a "virtual hoarder", the butler has no use... Heck, if you're rich, just sell your stuff to the merchant, get to your house, then buy it back before he changes his inventory if you want to do that.
Yeah I COULD drop all this extra armor, but what if I want to change my look? Walk all the way home? Ya right. All these books and notes? What if I need one later!? Ingredients? I'm just going to have to find them again later when I make something, Like I probably will. Soon. Maybe. Probably not, but possibly!
I did this and I immediately became the ruler of the prison. Nothing is stopping you from just waltzing out. As if bound blade and iron flesh wasn't strong enough, I had a whole set of ebony on that butler.
@@pikaku42069 same my guy. But the cidina mine one is a fun quest to do, which you can mitigate my using bound weapons and the skin hardening spells anyways, but the butler would be useful in that quest like they were talking about lol.
That moment when you sell 1 item to the dremora merchant for 2k gold and realize his gold refreshes at the same rate as every other vendor in the game and you know you have made the wrong decision.
Still, mages have extremely limited damage dealing spells that don't threaten their melee allies. In vanilla, it's just Ice Shard, Firebolt, Lightning Bolt, and the cloak spells (which don't say they're selective but will only damage attacking enemies, despite everyone around Skyrim saying they look dangerous). Runes deal area damage even to the caster, the adept spells all deal area damage, and the expert spells are either extra-concentrated novice spells (which do area damage that has to be controlled) or throw walls of fire and ice all over the room, damaging anything that crosses it. And that isn't even counting the master spells, which I haven't used in ages and have only used once or twice anyway because impact is just so OP. Mods like the Lost Grimoire add a few more selections but mages are still extremely limited in safe options. Even using Conjuration for damage dealing isn't entirely safe, as atronachs who cast spells can still shoot companions in the back. I try really hard not to hit my companions, but their AI has them dancing back and forth in between me and the enemy and I hit them anyway. Because of this, I almost NEVER bring a companion, and find it tedious when I'm forced to, such as during Dawnguard. But at least in that case, she can never die, and my biggest worry is her AI bugging out and making her wait somewhere without warning. So this perk is a much needed ability that makes companions actually viable for the robe-wearing spellcasting mages who really don't want to be face to face with danger.
Or my archer (companions keep running straight at the enemy and staying between me & them). Or my barbarian (area of effect, when using a power strike). #GoddammitLydia !!
For me the worst thing about followers is that they will engage in fights without you having the ability to make them stop. Sometimes you *don't* want to storm a whole fortress full of bandits just because one of them shot you with an arrow while you were passing by, but Lydia will have none of that shit, she'll take that whole damn fortress or die trying, goddammit.
@@smoovejl 2nded aft resolves this issue perfectly. Its always in my load order right next to run for your lives. Hopefully this is a feature set bethesda adds to es6.
15:18 companions insight because no follower understands the importance of staying hidden while picking enemies off at a distance and will instead rush after i loose the first arrow. They run in and get into the line of fire and sometimes they incidentally get in the way while they're in the middle of s power attack.
So much this. Sucks so much when sniping with Auriels bow (for the AoE DMG and undead explosion) when they're suddenly blown off a cliff because they don't understand HOW TO HUNT AELA! YOU ARE LITERALLY A HUNTRESS, BY TALOS WOMAN!
the unlimited magic has a glitch that can give you 100 in alteration in 5 seconds, quite literally using telekinesis and fast travel(there's a video on RUclips about it)
And even if you do not want to do that or it bugs, you can level up any school of magic you made legendary really fast. For instance illusion, go to the Retching Netch and use the master spells, you'll get 100 easily. Harder for conjuration and destruction I imagine, but not that much.
The butler can be really usefull when wanting to gather materials for smithing such as dwemer scraps and ore. Also being able to switch out gear for different playstyles whenever you please can be nice
Especially useful for hybrid builds or enchanted items for special occasions. For example I have armour and jewlery that I wear specifically for crafting. I think the butler is most useful for mages and hybrid mage builds who don't have a lot of stamina and find followers to be a liability. Like an illusion assasain. The butler has his specific niches that I use because of the charchters I play.
I just use the Realm Poltar from Ordinator’s alteration perk for gathering farmer stuff! I get like 700 weight worth of some, then teleport back to my house.
bruh, the butler was the only black book power I was actually pleased to get out of anything in all the books, having a bonus follower inventory that can't get lost is excellent since I love to foist unique or last gen weapons and armor onto my follower to maximize their battle potential as well as those things being generally the heaviest items in my inventory, meaning they fill up fast with very few items so as I collect books or food or ingredients or ores they can barely take anything and my inventory is regularly sitting at over 70% full at best meanwhile with the dremora butler I can foist pretty much the entirety of the next heaviest category onto him and dramatically decrease my overall encumberance while still ensuring my follower is relatively optimized
@@GoldenSunAlex Haven't gotten to the Butler but, I imagine that the Butler would be more handy anyway. Especially due to most times you are selling to a Merchant you are going to buy from. Of course I do wish you could legitimately get both the Merchant and Butler through a conjuration spell as not only would that make sense but the drum seems out of place when compared to those options. Oh yeah I just checked. The Merchant is naturally disadvantages the player and you can't sell stolen items unless if you have the fence perk. 😂 "The Dremora Merchant buys items from the player for 9% less than normal merchants and sells for 25% more if player does not have Haggling Perk Rank 2 or higher."
The Sallow Regent is the best book for crafting specialists. The 10% bonus stacks as you make stronger potions, better Fortify Alchemy gear, and better Fortify Smithing gear and potions. Just make sure you switch the bonus - Seeker of Might, Sorcery or Shadow, to the appropriate bonus for the crafting skill you're currently using while in Solstheim.
Very nice breakdown. Now to go find Untold Legends! But first, I think I would have broken Untold Legends into two separate books. One book would summon the following: Dramora Merchant Dramora Smith that sells supplies and brings an entire smithing workshop (Smelter, Anvil, Workbench, and Grindstone) Dramora Mage that sells supplies and brings an Enchanting Table and Alchemic Lab The other would summon the following: Bardic Drum, 300 second 150% stamina regen boost Bardic Lute, 300 second 150% health regen boost Bardic Flute, 300 second 150% magica regen boost
The problem with the merchant is that while 2000 gold sounds like a lot, for my level 75+ character that was always obtaining super expensive gear and has about 50% price reduction with enchantments, I would end up selling 2 or 3 ebony weapons for all his money and I would still be over encumbered. With the butler however having an extra 200 carry weight means you can do an extra quest or two before having to go and sell everything.
Claude Alpha 2000 gold is terrible but so is 200 carry weight. I still usually get the merchant because it also sells things but by the time get it I usually have daedric armor already.
That jail breaking trick sounds awesome, especially if you have a mod that lets you break locks with your weapon, just suit up and surprise everyone by breaking out wearing your heavy backup gear and slaughter everyone.
Jailbreak build only needs one item in the vanilla game: The Skeleton Key, an unbreakable lockpick that's also a quest item, guards can't take it off you when they jail you
On the other hand, you *can* use him to equip stuff while transforming. If I recall correctly, using him to equip the ebony mail while becoming a werewolf, it gives you a really cool appearance. Here, I found the build from tamriel vault where I saw this, a while ago. www.tamrielvault.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/3/topic_id/3375?mobile=1
Companion's Insight is actually extremely useful. If you're playing a mage and have lots of area-of-effect spells like Fireball, Ice Storm, or the master spells, it is much better in my opinion to be able to cast them with reckless abandon. For my very first vanilla playthrough in which I played a pure mage until my skills reached the point that I became a jack of all trades, I ended up forgoing followers entirely and used summons instead through much of the playthrough because they got in the way of my AoE spells more than they helped. This choice can help those characters get their followers back.
I thought of another pretty cool use for the butler. There's a power that lets you reset your skills, so what about a master of all trades build. You summon the butler to switch out gear to essentially change your build for different situations.
you may not know this but you can use the black book power secret of the arcane found in kolbjorn barrow to remove spell cost for a limited time to level up quickly and infinitely, if you start casting spells with a spray effect e.g flames, sparks, frostbite, even after the power wears off along as you haven't stopped casting the spell remains active at no magicka cost if you do this with telekinesis just holding any item you will level up alteration incredibly fast and once you get to level 100 you can if you have the legendary edition reset alteration to level 15 edit: i just checked the wiki and this is what it says "Once this power is activated, it is possible to cast any "streaming effect" spell, such as Healing or Wall of Storms, infinitely by activating such a spell and never releasing it. This enables said spells to be cast with no magicka for longer than the power's described "30 seconds." This is very useful for leveling up magic skills. An easy way to do Alteration is put a book on a bookshelf and activate Secret of Arcana, next use telekinesis on the book and do not let go, this will result in a never ending telekinesis spell that will quickly rank you up"
Bemused Dinosaur. Black Book: Filament and Filigree Found in Kolbjorn Barrow during the quest "Unearthed." Secret of Arcana: Spells do not drain magicka for 30 seconds.
Awesome video do you have any starter/beginner guides for a first play through of Morrowind. I’ve had it for awhile and decided to play through it. I searched RUclips but was hoping my favourites knew where to begin :). I have a dark elf character at the moment and only at the start area and so overwhelmed (more than Skyrim) Lol:) thank you so much again.
Listen up, tip from someone who's beaten the game, once you reach balmora (the first town you go to after leaving the starter town of sedya neen) and have the gold, head straight for the balmora temple and purchase the "Mark" and "Recall" spells from the 2 npcs in the basement, they stand right across from eachother cant miss them, these 2 mysticism spells are your friends. Simply cast mark to mark a location, and cast recall to return there at any time. This is one of the games only method of teleportation fast travel that doesn't require you to be in the mages guild.
companion's insight can be really useful for shouts like storm call, which indiscriminately wrecks practically everything within what might as well be a mile from the player. This way one of the most fun shouts in the game doesn't also kill your companions.
The Sallow Regent is my favorite black book for crafting. Being able to make the most powerful enchantments in the game is great for pretty much any character build, except for those that don't craft anything. It's possible to make Fortify Enchanting potions up to 44% (with the Unofficial Patch) with the relevant perks in Alchemy and Enchanting, and combined with Ahzidal's Genius and Seeker of Sorcery, it's possible to make enchantments over 60% more powerful than other means. For example: a Fortify Health enchantment with a grand soul, 100 Enchanting, and all perks gives 62 extra health, but with the 44% potion, Ahzidal's Genius, and Seeker of Sorcery, that goes up to 103 extra health. Not to mention the usefulness with other enchantments, like +67% One-Handed, +33% Magic Resistance, and -41% casting cost per school of magic FOR EACH ENCHANTING SLOT, for up to 12 slots available on your character (14 if you use a shield).
"bravo bravo", What a good video bro you really have explained everything in the best way that someone can understand Thank you very much, tremendous video
The black book that has the Dremora Butler - whatever it’s specifically called - is my favorite power. If I try to get too much weight on me at a time that slows my walking, I usually give a good amount of the items weighing me down to it, then go to one of my home destinations and put up whatever I want.
Josh Parsons the last dragon born becomes a servant of hermaeus mora, I'm fairly sure it's canon . It happens with every protagonist of the elder Scrolls games. It's Bethesda's own lazy way of reducing complications in the story for the next game.
Vish Wah/Josh Parsons, I'm fairly certain that the Last Dragonborn likely became Mora's servant like Miraak before them, oh and Josh, the Dragonborn only got out because Mora *allowed it* , meaning Mora is confident that the Dragonborn will soon be lured back into Apocrypha, the ending proves that Mora could have easily killed the Dragonborn with absolutely zero effort since it was his realm (Just ask Miraak). I'm also fairly certain that since Mora has knowledge from the Past, Present and *Future* that he knows what's in store for the Dragonborn
Jargon Madjin this... Makes a lot of sense. I'm just used to considering my character to be stronger than the princes. I always use the smart ass awnsers, even clavicus vile says that you have as much power as him.
You make absolutely incredible content. It makes me enjoy this game so much more. I think people like you help cultivate a community that most videogames do not have. Makes me even more excited for the next addition to the elderscrolls
Not sure if youd see this but they do. Might be aftet a month of in game days but i return using the filament and filagree black book every now and then to swap for the secret of arcana or champs insight and theres always 4+ lurkers
I'm the virtual hoarder I have almost every book the entire game Or that's the goal. The Butler is so great and he's he's so sassy it's adorable and I have like two people carrying my things and it's a thousand lb in loot so I don't have to go home.
Dremora butler. 2,000g isn't a lot, you also don't talk about how long it takes the store to reset and the fact it's not effected by the master trader/investor perks. May not be effected by the gender based discount perk, and book power you mention earlier either.
Speech is pretty easy to raise if you know where persuade/intimidate checks are, sell stuff, etc. Especially if you rest beforehand and use the proper stone. You can even train. Items with 0 value can even level it, they don't give a huge amount but it's still something. Also if you gain a point, exit the store menu and enter it again, think there's a cap on exp gain per transaction. You can always setup a speech check in Markarth, if you're going then buy a dwarven arrow and get a message from Calcelmo, when you go you can negotiate a better price.
Companion's Insight is necessary if you're doing a lighting mage build because Chain Lighting is amazing but will always hit your companion if you let them get ahead of you. Learned that one the hard way when I turn Brelyna extra crispy with it.
I just got Skyrim on the Xbox from my cousin, and as soon as I saw this video, I went straight to Solstheim and got the “Followers Insight” perk. Now my squishy wizard can hide behind Lydia and fire off explosions with impunity!
(yes, I know that the video ranked it pretty darn low, but it fits my play style. That’s one great thing about Skyrim, even the things that don’t seem to be that useful can work well in certain niche applications. I also love the Dramora Butler in Dwemer ruins, so I can Smith & sell a TON of Dwarven Bows)
Skyrim has been re-released so many times and is so popular that there are probably quite a few people that this helped. Also, its been closer to five years, but that's just nitpicking.
Combine Mora's Grasp with the Ritual Stone some time. Not only will the strongest enemy in the room not have any backup, those same weaker enemies will be YOUR backup when the chief/briarheart/other boss enemy is unfrozen.
I used the Butler while I was gathering items for building my houses (If you're going to build houses, Iron Ingots suddenly become the most important item in the game)
I love the Dremore Merchant because I can just buy daedric arrows from him :P Also the armor and weapons are very useful for getting enchantments and buying unenchanted gear, when I want to increase the enchantments on my armor. It also helps in training your speech if you got money to spend.
scholars insight is actually insane if you get it before you get the ogmha infinium as instead of 5 points to all skills in a tree you get 10, then swapping out to companion after :3
I made hundreds of potions and poisons, and use my servant to carry them to my next target. I don't worry so much about loot, and never need to worry about running out of potions or poisons.
Love these videos cos they make me really inspired and want to go back to Skyrim. One request though - more vanilla and new (not remastered though they are still very good) Skyrim builds pls. Keep up the good work!!
So if you're on a long quest and you need to lose inventory weight, you summon the merchant and sell. He runs out of gold pretty quickly and doesn't restore his gold like any other merchant. Once out of gold he is nearly pointless. If his gold refreshed everytime he was summoned, he would be the best.
The butler seems useful for a dedicated alchemist/staff user/scroll user type, save on inventory space, give it a field agent "right tool for every job" kind of feel. The selection process would add a Matrix white room vibe.
FollyOfArsinoe It's quite neat for sure. Especially the first time you play and at start you might not know what the hell you're doing and put perks into wrong perk tree like me in my first playthrough. I put some points into two handed but when I arrived in whiterun I decided to use one handed weapons. It's still useful in other playthroughs but then you know what perks to get and not to get so you wont put points into useless perks. But it's useful when you change your mind.
+Damn son where'd you find this I fashioned all the weapons and armor and enchanted all the items I planned to use and then dumped my enchanting and all my smithing perks and applied them to combat related perks. I have actually switched some things around a couple times, depending on what I want to do.
The fact that it's so hard to tell which of those powers is the best really shows good design/balance. All of them are at the very least great fun for some builds. As it should be.
Top work Michael! Witty comments, very good analysis of each powers from each books and just pure comment sense that we are accustomed to from you. Kudos! Keep it up!
Ah, tentacle porn. Back in my AD&D days, Edvard's Black Tentacles was almost always a total party wipe. Who wants to play a character who's been...romanced by a mass of black tentacles?
For Filement and filigree, get the secret of arcana. Then, get telekinesis. If you pick up and object with telekinesis, while having the secret of arcana activated, and fast travel to the opposite side of the map, you will get an absolutely INSANE amount of xp levels. (Also gives you 100 alteration) You can then legendary alteration and get free xp points. Hope this helps :P
I was about to say the same thing! This is probably the most useful power to get perk points to spend on any of your skills, no need to legendary anything else :P Oh and you don't need to travel across the map, Riften to Whiterun is far enough ^^
My Telekinesis leveling exploit involved: Aetherial Crown Mage Stone Lover Stone Telekinesis Spell Tome The ability to make skills Legendary I managed to get a level 81 this way, but your way seems more efficient
For the Butler in Cidhna Mine it's hard to justify in RP, it' useful but it's kind of a non first time playing, know what's coming next move. You know you are going to be arrested. Your character on the other hand. They expect to return to Eltrys. kind of they don't know whts going to happen so why give their get to the butler? A way arround it I guess could be to have him always carry a set of armour and a weapon. If you are making it yourself can be as good as your usual.. So your character is planning to always have access to a backup set of equipment. Also would help if you are disarmed ad can't find the weapon you were using. I hate when that happens lol.
My first black book was filament and filigree and I went with the Secret of Arcana. I use it to pump out Destruction or other utility spells without the hassle of manually restoring/regenerating mana. You can make good use of it with a 30 second duration, in spite of its one-a-day cast limit.
Secret of Arcana allowed me to assfuck Harkon so hard! Lightning storm hard, then bow, then get in close with Dawnbreaker/Auriel's Shield, etc. I also used the Hallowed arrows, so that made the bow do extra damage to the idiot. I also usually go with Companion's Insight because I like playing stealth archer magic mages with a bit of one handed and all three support skills plus light armor (a bit Marty Stu-ish, I know, but I've gotten good at pulling off the semi-Marty Stu approach)
@@lsswappedcessna Heheh, whenever I fast travel to a place and end up with a dragon encounter, I'm just like, "Welp, it's that time of day again." I click it on, use Slow Time for good measure, and start wailing on 'em. Good for normal encounters as well if it starts getting overwhelming, or if you just feel like being a bastard and toppling the helpless welps in front of you.
@@Mervle And then you come to other fun spells, like Telekinesis. I like hitting chickens from a rooftop and the village is always like "Who's there?!"
@@lsswappedcessna Oh yeah, I do remember messing with that spell as well when I first started playing. I also use destruction spells to shoot down birds. I was fumbling around in Solitude and ended up sniping a bunch of hawks with either ice spikes or lightning bolts. Wasn't short on cure disease potions, that's for certain.
@@Mervle Yeah, I normally play a barbarian with the occasional dipshit stealth archer so I use bows to down the birds. The few mages I've played shot the hawks with a conjured bow (storm mage archers are fun).
If you're using destruction primarily, companion's insight is quite good, especially if you have a companion who isn't ranged focused. And it works on other allies, such as atronochs, or raised dead. Which is great for anyone using the ritual stone.
I was reliefed as hell after I noticed that you can go bach to this dimension and simply change your decision. And that you get teleported right in front of the book and not at the beginning.
I beeline for Benkogerike and get Untold Legends. Dremora Merchant? Yes please! Most useful for unloading those heavy ass dragon bones immediately after slaying a dragon.
vynat draco pretty much the same here i keep my armor in the closet my weapons on a chest ingredient in another chest food in another one and the extra items like stuff like dragon bones ans stuff in another container 😂😂😂😂
I respect your opinion but secret of arcana is more useful because you can use dragon skin witch is better. But you need mastery of alteration. Yea i know. All you have to do is use secret of arcana and use telekinesis to pick something up and fast travel somewhere far then you get alteration 100 instantly and I have been working to figure out another way to level fast with this perk. So with secret of arcana you can use dragon skin then lightning Master spell and be safe while putting out tons of damage and it comes with the most powerful leveling system.
It should be noted that the enhanced frost shout freeze effect can be used to reverse/pickpocket anyone...shout once to do little damage on an npc,go into sneak mode and keep clicking the button until you gain access to their inventory, very useful on folowers if you want to equip them with lower level armors or clothes.
Max enchanting + restoration potion loop. There, super high stamina or have enchantments that make a destruction (or other) cost 0. Or increase one handed/two handed or insane damage enchantments.

companions insight is great for mages because if you use ice storm, fireball, chain lightning and others easily hurt your followers
William Graham I usually find that the master level lightning spell still harms allies and so does the Storm call shout
Its one of my favorites too but Storm Call still hurts your followers (Marcurio is well aware of this and has died multiple times)
Doesn’t work at all for me
Or my archer (companions keep running straight at the enemy and staying between me & them). Or my barbarian (area of effect, when using a power strike). #GoddammitLydia !!
I know I'm late to the party, but I actually really dislike having companions following me. They just get in the way and always screw me over.

Tancri .
I get like 700 weight worth of some, then teleport back to my house.
bruh, the butler was the only black book power I was actually pleased to get out of anything in all the books, having a bonus follower inventory that can't get lost is excellent since I love to foist unique or last gen weapons and armor onto my follower to maximize their battle potential as well as those things being generally the heaviest items in my inventory, meaning they fill up fast with very few items so as I collect books or food or ingredients or ores they can barely take anything and my inventory is regularly sitting at over 70% full at best
meanwhile with the dremora butler I can foist pretty much the entirety of the next heaviest category onto him and dramatically decrease my overall encumberance while still ensuring my follower is relatively optimized
This. I found Butler to be so useful. The merchant is near useless in my eyes since I always had more money than I knew what to do with.

One book would summon the following:
Dramora Merchant
Dramora Smith that sells supplies and brings an entire smithing workshop (Smelter, Anvil, Workbench, and Grindstone)
Dramora Mage that sells supplies and brings an Enchanting Table and Alchemic Lab
The other would summon the following:
Bardic Drum, 300 second 150% stamina regen boost
Bardic Lute, 300 second 150% health regen boost
Bardic Flute, 300 second 150% magica regen boost
That needs to be a flippin' mod, you're a genius, lol
The problem with the merchant is that while 2000 gold sounds like a lot, for my level 75+ character that was always obtaining super expensive gear and has about 50% price reduction with enchantments, I would end up selling 2 or 3 ebony weapons for all his money and I would still be over encumbered. With the butler however having an extra 200 carry weight means you can do an extra quest or two before having to go and sell everything.
Claude Alpha 2000 gold is terrible but so is 200 carry weight.
I still usually get the merchant because it also sells things but by the time get it I usually have daedric armor already.
Or you can just enchant a ring with as much carry weight as you want. Mine gives me 8.5 million carry weight.

You summon the butler to switch out gear to essentially change your build for different situations.
you may not know this but you can use the black book power secret of the arcane found in kolbjorn barrow to remove spell cost for a limited time to level up quickly and infinitely, if you start casting spells with a spray effect e.g flames, sparks, frostbite, even after the power wears off along as you haven't stopped casting the spell remains active at no magicka cost if you do this with telekinesis just holding any item you will level up alteration incredibly fast and once you get to level 100 you can if you have the legendary edition reset alteration to level 15
edit: i just checked the wiki and this is what it says "Once this power is activated, it is possible to cast any "streaming effect" spell, such as Healing or Wall of Storms, infinitely by activating such a spell and never releasing it. This enables said spells to be cast with no magicka for longer than the power's described "30 seconds." This is very useful for leveling up magic skills. An easy way to do Alteration is put a book on a bookshelf and activate Secret of Arcana, next use telekinesis on the book and do not let go, this will result in a never ending telekinesis spell that will quickly rank you up"
Alex Tandos will try this 👍

The Dragonborn dlc was great, but its a clear way for bethesda to remove the dragonborn from continuity
Vish Wah how so?
Josh Parsons the last dragon born becomes a servant of hermaeus mora, I'm fairly sure it's canon . It happens with every protagonist of the elder Scrolls games. It's Bethesda's own lazy way of reducing complications in the story for the next game.
But you can still get out of Apocrypha, so the game can continue

Who the hell has speech to 60 by then without a resto pot glitch anyhow?
Speech is pretty easy to raise if you know where persuade/intimidate checks are, sell stuff, etc. Especially if you rest beforehand and use the proper stone. You can even train. Items with 0 value can even level it, they don't give a huge amount but it's still something. Also if you gain a point, exit the store menu and enter it again, think there's a cap on exp gain per transaction. You can always setup a speech check in Markarth, if you're going then buy a dwarven arrow and get a message from Calcelmo, when you go you can negotiate a better price.
My speech is 80 or something despite me never focusing on it. Comes from me selling everything I can get my hands on.

I like the one that allows you to remove all of your perks best.

So your character is planning to always have access to a backup set of equipment. Also would help if you are disarmed ad can't find the weapon you were using. I hate when that happens lol.

Secret of Arcana allowed me to assfuck Harkon so hard! Lightning storm hard, then bow, then get in close with Dawnbreaker/Auriel's Shield, etc. I also used the Hallowed arrows, so that made the bow do extra damage to the idiot.
When you say active you mean passive. A once per-day that you have to ACTIVATE is active. a flat buff that is always on is passive.
Technically you're right but they're called "active effects" in the game.
If you're using destruction primarily, companion's insight is quite good, especially if you have a companion who isn't ranged focused.
And it works on other allies, such as atronochs, or raised dead. Which is great for anyone using the ritual stone.
How bout' that *Glass-Warrior* remaster 😏
I was reliefed as hell after I noticed that you can go bach to this dimension and simply change your decision.
And that you get teleported right in front of the book and not at the beginning.
Would have been useful to know this years ago...
I just enjoy a war drum while I crush my enemies and hear the lamentation of their women.
King
I am actually doing a scholar build and your insight on the black books helped me determine which powers I should get so thanks
11:13 funny how his body is in stasis, but his hair and beard are not
The hair is the most powerful part of the body, it cannot be paralyzed or frozen
I beeline for Benkogerike and get Untold Legends. Dremora Merchant? Yes please! Most useful for unloading those heavy ass dragon bones immediately after slaying a dragon.
Does t count as hoarding if you sort it into various containers/drawers by item type, or only when you leave it on the floor in PILES?
vynat draco pretty much the same here i keep my armor in the closet my weapons on a chest ingredient in another chest food in another one and the extra items like stuff like dragon bones ans stuff in another container 😂😂😂😂
The compainion insight skill won't help me at all my compainion is always Serena

Love secrets of arcana as a theif able to have unlimited heals if cause and coinjurs for a destraction to run
Max enchanting + restoration potion loop.
There, super high stamina or have enchantments that make a destruction (or other) cost 0. Or increase one handed/two handed or insane damage enchantments.
Do you get to the Cloud District very often?
Thank you for this video! I just went through the first Black Book: Waking Dreams and fought my way through with a Flame Thrall and a Dremora Lord. Creepy stuff!
