Nothing can compare to the feeling of a heart penetrated and filled with a pure and unconditional love of God. You maybe an LDS or not but I am sure you do feel the same love we (LDS) are feeling. We are all benefactors of God's grace and love.

i really like this song. i had never experienced sing this song when i was in my primary age. when i encountered this song i used to cry regardless of who sing this song. the lyrics is so amazing. whatever trials and frustrations i have had i felt that Jesus guides me for the things i am doing every single day. FYI David recorded a 2012 album called BEGIN of mainly inspirational pop covers in the weeks before he started his 2-year church mission on March 28 2012. The album also includes one original and one hymn, Be Still My Soul. It's a wonderful album and I recommend it.
I'm not a fan of any particular person because I know how dangerously close to idol worship that can be for a a Christian, but this is a song that is worthwhile. It is hard for me to forget people who sing them and do them justice. Well done David.
You can be a fan of someone/something and not have it be idol worship. An idol in the biblical sense is something that replaces God. I don't think anyone has replaced God with David Archuleta.

I am, and always have been since the first time I saw him, in awe of the spirit that radiates from him. I feel so thankful and blessed to have had this inspirational man in my life, if only to observe from a distance.

That was breathtaking. I waited 6 months to hear this. I found out David was serving a mission while I was on my own mission. I'm so proud of him. He's doing great wonderful things right now. He's such a great example.
