I recently had a talk with a friend struggling with issues with a parent. I told them the forgiveness is not for them. The forgiveness is for you to move forward in life. You can’t hold onto anger, pain use it for motivation then move forward. I’ve been rooting for Coi she’s dope plus an young old soul. Salute guys on the interview will help a lot of people especially young ladies!

Not all parents are perfect or good for that matter but she is reeping the fruits of her father's labor/success and failures. No matter which way you flip and and try to explain it she wouldn't be were she is at without her father being Benzino no matter how trash his magazine was or great you thought it was along with his music career. I believe she only forgave her father for the career he basically gave her.
There’s some truth to that, but to a certain degree. Forgiveness is a choice at the end of the day and that choice is up to your friend. I don’t think it’s our place to tell someone whether or not they should forgive someone who did wrong to them because it wasn’t done to you.
@@CowKnees_ it’s necessary because that friend struggling to move on with their life. Has done therapy too. Nothing should stop you from living having peace you have to move forward. We spoke for nearly two hours they are a mess but to heal you gotta forgive them. You don’t forget the pain but the forgiveness let’s you move forward. Some can hold grudges then continue on while others can’t. Do what you must for your own peace & happiness!
