Exactly what I do, when I have a sewing project that is giving me a hard time, or Bertha(my sewing machine) is not cooperating, I put it aside and leave it for a bit🤣usually when I return it works out❤

Tackling a new pattern can be very frustrating. Sometimes I will get some friends together and we each attempt the same project. Then everyone brings their own insights and frustrations.
been sewer for 60 years sometime just the pattern I to if I get upset with my project I too put it up and come to later and it works probably mind needs break. lol
@@patriciacorpe6228 So very true. Several years ago I sewed a sleeve on a shirt and it just would not work right. I put it away and came back to it after dinner and I had sewn the sleeve to the shirt backwards 😂

I have four raised beds approximately 4 x 8 and that’s plenty tall have enough vegetables and zinnias for my husband and I . Empty nesters . As you learn to sew you will after awhile figure out how to alternate patterns to your fit . It’s not that hard . Every body is it’s own unique shape an size .

I love looking at the style of your home ( living room furniture and your kitchen stove, brings back happy memories of my childhood and my teenage years! As I said in your previous vlog, my parents bought an avocado green gas stove, we had a white old gas stove from the 1950’s, like your sister has.
I love how you’re feeling more confident with cooking and sewing! You so remind me of myself when I was a stay at home mom years ago.
And by the way, I’m still learning new things at 65!

Hey Friend! You are quite the seimstress (sp). I think you will get a kick out of my 8th grade home economics class sewing story. I had this very complicated denim blouse pattern. My father and I picked it out and the fabric was quite thick denim! I sewed the blouse inside out! LOL! Needless to say I got a D in sewing! I still think about that blouse often! It had puffed sleeves and buttons in the middle.

Best Lume ad ever. All the ones I’ve seen on YT from their company are absolutely gross. For the first time I actually feel like trying it.
Smell it first!! I have tried it and I was absolutely grossed out, even after following all of their advise. They also refused to refund. Love the concept so hoping maybe they can eventually get it rite.
