Midnight Special = Live, no lip synching, no autotune. That's all
Love Leo! Still performing and making us feel like dancing down here in Queensland Australia❣️
Best wishes from Brisbane Australia
Great song danced to it many times. Leo is awsome😊
I loved dancing to disco, I don’t care what people say about disco music, it was fun.
Yes it was!
Good night, I haven't heard this in FOREVER!!
Love Leo Sayer! I love "When I Need You" and "More Than Word Can Say"!!
Great reaction!
We had such fun music back in the day! I was 14 in 1976! Had this album on vinyl and loved it.
This is the song I sing to my grandbabies 🎉
Leo won the Grammy Award for this too.
Another underrated British artist
Not underrated here in Australia and his home land Britain. Leo now lives here in Sydney Australia
I'd say rated just about right. Plenty of people appreciate him 40-45 years after his commercial peak. Can't ask for more than that. There are lot of other artists still in obscurity who deserve more attention. Nice to see him revive himself in a new career as Malcolm Gladwell, though.
Leo was a baaaad man!!! Great reaction. Great, feel good song.
I like Leo's stuff - I had a couple of his early albums, I really like "Thunder In My Heart".
When I Need You is another great song by Leo
They did it last week
Another song I grew up listening to!!!! I was 11-years-old in 1976!
We loved Leo. 💋💋💋
My mom actually got into Midnight Special because of Leo Sayer. She let me stay up from then on and we watched the show together.
One of my fav disco era songs by Leo.. It's a feel good song, and for disco, it's made a come back in my playlist.
Except the song WASN'T Dic so.
He's Irish extraction that was a blast from the past nice one
Hi guys from New Zealand. If you want to listen to one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Try ‘ Message to my girl’ by Spilt Enz. Pretty sure 100% you will love it.
Yay! So happy you did this one! Isn`t it fun! :) more hits to try of his are Long Tall Glasses and More Than I Can Say ..Keep On Rockin'
Leo Sayer 'Moonlighting', one of my favourite songs.
Awesome song guys. Funny he popped up in my dream singing his famous song. Happened to be turned into my local radio station listening to it. The DJ was dancing, going for it while looking down on the main street. He had an audience of people looking up enjoying it. He even had the traffic stunned, some getting outta their cars dancing to it. This was in Sydney Australia.
Great memories
Leo was top of the pops 🎶🎶🎶🎶
A brilliant english artist who has had a very long career here in the uk
I am glad you are doing Leo Sayers 1976 Disco hit "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing." It's a far cry from his other hit you reacted to " When I Need You." Great reaction as always.
Drummer was kicking booty!
How Much Love was his next Butt Kicker!
NOT Disco.
This song was NOT disco
The guy who introduced him was Lou Rawls , r.i.p. , you would love his song - You'll Never Find
It was great to be alive in the 70s.
The Show Must Go on by LEO Sayers...🎸☮️
LOVE this song. I'm so glad you got to it not too long after doing When I Need You.
The host that introduced Leo was Lou Rawls. He's a singer too.
My favorite of his is "Long Tall Glasses".
Yup
I love that song
My favorite by him too.
Long Tall Glasses is my favorite of his! Half time at the Pacer hames back in the 70s we had guy that always danced to this song, they called him Dancing Harry!
And that hair is all natural, oh yes. Leo has had so many hits, here in the UK at least. 🇬🇧
Being a child of music lovers in the 70's was phenomenal!
First time I heard this song was I found a tape in my car that somebody left and I started playing it. This is really the only song I liked on it but I played it over and over. It was the old days when they were cassettes before the cds.
Oh yes, Leo is one of my all time favourite singers/ performers. Long Tall Glasses is a fun song , One Man Band too
Back in the day some people didn't like Leo but I did. Thanks for this one
Oh the "Disco Days", bring back Disco!
You make me Feel Like Dancing and how much Love was NOT dicso.
This brings back memories, Sean Cassidy "Da Do Run Run" Cover came out around same time.
I LOVE this song!
A really nice Cool Song
Remembering me back in the days when I was young in grammar school
7 th. Grade. It was such a great song everybody used to dance to it and always playing on the radio. 👍👍💚💜💙💚💜💙💚💜💚💜💙💚💜💙💚💜

Leo moved to Australia decades ago. Really popular. Your in a really good rabbit hole now guys.
Back in the day if you made it on the midnight special then you know you made it.Midnight special was the best
I absolutely love Leo.
Me encanta
You guys are doing some different stuff than others are reacting to. Thanks. Cheers from Canada
Loved the Midnight Special..
man, this takes me back, to dancing in my room to this song.
Long Tall Glasses should be next by Leo. Or The Show Must Go On, his massive breakthrough, make sure its the video!
Yaaaa. You guys did it. Thank you. I love this song 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The Show must go on, Leo Sayer.
Maybe try "Shame, Shame, Shame" by Shirley and Co. and "Get Dancin'" by Joe Tex. Very similar. Fun and danceable.
Thanks for this. I always love and appreciate your reactions.
Look I'm 27 and have 2 of his cd's in my truck if you do another one of his please make it "more than I can say". Me and my father absolutely love it and I think you will to.
Brilliant man of my youth and his afro is all natural
Leo Sayer's first album was Silverbird & it's biggest hit was "The Show Must Go On". In his live performances, he dressed like a Pierrot & had a much more somber stage presence.
A few years back a guy named Mika had a hit called "Love today" and when I heard it I immediately thought of Leo Sayer.
His song “More than I can say” please.👍💙✌️
When I was 19 I listened to this in my car AM radio.
Always love y'all's reactions !! You two are GREAT !!! LOVE YOU BOTH !!! 😘❤️
I remember this song from the Charlie's Angels movie with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz & Lucy Lue.
Check out Gilbert O'Sullivan who had hits at the same time as Leo, happy upbeat songs like 'Get Down, 'Claire', 'Matrimony' and sad ones like 'Alone Again', and 'Nothing Rhymed'.
I just found you two …. But this got me subbing! This is my J.A.M. I was 6 when it came out…. Got my grandson loving it too! 💕
Aaah!! One of my FAVOURITES!!! Yay!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I wish you'd play "Long Tall Glasses", it's been decades since I've heard that one, I liked it better than his other songs, for sure!
Cant wait to see him in Liverpool next year...good as ever
For a lot more Leo fun do Long Tall Glasses ( I Can Dance)
Great reaction guys!!! He did have a lot of spunk & sound….for a guy who was only 5’ 4” tall!
Check out Leo Sayer "I Love you more than I can Say".
Great video and song from the crazy 70’s.
Wow great music man great talented man
Diss was my mommas favorite song still one of mine tall stay 🙌🙌🙌
"Long Tall Glasses (I Can Dance)" by Leo 1974. I think you'll dig it. Enjoy your reactions

Gotta listen to ,When I need You!
They did it last week
Long Tall Glasses is his best !!!!!
So fun... great memories. Thanks for the smiles:))) Please react to TAVARES MORE THAN A WOMAN!!!
Also, Leo co-wrote a great song for Roger Daltry of The Who, called Giving It All Away. Roger had a big hit with it,Leo also recorded it, and both recordings are worth a watch.
This song was sampled/used in the more recent hit for The Scissor Sisters, I Don’t Feel Like Dancing. Check it out and compare.
You should see him to day Leo is still going he appears on tv some times
Leo Sayer more than I can say you like the song
Brings back memories!! LOL
Thank you for sharing this with me
I was six when this song came out and my mother was a disco queen if you will so I grew up listening to everything disco I’m here for it I still love it it’s one of my favorite genres. I grew up in Miami, but I was born in New Jersey till about six years old and I remember my early childhood like it was yesterday and I remember my mom in New Jersey. Getting ready to go to studio 54. And I was just watching her and mesmerized by how she looked and how beautiful she was. My mom had fair skin, blue eyes and a blonde Afro. I mean till this day I think back and think my mom was such a bad ass. Miss her! She was a dancer could do every single dance out there. I loved to watch her dance, the hustle, and I know I get that from her because I can dance to anything and I love music and I feel like I got that from her and I have a 14-year-old daughter so I feel like has gotten that for me like it’s in our blood! she was a dancer could do every single dance out there. I loved to watch her dance, the hustle, and I know I get that from her because I can dance to anything and I love music and I feel like I got that from her and I have a 14-year-old daughter who I feel like has gotten that for me like it’s in our blood!
Such a cheery song
That was such fun music!!
Gotta do "Long Tall Glasses" next--a true classic.
The funny thing about this childhood song that remains rested in my head for decades is that Sayer can't actually fucking dance. It doesn't matter though, because it captures the unabashed joy of the movement. Something we see precious little of today.
Fun Happy times…👍🏻😎👍🏻
Dude got some moves
guys take a look at i wont let the show go on by leo
Thunder in my heart or Given it all away!
Singer & songwriter Ray Parker Jr wrote this great classic song
Love it!!
