Wasn’t expecting that outcome. Not far off Dave’s handicap myself (9.7) and wouldn’t have even considered this model before seeing those numbers. Loving the mid handicap videos guys, great content and helpful tips for us club golfers thx. 😊
For a 79 year old , 20 handicap golfer it was great to watch Dave testing a club with a realistic swing speed. Watching a young professional smash a ball over 280 yards does NOT help me decide which club to buy. I will be interested in other videos suitable for the older golfer. Thank you.
I'm off 11.2 and Paradym TD came out on top today. 8 yds longer than TSr3, 5 yds longer than Rogue TD. Forgiveness was about the same for all. Paradym TD felt absolutely amazing paired with Diamana PD. My spin was 1900.
Nice work Dave !! And it was so nice to see Chris genuinely happy for Dave ! I haven’t been this excited about a new driver in about 5 years. Can’t wait to try out this Paradigm 🤪 Thanks Chris !!
Nice driver but £599!!! Not a chance of me buying one. While I understand that the people who must have the latest new thing will buy them club manufacturers are pricing people out of taking up golf. We are constantly told that fitting is the way to go but you can't always get fitted for second hand clubs. I looked at the price of clubs in a well known major golf chain store the other day and to kit yourself out with the latest and, according to the well followed youtube testers, best equipment you're looking at the thick end of £2500. Now I don't blame the youtube guys. I am subsribed to a number of them and find James Robinson and your good self about the best, and you provide a valuable service, no, I am blaming the companies. I know about R&D costs but have they really shot up that much in say 5 years? It wasn't that long ago you could buy a great driver for £299 and a set of irons for £600. Rant over and keep up the great work.
You’re absolutely right. Clubs seem on a massive upward spiral in cost at the moment. Almost all the big manufacturers have their equipment made or put together in China so you know their cost is nowhere near the consumer cost. If golfers want to do something about this it’s easy, don’t buy the stuff! Most handicap golfers aren’t consistent enough to see any of the so called promises these new clubs come with so will be wasting their money. Golf influencer’s as they are now called, never say anything about these ridiculous prices for fear they won’t receive their next freebie from the manufacturers.
Excellent, nice to see (and hear) Dave hitting the new driver. It will be great to see him hitting all three options when they're available and which one works for him.
I will buy any driver I can hit farther as I am giving my old one to my son. I am too old to worry about cost and just want more enjoyment of the game. Distance here I come!!
Thanks Chris - of all the new reviews of this club yours is the best I.e. in the hands of a mid handicapper - I did think you were mad to put the triple d in the hands of a MH as a lot of pro RUclipsrs have struggled with it - I’m now very interested in Dave testing the standard and standard X 👍🏼👍🏼
I've always found if the head suits your eye and ears correct shaft makes all the difference in control and distance. C.O.R is set in stone for driver heads but shaft design is a open book.
Always search for your videos Chris, they're very well done and enjoyable. I'll keep the new Callaway Paradym driver in mind a few years down the road when they hit the "previously owned" market. Dave you hit a few nice balls there - Well Done!
The only time I get 30+ extra yards roll here in kansas is when its middle of summer and the courses are hard as rock....LOL I bet he doesnt hit it 240 out on your wet courses!
Honestly don't think the Triple Diamond Version is right Driver for him, but do think he should take a Serious look at the Standard Version.. Based on other Reviews that would be a better match in my opinion. Don't think the X Version would be a good match since he doesn't slice much.. For me the X version would be a good match.
It seems to be a good driver for anyone that can put a reasonable swing on a ball. It might be interesting to try this club when it is available at golf stores. I personally would never think that a triple diamond would be something I wanted to try but it seems to be both forgiving and relatively long off the tee.
Unfortunately lofting up a driver alters the face angle so the figures will not be the same as the correct driver loft from the factory ..So figures here need to adjusted...
@@sublimegolf26 well u wudnt spend £500 on a driver if u wer off 36 wud u? Surely ur not gonna spank out that much cash unless ur pretty good? Mayb I’m just jealous as I’m an eBay hound 😂
@@scottstewart3954 I'm playing off an 8 now but when I was a higher handicap, I paid whatever the going price was for the best equipment. It's hard to put a price on improving and getting more enjoyment out of the game. I guarantee there's mid and even high handicap shelling out $600 every year for the latest and greatest. Not saying that it will help their game but that's what the club manufacturer is counting on. Just saying the handicap doesn't equal spending, might even be the other way around. I see where you're coming from but you're also talking to an equipment junkie here ☺☺
Great video Chris, Nice to see a mid handicapper hitting the new clubs rather than pro's. Keep the great content coming.👏👏👍👍
I love the smiles from Dave - absolutely smashing it !!

Chris, great idea to see these clubs used by higher handicappers. Gives a better view on how they will perform for 99% of us 😊.

Great video guys! That smile on Dave's face says it all! Looking forward to seeing him test the other drivers coming out this year!
I felt like a kid in a sweet/candy shop
Smile on Dave like the 🐈 getting her milk. Well done lads.
I really appreciate your videos with Dave as he around my profile of swing speed and handicap
Great wayv to test a new driver. Cheers Dave Cheers Chris
Great to see Chris..loved seeing mid handicapper hitting these new clubs!
At that price, it can stay a dream😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Will stick with my Sim for now.
Not sure spemding circa £500 would change anything for me. Nice to see Dave using this as he is more relateable to me.

What sort of ball speed and smash factor was he getting? Awesome insights, keep up the good work.

I’ll be trying them when they’re available
Hi there what was the weight combination daves was playing?
Great review. Good to see this in the hands of a non-Pro. Excellent that Dave has a mic now. Smart haircut BTW Dave!
Yea they took off more than I was expecting 😂
Put a Leeds shirt on it & see if it's the target ! Looks like Dave's getting a new driver !!
If you’re buying Andy 😂
Its the 45 g shaft! That shaft in Reg flex will get Dave the 200 + yard carry with most modern drivers; No need to spend £600 !!

I vote if this video gets 500 likes Dave has to put that Paradym in the bag this season 👍
I’ll go with that if you’re paying 😂
I was thinking Chris could give you that one he’s got, he only ever uses that 7 wood anyway 😂 At least he’s got you a mic now 👏
Interesting setup with this head, but priced out of the market for me.
More reviews from Dave, plz.
He has some in mind
Needs to be fitted to a narrower course. Distance is good but you still have to hit the fairway. Imo.
True, hopefully having a go on course once the weather improves

True let’s see how the other 2 in the range go
did he have the 14g in front or back
And what Shaft it was pls txs
How about a tsr ?
Not tried it, but it’s a good looking club
Chris what shaft are you using for Dave in this video
I think it was a 45 or 50g regular
Not at 500 bangers🙈
What mid handicapper is gonna spend £500+ on a driver?
Why would your handicap affect your budget?!?

So many nice new drivers out there but I don't know how normal golfers find £500 for a new model, do these clubs really apeal to the masses.
Is his name Dave ? Lol
Mid handicapper’s overdraft and wife throw a paddy
Think they have kicked themselves in the teeth with the price of these drivers and irons
Yes but would you really pay £550+ for a few extra yards?? A few less putts would be better!!
Way too much talking!!!!!
