215 to 265 yards. I was previously playing a Callaway Warbird (~10 years old) and recently got fit into the Paradym. I gained 50 yards immediately with a better shaft and head that suited me! Love the new driver

I just bought the Paradym 💎💎💎. I hit it at the range yesterday without any adjustments to the loft, and I'm blown away. I hit the straightest drives I've ever had. It looks good and inspires confidence in the tee box.
I was fitted for triple diamond and G430 LST! While the Callaway was huge, if I lost it, it wouldn’t stay on the planet so went with the Ping. After playing a couple of times, I think I made the right call! Haven’t missed a fairway yet and now showing longer than I suspected thanks to increased confidence and committing to drives!
Loved the remark "you can see I've been testing this club for off-centre hits". I do a lot of testing of this. So much testing that I seem to have lost (if I ever knew where it was) the concept of using the centre of the club face. Good content - I'll get you a pint of John Smith's next time I'm in your area.
I have been playing for 25 years and have never gamed a Callaway driver until this year with the Callaway triple diamond. I tested the Cobra aerojet, tsr3 , stealth 2 , g430 , The Callaway was a clear winner for me .
Interesting video, but don’t understand why testing ST Max LS instead of ST TD. Would have make sense when comparing with Paradym TD. Keep up the great work! 😊👍
Not sure if you saw that video from Martin Borgmeier a few months ago - he explained it really well and it seems to be the direction Callaway are going. Drivers for use in competition are only allowed a COR limit (or CT) of 0.83 so they can't make a faster face than that. If they can't make faster faces the only thing they can do is work on off-centre hits and increase forgiveness. Which makes sense considering the Rogue ST was one of the best forgiving drivers and now so is the Paradym.
Two weeks my Ping 425 cracked after a bit of a bad shot and I have just decided to go Callaway after 10 years with my Ping driver and I ordered from Golfbidder the Rogue ST Max and used it on Thursday and the first round played I was not expecting what happend, I hit every fairway and was about 5 yards further. No idea what I did but I love it.
In the same boat with my cobra driver. Broke after about four months but isn’t covered under warranty anymore. Unfortunately I don’t have the spare cash right now for a new one so I’m just stuck hitting 4i and an old 3W

Each iteration that comes out gets better. Taylormade used to be king of drivers but idk anymore. I just bought a new Rogue ST LS. Sold the epic speed and the stealth. 🤷♂️ Dope comparison thank u for this, great timing for alot of folks
With Taylormade Staffers going back to previous versions it would be interesting to see the difference between sim and stealth. Enjoyed the comparison despite the fact I had a epic speed ls and couldn’t hit it 😂
JR, I just upgraded my Epic Flash SZ to the Paradym TD. I did it for two reasons. First the sound is glorious (I love the look as well, but didn't mind my old girl), the spin window is much better for me. Average for my SZ was around 2800-3200 where the TD is 2000-2400. The scary ones with my SZ were 3500 where the scary ones with the TD are 1500. I still like the new one better we are still getting acquainted but the sound and looks are better and when we are on the same page it is magical. Tried all the newest drivers and it is the Paradym that was best.
Been playing the Epic Max LS for a couple of seasons now and I absolutely love it. No intention of changing it any time soon, mainly because of the ballooning price of drivers now. Loved the look of both Rogue ST and Paradym, but the price tag is just too much for the marginal benefits that you showed in the video.
Awesome video! I swore nothing would get the Rogue ST 💎💎💎 Out of the bag but, Callaway definitely figured something out with this new head. For the Paradym 💎💎💎 being a low spin bomber, I found that the spin retention on the high face misses, and how the thin ones didn’t jump to 3000 plus spin was wild to me. I really haven’t seen any ball speed gains since the 2018 F9 cobra but, this thing is consistent all across the face. Love that you’re loving it as well!
I had the OG Epic and loved it. Long and forgiving. Went to Epic Speed and couldn’t get on with it. Moved to Epic Max and found it ok. Recently moved to Paradym Std and its the closest to the OG Epic I’ve tried. Long, even more forgiving, and has great feel and sound. More of a dull thud off the face like the OG Epic, which I love!
What i can appreciate from the Callaway is that their drivers have growth and development from year to year. You can see it gets a little better every year.
Lots of Birdies on the course which is always a good thing. I play SIM2 OS's, and Im considering buying some STEALTHS or PARADYM X IRONS. GREAT video doing that line up of CALLAWAY drivers. Informative and impressive. Like the way you OWNED UP to that one bad swing over the treeline. It was still WAY MUCH BETTER than one of my bad swings 😂😂😂😂
This solidifies my choice. Was able to pick up a TSi2 driver hzrdus smoke black LS shaft AND a Cobra LTDx 3 wood with Hzrdus smoke green shaft both for much less than just 1 of the new drivers out there.
The difference I am looking for is how they differ on toe and heel strikes, the forgiveness, I know they are relatively the same on the sweet spot, show us a toe comparo and a heel comparo
I have the Rogue after being fitted. I spent 2hrs and tried all the brands. For distance it wasn't the longest but for landing center and distance the Rogue passed the test. That said, may look at the Paradym because the same guy who fitted me said it's a lot lighter. I'm old with a swing speed of 90. Not sure if I will spend the money. Might buy new irons instead..😊
I think the main thing is that newer clubs have more consistency out the face than ones that are a bit older. To me, that may be worth it. It is pretty expensive though for a paradym.
I play the rouge st Ls with a LA golf trono shaft. Tried the paradigm head with the same shaft but just created high spin. For me it's all down to a good fitting as the rouge is a monster for me.
My son just bought the brand new latest Callaway driver and when he was using it to tee off the shaft broke off the adapter tip so he took it back and they actually gave him a brand new one and as he got home and took the head cover off the light grayish paint job that goes around the face was not complete and had almost a white streak in it. He took it back and got a totally different brand he had enough of Callaway and they’re junk
LOVE Callaway products, their irons were always great, but now the whole line is GREAT! I game the Apex 21 irons and the Apex 21 hybrids they are all super LOOONG and ultra forgiving!
if there is no more than 5 yards difference then I took rouge st without a doubt because I saw paradigm at a golf fair and personally I thought it was ugly so I didn't try it. but luckily taste is personal
I've got a Rogue triple diamond that I got from Callaway pre- owned. I wanted to see how it faired against my Epic Max. As you described with the Paradym, it's not very forgiving, but if I catch it, it really goes. Makes me reconsider if I'm going to shell out a ton of cash on the Paradym
Just bought the max les form last year (new one with price drop)… I prefer the mat finish of it, the glossy finish scratch so easily and looks bad rapidly… first drives not bad… but still looking for my best « pairing »… I love so much the Rogue Fairway wood… but not yet convince that the Driver is good for me :(

Hi James. I have never been fitted for a driver but I’m seriously thinking about at the moment ( too many missed fairways). Cost obviously a big factor and all the callaway drivers seem to perform pretty similarly. Only problem if budget is key can you still get a fitting for a model that is not in the current line up and may be a couple of years old? Talking of fitting how many clubs do you think you can actually squeeze in that pencil golf bag ? 😆
Honestly I’m surprised he didn’t include the 2018 Rogue in this comparison too. I have that Rogue and it’s honestly phenomenal. You can find a used one for cheap
James, I really like your videos! Very entertaining! However, one thing bothers me, get a larger golf bag. You are ruining your grips by jamming your clubs into that small carry bag.

Callaway preowned is the greatest secret out there. When their clubs are on sale the prices are below the used market and in better condition.
I literally scour that place almost daily! Got a great set of irons and wedges plus a uw in like new condition for a steal of a price

I agree with you, except I was fitted for the TSr and LST, went with the latter as the dispersion was tighter

Had the first XR driver and loved it. Changed it for Cobra F9 but would definitely try the rogue ST but paradym I don't like the look of it.

Rogue is where it's at for me when I compared it directly to Paradym. Hit it longer, straighter and felt like it was more forgiving.

I got this driver, best club I've owned. Used the previous model, this one is the best
Picked up the Epic this past winter, same set up you have, and it beat everything else I tested & it was half the price.

Just switched from the Epic max LS to Paradigm driver. I hit my Max LS good, but just feel so much more comfortable with Paradigm

A friend who works in the business reckons change clubs every 4 to 5 years to get noticeable improvements worth spending the money on.

3-4 yards when you carry driver 276 ain’t shit. pick the one that is forgiving and looks and sounds good to you and that won’t break your budget
I bought the Epic Max LS earlier this year for $275us brand new. Its great, but not super forgiving.
Rogue has the best head cover. Paradym head cover looks cheap to me. Something about the big shiny vinyl middle patch is off putting to me.

I enjoyed this video and I think that if I was to choose one for me it would be the Epic speed. That said I think I'll stick with my Taylormade M4
