I have a set of drill drawers. I organized the taps and dies by putting them with the drill bit you would use with the tap. Thank you Stan for all the great videos.
I recently bought 2 of these (1/6- 1”). I used a piece of toolbox drawer liner to break the friction between the two cabinets. Works well and it was a scrap piece I had laying around.
Thanks Stan. yep storage... more more more. I use old bins I got at a bankruptcy sale of a hardware store. Don't know what they held but now it's my drill bits. Not as well organized as yours by I KNOW where they are. As usual an excellent video
In the past year I bought both Huot and Vivor from eBay. Price difference was within 10% of each other. However, Vivor has ball bearing drawer guides where Huot has only friction guides. Overall, I like the Vivor better.
I've had the drill dispenser for a year or so now and it is a great piece of kit for almost nothing. a little wonkyness and shipping damage but it was cheap and works as good as any other.
This wouldn’t work well for me unless I bought several cabinets of each. I’m sure I’m not alone in this, but I’ve got bits for mild and low alloy steel and cast iron. Bits for hardened steel and titanium. Bits for non ferrous. Some various carbide bits. Bits for sheet metal. 118 degree and 135 split point in several types. Jobbers length and screw length. Ugh! Then there’s metric. Give them even a half decent review and they’ll give you more stuff.
I have a set of Huots I bought 20 years ago. Paint is peeling, looks like Zero prep to metal surface, no primer, very thin coat of paint. Very disappointing especially for what they cost.
That’s typical for that type of cabinet. Of course, there are expensive equivalents that are made and painted better, but they cost around three times as much.
The Torque Test Channel just released a video today that includes a test of a Vevor 3/4" impact gun. It wasn't at the top of the competition, but it was close enough to be really useful. It appears that they make (or brand) some decent stuff.
I bought these same ones and they don't use foam so 3 different times they had worked with me to get me boxes and not one time did they package it with foam.
9:07 - Nice Vevor math! The endmill index includes the elusive 9/31" size.
I don't mind paying the extra for made in USA. It's not like you ever need to buy more than a couple of these.
Stan, Now you did it! I bought 8 of those cabinets. I have so many drill bits and small taps. These cabinets are perfect in size for that stuff. 👍

These are pretty neat! I need a couple of these for all of my drills that I can’t throw away! 🤣👍 Thanks for the share Stan hope your doing well! 😎✌️
Nice and the price is right, I ordered.
Hi Randy, I ordered a Huot set some time ago and they stack without shifting. But have been looking at the Vevor ones for some time.
The Vevor ones are very sturdy and well built I was surprised.@@TheMiniMachineShop
I bought two sets a few months ago. Definitely worth the price!
That Zep degreaser is the best oil spot remover both on carpet and the driveway. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have 2 of them Stan. I prefer them over Huot because they have steel dividers as opposed to plastic that Huot uses.
Those look like nice cabinets. I have the Vevor Drill bit sharpener. It works great.

That is really handy to keep things findable. Thanks for the video keep on keeping on.

Wow! Roller-bearing drawers! Gonna have to check that out. I think China is eating our lunch!
I ordered the one for bits up to 1/2 inch. They sent the one up to 1 inch. So I had to order the smaller one again... Nice organizing boxes for sure.

If they powder coat them red, they will have a hit for sure. 😂
My Huot has just friction slides on the drawers .
Wow even from China they look well made. Wonder if they have reamer draw type.

Those are really cool Stan! Thank you for sharing!

Do the dividers come out non destructively? these look like the perfect solution for my office desk, but the dividers kinda ruin it.
No, they are welded in.
Nice boxes Thanks for sharing Stan
I have a few they held up great
👍👍👍👍
