And the job crane - it looks like it’s simply welded at the top. I had a cool upgrade idea. Hooking a brace bar with different notches to hold bigger weights.?
Stan, will you sand blast that Cylindrical Square before grinding it, mainly to get rid of the scale build up in the depressions on each end of the cylinder faces ?

Na, it's getting ground anyway.

I just scrubbed it down in the sink with red scotchbrite, it leaves a durable black finish everywhere that isn't ground.
