But also the people that were there, my older brother and my dad, who’s been gone now 7 years.
Although I miss him, I have AWESOME memories that we shared together hunting and fishing and

It's pretty gamey but really good if you season it up well like he did or have it with veggies and spices in a slow cook pot roast.. sooo tender and yummy

Venison is like a steak but with different flavors
All wild game in my opinion is much much better tasting then anything you can buy in the store! I love deer Moose elk bear wild boar it all tastes so much better when you harvest it yourself rather then buying it from the store! :)

Man I absolutely love this channel. Found it because a year or so ago I was watching gator cleaning. Now I watch every video! It’s made me want to hunt and clean ! Love rob and Sarah! And the girls of course :)!!

I'm not a big fan of venison, but that looked really really good. Of course I'd have to do it without the pecan pumpkin butter seeing as I'm deathly allergic to pecans, but I suppose I could find something close to that.

Evening of Black Friday is always a great day in the woods for whitetails, for me at least.
Smart too. No traffic, no pushing or shoving to buy gifts. I stay home or go camping. We still have venison, trout, bass, salmon and elk, etc., in freezer. God bless you and your family.

Best part...your family was there to enjoy the experience with you. The latter had to be the best part. My hunting days are now gone, and I miss them terribly. I'm on the downhill, but I too know where I will be going. Can't wait to see what will unfold in that chapter. I can't tell you how much the videos you and Rob make help fill my days as I sit here in my office. As you may have guessed, I am now homebound. Stinks, but I had my time in the sun. Just enjoy those times....they are fleeting. You don't know what the next day will bring. I am very proud of your accomplishment! Well friggen done...good composure! Camera work was also top notch....kudos to the cameraman....took nerve. By the way, you know Rob is proud but biting his lip as he looks at that deer.....hehehe!

Only went hunting about 3 times growing up, but grew up around a lot of guns. I started wanting to hunt and got into archery. My first season was last year and didn't get anything. This year still zero but I've learned so much from failing the prior year. Live in southern WV and this year does look promising, so just wanted to say thanks to you and your brother for the videos and also the knowledge. Keep hammering!!!!

Friday following Thanksgiving is my favorite hunting day of the year. Full rut and clear mind. Best day of the year, kill or no kill. Except Christmas.
16:42 "hunters are here to live an amazing life." So true. Plenty of times I am hunting on public land and I don't get anything. But I enjoy my time in the woods. I enjoy the stalking. I am humbled by nature. It is like Ted Nugent has stated a number of times. When you are hunting that deer, it does not care if you are a big rock star or how important you are.
The time in the woods is a recharge. But it is nice to harvest, for sure. Especially with the way that you guys cook.

That deer looks like a mule deer. I've saw a lot of mule deer at the Grand Canyon back in 1992 when my wife and I went there on our honeymoon back in 1992. She took a strung-out Desert Storm vet back to the desert and put him back on the path to peace. I will always love her.
