I swapped the 400cdi pump even on my om647 as it ran out of fuel on my injectors around 125mm of fuel. So at about the same power level. Way too long duration as there is alot of smoke pushes the EOI way late and the fuel makes only smoke not power. I ran similar turbo with 145mm of injection on the 647 without smoke.

Surely that stock exhaust and cat is going to be a big cause of the smoke and lack of power to, needs a 3"inch downpipe and 2.5" back exhaust for the flow
We need to test that too, might be less of an issue than many think 😁

Great video. Is that hybrid turbo charger to OM 648 to big for a OM 647? That with an upgrade of fuel injectors and a change of gear drive on the original fuel injection pump and bigger intercooler? Keep it coming on great Mercedes tuning and let us roll with much black diesel smoke.
Congratulations, the transformation of the old E 320 CDI class with increased power is very beautiful and interesting. Watching the video though, exactly al minuto 9:15, I noticed that parts of the car in question are being washed, covered in a thick film of oil and grease, on the workshop floor, where there should probably be a pipe which collects the washing sewage to convey it into the sewer. My question is: in Finland this type of water, as it happens in Italy and European countries, should not be collected and conveyed into special tanks as is the case for used oils and other workshop liquids to then be treated and disposed of by specific companies that treat special waste? Or is there no legislation in Finland that regulates the collection and disposal of washing sludge for workshops and also car washes and the like? I don't know, maybe I'm missing something.

Have you tried swapping 320cdi stock high pressure CR pump to 400cdi pump? It needs some housing grinding and relocating wiring but you can gain extra 100HP. It is worth trying:)

Hello! I guess that you know about Mercedes diesel too much. Maybe you know… Om642.920 Cls w219. I have chip tuning 300 + hp on wheels . During acceleration,( pedal 80% and more) exactly 2000 - 3000 rpm, at maximum turbo boost till 2.8 bar or 2.7 bar, and rapidly drop till 2.6, after quickly till 2.8 or 2.7 bar and so on. 2-3 times. ( rpm 2200,2500,2800) Looks like working of ESP, ( not like twitch) but it is not this one. Turbo and actuator are repaired. Injection nozzles are checked, high pressure pump and pump in tank were replaced. MAP sensor are replaced( but when old map sensor was installed it was broken, always sowed about 1.0 bar, problem was same and replacement by new one is not helping.
No any errors.
When stock soft problem is not appearing! Can you advise something for start investigation 😀 and one more, if start accelerating press to pedal 100 %, wheels don’t slip, if about 80 % wheels slip. On other car this problem is not appears. It’s mean that soft is correct. Best regards!!!

For that power, egs (transmission control) tune update is enough. Ofc recommend oil and filter cange to gearbox also.

No, its waaaay too small. Dont recommend.

I have this exact car, how do you change the traction control to allow drifting.
Or is it always in dyno mode?
Can use gearboxM mode and esp button, but dyno mode when need full esp off.
