They all concern themselves with perfect techniques and speed and I tell them that nobody cares...except the 3 guitarists that are in the crowd.. play a song with great hooks that people can sing along with and tap their foot to... it will go a lot further...
Bam. Absolute truth. You can mix it up for sure and still sound great. But I mean...ok when I first started playing guitar I was little and was amazed by Steve Vai. Dude is clearly a great guitarist. But I can't listen to a full recording of it anymore. And if you play something like that for the average person they'll go "Wow this guy is amazing." And then 30 seconds later they'll turn it off and walk away.
There's truth to this, but there's other reasons I'm into developing speed and technique. For me it's partly just the personal satisfaction, I don't even show off my skills much and when I do, I can't help but feel self-conscious no matter how good I am. Hard to explain, it's kinda cool wowing people with your guitar playing, but sometimes I don't like how people look at you differently. Now, I don't care as much about that and adults aren't as likely to think of you as a god on guitar, and I've realized the huge mental benefit of it, to keep improving and going out of you comfort zone. Now I realize how I can practice as efficiently as possible to maximize developing speed and technicality, while not sacrificing feel and creativity. The meritocracy thing is true, but good looks are not the only defining factor in getting more views. It think it's more of a package thing than a single-element thing. As opposed to the guitarist guy, that girl gets more views not only because she looks hot, but ALSO because: 1. She performs very popular songs; the other guy does shredding, which isn't a popular thing at all. 2. She SINGS. Singers get much more attention than any other instrumentist, no matter the type of music. She offers a more attractive PACKAGE to the masses.
As for ugly dudes in metal getting recognition, I have to hand it to Devin Townsend for just being a crazy fucker. I think that he's always kind of had the "we're ugly and fuck you we're just going to milk that" factor, but once Devy ended Strapping Young Lad and started the whole Ziltoid and "Devin Townsend Project" thing and just ran with it, he's gotten so much more popular than ever, just for the amount of sheer wackiness and imagination he puts into it. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying that dude knows how to amass an audience for just being as over-the-top and larger-than-life as possible.
But that slick shiny head tho! Nah nah, kidding kidding. I totally dig what you're saying. I think the whole "we're ugly" thing is just one of Devy's running jokes and he's used his "distinctive" appearance to his advantage; almost as much as the wet/dry mix on his reverb plugin. :D
Steve Vai said it best. "If your guitar playing makes you smile and happy then don't worry about what others think or say." Probably the best advice a Guitar God has ever given.
I remember 7 or 8 years ago I was selling a very old Epiphone acoustic guitar which I got for a few bucks to a friend of mine who owned a vintage guitar store...Turned out the guitar was the same Paul McCartney played 'Yesterday' on and was worth a little fortune. So my friend went 'Dude I've been looking for one of these for years! I'll trade anything from the store for it'. I saw that Les Paul R9 hanging but decided I didn't deserve such a guitar because I was just some idiot playing in a garage with his friends every saturday afternoon... But friend told me 'Who gives a shit, get it if you like it!' ... and so I did, and I've been enjoying that wonderful Les Paul ever since. Fuck meritocracy :)
Yup. I learned this very early in my career. I was studying with a phenomenal guitar teacher as a 20 something and it seemed odd that I was gigging all over and he was mostly teaching. He explained that it was partly by choice but also the fact that music business has become more perception than reality and he didn't believe he fit in. He could play circles around me but was very generous with his knowledge. He prepared me for the cold world of the biz and now I find myself in his same exact position, mostly teaching youngsters who have limited knowledge/experience but seem to get most of the opportunities. The way I look at it, hopefully I can instill some knowledge and make the future of music brighter. Most of this came as little to no surprise to me. As a fledgling guitarist, more people would respond if I played a Ramones or Kiss riff rather than a Rush riff.
what you said about preferring to see someone make a living off youtube than spend six days a week on an assembly line has changed my view on youtubers that i see recently. That's just something i had never considered. even if i dont like their content, i'd still want to see them succeed and make a living off youtube, because nobody makes youtube videos unless they love to do so, and doing what you love is a true blessing. I think this small part was just as eye opening as the rest of the video. Cheers! love the content :)

+xSneaky Reptile are you referring to his suicide or something else? Your comment says 2 weeks ago, so would have been either shortly before or after that.
I never enjoyed your videos initially but the more i listen the more i appreciate your no nonsense "real" approach. Keep, keeping it real man you are a breath of fresh air - i enjoyed your tips on putting on a great stage performance - it was spot on and reminded me to never get on stage and go through the motions
That clip of Steeley Dan is exactly what I think of when I think about how you could be ugly as fuck but still make it as successful musicians in the 70s.
I believe that MA L' 's avatar is the the North Korean national symbol. Or probably pulled off The Wall. I photographed my avatar at a gas station. Anyway - Let us not forget Frank Zappa's Mothers. Talk about ugly. How 'bout them Stones? Time frame and content. A time before all these videos and selfies. Gone forever. AutoTune, facebook, photoshop, spell correct and all things digital are the icons of this new age. Truth is going to get hard to find... everyone wants to make themselves out to be the best they can look; physically, intellectually and/or emotionally.
And how does it make you feel that Glenn mentioned it in the context of people crying over it? As he also said in the video, humans are built to fuck. There is no sexual privilege when both parties want the same thing (hence bringing up Bieber). Female privilege is a term invented by underfucked cave trolls as an out-of-context response to "male privilege" which is a very real thing in a purely economic sense.
Good, you shouldn't judge her. It doesn't change the fact that being physically attractive will absolutely boost your social media accounts, and more so if you're female. People are free to do as they please, and for many people, the money/fame/attention pleases them greatly. 'Privileges' are a normal part of life and apply to women as well.
"tricky nuance" huh... it's a textbook example of 'privilege', no nuance required. Generally, men have certain 'privileges', women have them, able-bodied people have them, etc... When it comes to being a RUclipsr, being very attractive is a 'privilege'.
And that's where collectivism fails you entirely. No individual is privileged over another based solely on demographic. A blind homeless male orphan born with no legs is less 'privileged" than a wealthy+healthy woman. I think it is you who needs to step out of your shoes and realize that people cannot be judged by demographics.
I think what also helps with Jess' videos is that she's also singing. Instrumentals don't seem to do as well as videos of performers who sing. That's not to diminish the accomplishments of either, but I think people find vocal performances to be more palatable than instrumentals only
She definitely plays the thumbnail game to her advantage. I think that's what everybody gets at when they're saying she has "female privilege." Her talent is what keeps our attention, but she knows a lot of male viewers are going to click on her videos if she poses for her thumbnails just right
Listening with your eyes has actually changed the way people play guitar. A lot of guitar players today want to be able to play up and down the neck of the guitar. They spend lots of time learning the same scale in many positions. If you go back to the 70s a lot of guitar players don't use that many positions. Machine gun by Hendrix is one of the most insane solos I have ever heard, and most of it is the basic pentatonic scale you learned in your first guitar lesson. If you go back even further the Mickey Baker Jazz method published in 1959 teaches riffs in only two positions. Playing all over the neck looks cool, yet most of the guitarist who only use a few positions end up having more ideas. They have less to worry about. I am not judging. I am guilty of this as well being a part of this new generation of guitar players. I am not saying this is good or bad, just different. Thanks for the video. You have many great points.
I have made peace with the fact that there will be people much younger than me but more talented than my heroes. Music isn't a talent competition, and the most complex and technical song is not for sure going to be the best one; there's more depth to it than that. This is why more people look up to people like Kurt Cobain than someone like Yngwie; sometimes less is more and tastefullness appeals to people more than skill. Just being unique and being creative is the most fufilling and probably the most productive thing you can do when it comes to music. If you wanna make millions playing music, yeah you gotta be a model too now for that extra dimension of marketing appeal. Of course there will always be a taste for complex music as well, and frankly, it's more fun to write and play (at least for me).
PANICBLADE While your intro is correct, Cobain is not more popular than Yngwie because less is more. Cobain is more popular today because: 1) He was a douche bag junkie-turd who by some miracle hit the scene at a time when even top models had to look like douche bag junkie turds! 2) He made mindless annoying teenage rampage pop hits unlike Yngwie, who actually composes real, exceptional and devinely inspiring music by virtue of extensive music knowledge and a burning desire to extract as much beauty, wrath and drama as possible from that knowledge by means of super hard earned eminent skills. 3) He is fucking dead! If people wanted real and well composed music Glenn's points above would fall apart entirely now, wouldn't they?
Poul Winther Knudsen "If people wanted real and well composed music, Glenn's points would fall apart wouldn't they?" And there is your trap. You believe complex, talented, and technical music to be good music because you want an objective angle to judge music by. Your 2nd point only digs the hole deeper. Fine. Replace Cobain with Black Sabbath, or Cream, or Led Zeppelin, and the point is equally valid. That point is, simpler and catchier music is more appealing and therefore more popular. You seem to agree with this yet argue with me anyway.
PANICBLADE Trap?? The trap you keep falling deeper and deeper into instead of actually educating yourself a bit about the subject YOU initiated is that Yngwie can express more awe inspiring content with three notes than Cobain did in his entire miserable luck-built disaster of a career. And please do everyone a huge favor and never even MENTION the Godfathers of Metal in the same sentence as those winers who almost succeeded in killing off metal for good!
Mr. Glenn Fricker I really enjoy your videos you're both funny with a touch of intelligence at a little bit of reality to keep us grounded, kudos to you my friend!
Thank you for this video, you nailed it 100%. We need more musicians with the guts to be themselves and also to be ready for rejection, which it will be a significant part of their path. It's not bad, it simply is. If you really love music, play it! - Yngwie Malmsteen
I really love this video and its message! I will show this to my bandmates for sure! It is very true that most of the people listens with their eyes and not their ears. And yes, life is unfair so we have no choice but to deal with it. And dealing with it means doing something that will help the "talent aspect" of being a musician, and that means you and/or your band must be the whole package! Cheers from the Philippines, Glen! And more power to SMG!
So funny yet so true! It's called SHOW business. That means you better know how to put on a, you guessed it, A SHOW! And not just live shows. With RUclips you have to become a video production expert, a stylist, an art director, a lighting tech, a sound engineer and above all, a marketing God. Few will, most wont. Please keep making some of the most entertaining and informative videos on RUclips. Bravo, Glenn!
I agree with your fundamental point. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd smash her guitar. But I agree, music is music. It is an audible media not a visual one. But if people are more prepared to listen to basic open chords performed by someone with giant tits, than appreciate a band like Meshuggah because the Visual aspect is less appealing, then, ultimately that is their own loss. A. Wagner, why would she be between your legs?
+A. Wagner Totally with you on that. I never understood people's obsession with lyrics. I don't mind lyrics, but I consider them the least important instrument. Anyone thinking bass is the least important-- If I cut 250hz and below, they'll see how damn wrong that assertion is.
Sage words, man. And thanks for dropping Rob Scallon ( and indirectly, Sarah Longfield!) into your rant...not only do BOTH of these folks have a slightly squicked sense of humor, but they BOTH ROCK!
100% correct Glen, from babies to old men and even the ladies to a maybe a lesser degree, we ALL love em. Tiddies sell stuff...from music to laundry soap. They make the world a better place.
It's not just aesthetic but also what you play. A guy who shreds like a god might not have the creative mind to properly use those great abilities. A good example of great abilities not being that related making good music is Jack White. He's not a great guitar player and kind of a one trick pony but he's got a very unique style and has made some really great music. But you're very right on one thing and that's something I've thought for a while - talent is everywhere. If you're a musician on the road, on each town you play there'll be at least a few great guitarists and probably ones that can outplay you. The question is, can they make better music, or content? Who cares who can play the best if nothing that you play sounds all that good or unique. That makes you a good player and performer but because that's not uncommon it holds no real value. It's that combined with the ability to stand out and make good music that's important, combined with an amount of luck.
Apocryphal anecdote: When Gerswin asked Ravel for some composition lessons, Ravel replied, "Why would you want to be the world's second best ravel when you can be the world's best gershwin?"
I subbed at 2:00 mins in, because you are absolutely right. You know what I HATE the most about her viewers? Shes got an Acoustic guitar with grime layers on it so thick that you can see where the only polishing the fretboard gets is from fingerslips/slides, and people will comment saying "Wow that guitar neck, shows so much stress and wear from years and years of playing." Making up excuses for her not taking all of her strings off and deep cleaning and conditioning her fretboard from time to time. Yes she is a great performer as well, I will say that.
Glen, love your videos and keep carrying the torch! Spent a decade in the industry preaching the same exact stuff! Also, help the crusade against bass players playing 16th notes...slow their roles!

Did you ever see Healy play? I walked upon a new years performance of Healy in London Ontario a few years before he died...had no idea he was playing and I caught wind of this guitar sound and style which I was drawn towards --- I don't know much about Healy but that night he became one of my favorites.
oooh ok, I think I misunderstood your comment. I see so much negativity on youtube comments I guess I assumed you were saying only Geddy Lee could play haha
Wow, I love your work man. Especially your F1 theme. It's amazing. All of us F1 fans thank you for it. I'm sure that everyone in F1 loves it, so once again, a huge thanks for your work. :)
4:26 Same laws of physics and biochemistry in Belgium. Love your channel dude, brutaly honest clips. Cheers! I(I used to be a professional cyclist, who happens to love music as well, those two I combine on my channel. Its damn right, be yourself)
You can play every scale there is and technique , what it really boils down to is can you write a good song. I think Steve Via and Marty Friedman are perfect examples of that.
So many great points in this vid. One being, people hear with their eyes. Fair? Of course not, but it is absolutely true. And sad but true, gimmicks can be wildly successful. A lot of people would call it selling out. 99.9% of those people will never be successful as performing artist. You definitely dropped some knowledge in this vid Glen.
AlphaLemming My jaw drops everytime i see him playing, not because of the sound which is comming from the guitar, but how fast his fingers moves because honestly... i've never heard a single memorable thing from him.
Nah, more like Joe Pass or Wes Montgomery. But even then, I think those guys just kind of had "it". There's also a lot of natural talent that comes into play that most people will never achieve.
The thing is that musicians don't realise that people listen with their eyes too and this can be a blessing in disguise! Give a good stage performance and people won't even notice that you're not pitch perfect,or missed a note and even if they notice, they'll be forgiving, because they had a good time! I got first hand experience-as Jack of all trades in numerous bands,I was always making mistakes and people wouldn't give a sh§t....
You are darn correct when u say "People listen with their eyes not their ears" . Back in those days we would talk a bout the strumming of the guitar, the rolling of the drums;the technique used by the lead guitarist. Nowadays People would talk about what he is wearing, how he dance, how he moves, how he blink etc
Take a look at Megadeth - Chris Broedrick probably had more technical knowledge than any other guitarist to play in the band. He was a machine. BUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.......his solos were mediorce and he couldn't emulate what the others (Friedman and Poland mainly) could do. Friedman used exotic scales, Poland had that hand thing allowing him to do great bends, a jazz background, drugs and a rivalry with 1980s Mustaine (they once destroyed a toilet in a fight, so yeah). Talented or not, you don't have that. So write some great, passionate, original material, and you will get what you think you deserve. Showing the BPM you can shred at, we've seen. Its boring.
Goabnb94 I can think of one solo that blew anything I'd heard previously out of the water by him though. 1320 was absolutely insane, it was shred to it's absolute limits and I loved that about it.
I disagree that you NEED to look good or have crazy presentation. That's if you want width, not *DEPTH*. Large fanbase, yes, but is that fanbase loyal and are they invested in who you are as a person and what you're all about?
You're right, personality, identity/background, and songwriting are also important factors, however, you're kidding yourself if you believe skill will give you a solid and loyal fanbase. Not everyone appreciates skill.
Hahaha, it's so funny that Chad Kroeger gets so much flack for how unattractive he is, but brass tacks, if I woke up tomorrow on the same level of attractiveness as him, I'd be pretty fucking stoked.
People become very pessimistic when this subject is brought up, but it is 100% true. It is important to remember that the goal is to find what you are already good at that makes you unique. Many superstars were already beautiful before fame, or they already had entertaining personalities, or unique viewpoints. All they did was learn how to harness their gift to unleash their full potential (also, they put in a ton of hard work). If you weren't born beautiful, don't cry or call the world unfair. Instead, find your own gift and apply it.
Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Keep preachin', brother! Love your content.

Devin Townsend isn't ugly. Man, what are you smoking these days?
He'll tell you that himself, man.
I mean, besides, that's how he wants to portray himself:
i.ytimg.com/vi/VvgIN9IIWU4/hqdefault.jpg
But that slick shiny head tho!
Nah nah, kidding kidding. I totally dig what you're saying. I think the whole "we're ugly" thing is just one of Devy's running jokes and he's used his "distinctive" appearance to his advantage; almost as much as the wet/dry mix on his reverb plugin. :D
he's funny and the music is good. that carries a lot of weight right there. Charisma
My god that's horrid!
Great story
No you didnt
you had me until "fuck meritocracy"... like just because it isnt real doesnt mean its worthless
Watching this again 3 years later and I can say it's very noticeable how your guitar playing has improved Glen. I love this channel.
Ty!
Bad publicity is better than no publicity, people talking about it will spread to more people
Harry exept you look bad
Some people will check it out themselves just to see how bad something really is
For example Vox called out PewDiePie for advertising the racist and white supremacist channel E;R. I checked it out and it's great stuff.
sadly true! we have xxxtentacion for example...
Worked for Mortal Kombat and GTA San Andreas
So don't worry about being 'famous" or making it. Make music you love.
I love this guy! Glen's rants are EPIC!
link to the Japanese player?
www.google.com
great and now TELL US WHAT TO GOOGLE because i can't for fucks sake make out his name.
Hiroaki Tagawa
Psuedo Nym "Blind Japanese guitarist" you fucking morons.
djteac just type average asian kid
what you said about preferring to see someone make a living off youtube than spend six days a week on an assembly line has changed my view on youtubers that i see recently.
We got major hate for covering Linkin Park's new track in a Nu Metal way. Even Chester himself dissed it on Twitter. But it got us a lot of traffic so fuck it :D
Bloodywood You covered a nu metal band in a nu metal way?
I really wouldn't call the song "Heavy" nu metal, it's straight up pop honestly.
Well, Chester did give the biggest FUCK YOU to the fans when adressing the backlash.
6:44 Didn't know coverkillernation plays bass in a band.
Fr3akymet4l lol. I'm dying
"We don't need another PanterA!" - Ofcourse, we need THE ONLY PANTERA!
We need Dimebag
That clip of Steeley Dan is exactly what I think of when I think about how you could be ugly as fuck but still make it as successful musicians in the 70s.
What your avatar means? I saw it somewhere...
Yea, Pink Floyd's Crossed Hammers.
Out of every video you have done, this is by far my favourite.
Yay for actually using the term "female privilege"!!! :D
In the context of gaining RUclips popularity, it is a significant (unearned) advantage -- ie. privilege.
That was a really respectful comparison, you treated both with respect, well done. This isn't common enough, thanks for having a healthy viewpoint.
I think that's what everybody gets at when they're saying she has "female privilege." Her talent is what keeps our attention, but she knows a lot of male viewers are going to click on her videos if she poses for her thumbnails just right
"Her talent is what keeps our attention" alt facts
Gerry Blue Keeps ≠ draws.
This is true too. Most people won't listen to instrumental anything. They want lyrics.
It does seem as tho straight up acoustic and singing is on the rise more and more lately. Or maybe it's always been like that idfk lol
Cobain is more popular today because:
1) He was a douche bag junkie-turd who by some miracle hit the scene at a time when even top models had to look like douche bag junkie turds!
I strongly suggest looking into the man's body of work before making too many butt hurt comebacks ;-)
Poul Winther Knudsen "If people wanted real and well composed music, Glenn's points would fall apart wouldn't they?"
And there is your trap.
Poul Winther Knudsen "instead of actually education yourself..."
Mr. Glenn Fricker I really enjoy your videos you're both funny with a touch of intelligence at a little bit of reality to keep us grounded, kudos to you my friend!
So much truth in this video... so fun to watch...
#MakeTruthFunAgain
Thank you for this video, you nailed it 100%. We need more musicians with the guts to be themselves and also to be ready for rejection, which it will be a significant part of their path. It's not bad, it simply is. If you really love music, play it! - Yngwie Malmsteen
I miss those. It's Great to see actual content instead of boring Q&A. No hate though.
Lol not even the devil wants Nickleback Glenn
I prefer girls with teeth.
Yeah, me to...
someone cant tell a joke
Sheena Shaw I know this is probably a troll but they did a track with Flo Rida.
superblonde You so far have the best reply to my comment
So funny yet so true! It's called SHOW business. That means you better know how to put on a, you guessed it, A SHOW! And not just live shows. With RUclips you have to become a video production expert, a stylist, an art director, a lighting tech, a sound engineer and above all, a marketing God. Few will, most wont. Please keep making some of the most entertaining and informative videos on RUclips. Bravo, Glenn!
Tbh, I'm not really a fan of that chick guitarist, I never got behind her.
Giggity
arsenalfanrichi Lol I see what you did there...
arsenalfanrichi broo😂
I agree with your fundamental point. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd smash her guitar. But I agree, music is music. It is an audible media not a visual one. But if people are more prepared to listen to basic open chords performed by someone with giant tits, than appreciate a band like Meshuggah because the Visual aspect is less appealing, then, ultimately that is their own loss.
A. Wagner, why would she be between your legs?
+A. Wagner
Totally with you on that.
I never understood people's obsession with lyrics.
I don't mind lyrics, but I consider them the least important instrument.
Anyone thinking bass is the least important--
If I cut 250hz and below, they'll see how damn wrong that assertion is.
Sage words, man. And thanks for dropping Rob Scallon ( and indirectly, Sarah Longfield!) into your rant...not only do BOTH of these folks have a slightly squicked sense of humor, but they BOTH ROCK!
Honestly I am surprised that the blind guy isn't more popular, a blind guy playing guitar like that is one of the most badass things ever
LOVE IT! Always an awesome video, always an awesome watch! Keep up the amazing work!
Hardest working member of the SMG Crew: the Distressor.
I noticed it too. I even googleed it to see the gain reduction. Am I a geek? Nice leveling out there!
100% correct Glen, from babies to old men and even the ladies to a maybe a lesser degree, we ALL love em. Tiddies sell stuff...from music to laundry soap. They make the world a better place.
You should check Sarah Longfield if you want to see a talented female guitarist !
+Aenima Call she's awesome! So bummed I missed her at Namm!
@Max Campo Imagine my shock.
You sir, are my favourite person on the internet ever!
Keep up the good work :)
Just found your channel and I absolutely love your videos! Very wise words my friend.
Apocryphal anecdote: When Gerswin asked Ravel for some composition lessons, Ravel replied, "Why would you want to be the world's second best ravel when you can be the world's best gershwin?"
Smartass was afraid Gershwin will kick him out the top spot.
Yes she is a great performer as well, I will say that.
spot on and even if I'm better than you as a player I'm not mad at you for getting an endorsement... cheers
Glen, love your videos and keep carrying the torch! Spent a decade in the industry preaching the same exact stuff! Also, help the crusade against bass players playing 16th notes...slow their roles!
glenn i like your guitar playing. it's not paul gilbert but it's really cool in its own right.
Andy Thomas agreed glenn has a tight picking hand, and he had great timing
John Clock that's because he has to teach drummers to count day in and day out.
John Clock I bet it's not only because of picking tho
Did you ever see Healy play? I walked upon a new years performance of Healy in London Ontario a few years before he died...had no idea he was playing and I caught wind of this guitar sound and style which I was drawn towards --- I don't know much about Healy but that night he became one of my favorites.
Every member of Rush is an ugly dude, but dang. They could play.
Gatsby Lee King Only Geddy Lee really
crazyerko what about neil??
The Chad Pad ai dont think he's exactly ugly. A bit lanky back the day maybe
oooh ok, I think I misunderstood your comment. I see so much negativity on youtube comments I guess I assumed you were saying only Geddy Lee could play haha
I dunno. I never liked them and once I saw this vid the dude nailed it for me ... ruclips.net/video/7GLzBdaqnLk/видео.html
lol this intro is too funny! Dude you’re guitar rocks!!! luv the blue~
Nailed it
Wow, I love your work man.
I've got it made. I'm a handsome fucker like Glenn.
Glen you are such a bad ass. I've watched a lot of your videos but this one stands out. Nice work!
If music were a meritocracy, every kid would be issued a Michelangelo Batio discography at birth.
AlphaLemming Speed≠ Skill. He is great but not the best.
Robbivlogz agreed, I mostly used
him as an example because of his mix of top notch skill and less than stellar looks.
Technical skill ≠ talent for making good songs.
I absolutely love the fact you have no fear to say what you think, infinit respect from Australia 🤘🤘
"The answer is no, so f... off!" :D :D :D That was the most beautiful reply I've ever heard :D :D :D
Been a while since I've kept up with your videos. These organized rants made me remember why I subbed. Keep up the good work, mate.
I said fuck it and became a doctor so I could support my music habit. The only one I have to please is me
I love this honest viewpoint. My compatriot, Rabbie Burns, would be proud...let's raise a glass to Keeping it Live !
I've never seen an angry Canadian outside of hockey before. Keep up the good work! Love you channel.
7:54 I friggin laughed my ass how he was sooo confident about it
Wow, so many good points in this video. Welcome back, good old Glenn.
Mentions "manufactured bands"
Sex Pistols: "Don't forget about us."
oof level max: OOF
As a Sex Pistols "fan" I truly hoped they would be on that list.
suspected a boring rant due to the intro comment. Surprisingly refreshing vid!
Press & Repeat ---> 8:04
Elias Altman same
I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work. Take care, Sam.
Great advice about large and deep fanbases from two guys who have neither.
You have right ! Thanks for your opinion. Cheers from France.
I'm having a hard time finding the devils contact info plz help
You're gonna need to find a crossroads, a picture of yourself, some graveyard dirt, and a bone from a black cat lolol
@SpectreSoundStudios . I love you. One of the best channels here.
Hahaha, it's so funny that Chad Kroeger gets so much flack for how unattractive he is, but brass tacks, if I woke up tomorrow on the same level of attractiveness as him, I'd be pretty fucking stoked.
I think you look better than him tbh but thats just from your pfp
Oh dude! Love your videos... great contents indeed! 😎🤘🏻
Oh JessGreenberg? She can play Hendrix. Really good. THAT VOODOO CHILD (SLIGHT RETURN) COVER IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD
People become very pessimistic when this subject is brought up, but it is 100% true.
