My official entry for the LU Live Film Festival(Rise of the Gaming Gods). It took me more than 150 hours to do this within two weeks during finals. I just used Adobe photoshop to edit the sprites and used Adobe imageready and Windows movie maker for the animation.. But i enjoyed doing it. I hope you'll appreciate it.

I use a server called XatiyaRo it's a Spanish server. a lot of dialogs are in spanish but many others in english like they were too lazy to translate them all.
Thanks to Ragnarok I met my girlfriend (and who will be mi wife) 7 years ago. I love this game, the people I met there (sadly we just forgot each other with the past of the time), the special moments there and all the things that happened to me there. This is the only game that changed my life and I'll always play it or even listen the BGM with a smile in my face. It's a corny message, but it's all the truth :)
Hahahaha don't worry man, i know exactly how you feel, my experience may not be with ragnarok as i just started playing it. But with grand fantasia another mmo i had so many unforgettable experiences on there, and it made me the person i am today, before i played it i was very reserved, but afterwards because of the great community i'm now a more open person, irl and online after just 1 year of playing i changed so much, i learnt so much about so many things mostly about relationships and how much they can hurt and human nature, its amazing how people can convey their feelings so much online (even if they are fake you can tell) and how real all these people are. Its the people who make an mmo fun, an mmo without people is not worth playing. And you're really lucky you were able to hold onto her for so long, mine wasn't able to stand the distance. Are you two in different countries?

It ended because of the time itself... we met when we were 18 ys, and once we became adult, I think we growth in different ways, and we lost those that make us stay together at the beginning. btw, I still have good memories in those young years playing RO with my friends (and I still play sometimes!).

Eating pancit canton and 12oz coke while grinding. Those were the golden days. Now i can buy hundreds of pancit canton and coke, but not the precious times and memories. I really want to go back and experience the feelings, and the friendship that was built because of ragnarok online. Its 2024 and still the best game for me.

I've watched this a few times now, always enjoy it. I used to think the lesson here was never trust an RO sprite the boys and girls are never really boys and girls. Today I came to a new conclusion. Stalkers are the smartest characters in Rune MIdgard. When Morroc came to town it seems like all the stalkers decided to stay home. So the morale of this story, never trust someone with a job title like stalker to have your back when a giant demonic ape runs through town.
