Planning a trip to Ho Chi Minh this year. Wow, didn't know there was a crocodile farm, meat & leathergoods as well. Would like to visit this place and check out what they have. Amazing vlog
Going to Saigon should be definitely on everyone's bucket list. The people are friendly and hardworking and the city is interesting and totally different from most anything you have ever seen.
The crocodiles don't need a lot of space but you also need a chicken farm and chicken food. Could be interesting to do a full chain comparison but that's maybe for another place.
Thanks, man. It's something I think a lot about. Adding production value while trying (and failing) to keeping that authentic, raw RUclips vibe. Can be tough to add polish without slipping into that overly staged TV style.
I loved my visit to Vietnam. The people there are very welcoming. After going to Hamburger Hill and seeing the war museums, I shall never be the same. They are still suffering from the war, as Agent Orange has presented health issues. Please, for anyone able, donate to help their cleanup project. There are crocodile farms throughout Asia. I got my crocodile skin wallet in Cambodia.
Andrew, do you run into many people in Vietnam with Spina Bifida or neural tube/spinal cord defects? My father served there and was exposed to Agent Orange, the chemical agent linked to many cases of American children born with these birth defects. I’m curious if you see the repercussions of its use in Vietnam. As always, great job on the documentary.
When I was a kid, many times, I was a victim of agents orange. We know it's a poison chemical American used it to deforest, and nobody knows it can cause cancer. Usually, American airplanes sprayed A.O. at night, and somehow, the winds carry over the town. the next morning, my eyes are swollen shut, and my mouth and nose are very inching , some people scratch until they are bleeding. Some have to go to the hospital because of breathing problems. I was very sick and stayed indoors for days. We had to shield windows and doors with plastic bags. Many people their skin got infected look terrible. During the rainy season, water washed all chemicals into rivers, and American planes keep coming for more Agent Orange. Agent orange, not only deforestation, it's destroyed all the fruit trees, vegetables, rice fields, anything that is growing on the ground will wipe out within days. Animals suffer, too. As a farmer, my family suffered greatly, and I had no words to explain how angry we were. During the war, VN is the most toxic place on earth.
Vietnamese here. I can confirm that there are so MANY people with those repercussions of Agent Orange. SO SO SO Many. There lives are so miserable. But the one thing makes me angry that no one takes any responsible for that WAR CRIME
