Best video ever. Thanks for your input. I listened! So far so good. I am using up stash both in fabric and batting so it takes a little longer to prep. Using a Baby Lock Crescendo w/ a walking foot and a Jeans #16 needle. No problems so far. Definitely a learning curve.

It's good to find out some things to consider when running into such problems myself

You poor thing! I hate when I run into issues and have to keep starting over! What fabric did you use that wasn’t working out? I’m hoping to make, or at least, start a jelly roll rug this year and I don’t want to have to keep restarting because of the fabric being difficult! Thank you for the tips with stitch length, tension and that the fabric matters! I hope you can get your rugs all completed! Sometimes you just need to walk away from a project to realize what was going wrong! I wish I could take your class, but I don’t love anywhere near you which makes me sad! Maybe I can find a class in northern CA the next time I’m visiting family!

What was the brand of fabric did you use that didn't work? Looks like Kona cotton?
