Best part of this makeover are the staghorns!!! Stunning architectural display!!
The natural color of the fence was beautiful. Didn't need paint. It looked brand new.
LOVE the staghorns on your new wall.
This is bright cheery and useable x
I love it! I could picture myself relaxing in that courtyard.
Those Staghorns are amazing. What a great job you guys. Sooooo cool!
from sad and overlooked to beautiful
Looks so much more inviting. Job well done.
Just love how his little dog accompanies him on all his jobs.
Well done Tara, and Jason.. great to see that your still doing what you do best !!
I love your floral plants and your innovations... You give life n color to backyards
Very lovely 🌹 congratulations
The Staghorns are beautiful!
Aww this is a beautiful transformation! Very clever 🤩
Wish I could live in a house with that garden
Are you in a flat? If so do container gardening
What a makeover Well played. Love your native plants. Come to Johannesburg!
VERY creative, great ideas and execution, and lovely hosts! Well done!
That wooden bench is full of dirt, it should preferably been washed off with washing soda before any paint is applied, the dirt and probably mosses lessens the paint gripping on the wood which will easily be blistering soon after the first winter.
I would have power sanded it.
thats the one thing I noticed, if it was me renovating that bench I would have taken the boards off, sanded, and painted them on top and underneath, then painted the seat frame as well and re assembled it with new bolts.
Binging on Great Home Ideas today !!😊 Love what you did , Great job . Thank for all the great ideas you give us !! 💛🧡💚💙
This is actually a really long paint add.
Plz make videos for small space apartment balconies utilizing it for laundary areas including cloth drying area for sundrying or a beautuful balcony garden.
For the first time i saw someone painting an old fence. In many renovations videos, i saw people replacing an old fence with a new one that was just the same. With paint and work the old one would be just as new.
Fabulous looks great
My old neighbor had a huge staghorn in her entryway. She kept feeding it bananas which are high in potassium and staghorns. She eventually donated her staghorn to her favorite hotel casino in Reno, California, making a grand statement in one of their lobby’s. It grew to the size of space which you’ve hung your four staghorns.
My grandmother has a staghorn that has been growing in her courtyard (in the Texas Gulf Coast region) since the '70s and is at least 1.5 meters in diameter. It hangs from a beam and looks like a green-antlered wrecking ball, haha.
So cute! I'd love to have something like this at my house!
Looks so great and colorful! Nice job. 🌷🌸
Why would you paint that natural wood it looks so good with the brick?
Beautiful
Just perfect!
Home and garden videos make people with no experience in renos think that they can decorate with no pre cleaning or prepping.....the most important part of a Reno.
The space looks more inviting now though.
Enjoyed from Texas!
I would have preferred a stain and seal on that wooden fence. It seemed to be in very good condition. Too much painting on wood lately, especially good woods.
@jude jackson I was worried they were going to paint the frame bright blue to go with that 'lovely' yellow
It's a TV show. If there isn't any colour then everything looks boring.
I would have left the wood as well. White fences look nice for about 6 months and then they look dirty, and start getting mossy or moldy looking.
I like the white in a dark courtyard, and that was not fascinating wood, just 2nd grade pine.it would quickly go grey and dreary.
In the tropics where we live, anything outdoor with wood will be destroyed by heavy rains in no time. Really like to have all fittings in wood. Great makeover and enjoy this idea.
Which is why they primed and painted the timber.
wowwwww 😮😯😯 touch wood
Very gripping ...minute after minute getting more and more interesting .Love the finale ❤😮❤❤.
Absolutely beautiful!
Wonderful!!
That video was such an entertaining paint commercial 😂
Wow never seen anything like those unusual plants on the wall. They have done a beautiful job on that area. Doesn’t look tacky or cheap. 🦋
Those are Capa de Leon
@@HelenTadle thank you appreciate info.
That is beautiful.
Who paints things white in a dark sweater and pants? Love the ideas.
Wonderful suggestions and tips.
so cozy and inviting!
Wowwwww xx
I love this ..
Beautiful just beautiful
Wow superb..👍❤️
What is Jason doing now? I often wonder what he did next. Lovely project, low budget with such a big impact, I would love those stag horns
I think the feature wall may have looked better with a slightly lighter grey background and more colourful plants. The staghorns look like cabbages. Sorry to say but that wall is a miss not a hit.
I agree--it's the only thing I don't like about the project.
I think there were too many stations-- over-kill.
Why did he first paint the wall white and then dark gray ?? The staghorns are overdone. One or two would have looked better. Plants with White flowers would have looked even better.
I thought it was a vegetable garden with lettuce...must have missed the explanation.
Beautiful transformation
מעולה !!! Wow !!!👍👍👍❤❤❤
That looks wonderful.
Really miss Jason...Wish he was still on the show.
Totally beautiful!!
So so cool
Beautiful.
Beautiful...
Very cute!

Amazingly beautiful
Great work!
Wow 🤩 love it 😍

I love it.
LOVE IT 👍
This is beautiful 🤩
Hermoso👍👍👍
Love it 🥰🥰🥰
Fantastic 😊
The greenery was nice
great job!
Well done.
Love it....would like to see it all lit up at night.......and Hello Australia from US!!!!!!!!
The beautiful stag horns, textured mounting wall (domino is a very dark colour, I hope the stag horns don’t fry in the sun) and choice to use a native white climber Hardenbergia violaceae ‘Snow White’ took great. The white fence will merge with the white neighbours property. The welded sculptural tops to the rebar are awesome. The yellow and pink are not to my taste. Bring Jason back too.
Excellent...the only thing I would have done differently, was not put white flowers against the white fence. I would have chosen yellow or pink. But it is still beautiful.😊🐝❤
I would've had paint all over that sweater by the end of that project 😑
There not the ones doing the painting except for the taping !
Why didn't you wash off the bench b4 painting it the paint will probably chip off sooner than later all in all I liked the results
So good 😃
so good
If it s ast 5 years it s a miracle.
I’m the girl who says “please don’t paint over brick.” Someday painted brick will go out of style and the paint will not come off.
I really enjoying watching your channel. However, I’d like to see some product list link such as colors you use, tools, lumber types & etc
Im from indian ..i like ur videos😍
My favorite channel... 💕 Greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Everything except those plants on the wall.
Staghorns are great.
My favourite part is the stag horn ferns!
I love the ideas that went into this. It certainly made that ugly blank canvas, look heaps better! Also, way more practical to use. I really loved how you disguised the pipes and added a handy bench too. However, those pops of colour (yellow and pink) will date pretty quickly. Also two staghorns would have been plenty - as they need room to grow. I'd have incorporated smaller jarva ferns, in between to keep the humidity high and add points of interest. Or even some of that Dichondra silver falls, that went into the pots. They would have popped beautifully, against that dark feature wall, and tied back into the fence.
Beautiful! But did I miss it? What did you do with the pink painted bird cage?
@Ramona Bennet, I wondered the same. It's there hanging along the brick wall, but nothing inside. @9:39
@@mexicas6637 Good eye Cassie!
Nice video, but seems like a commercial for Dulux paints.
Jason please name those plants up against the fence...I agree with the Star Jasmin comment...they will grow leggy in that space for sure.
I just can’t believe anyone would paint in that lovely jumper. They just wouldn’t.
Painting terracotta pots! Why? Best to get colours from 🌸 💐🌷
I’d be covered in paint after ten minutes with that jumper on!
sigh... it's snowing here in sweden right now :/
I'm not partial to the yellow door or bench, more of a blue, green, turquoise person with some pink...
I'm from india

I have that gnome !
Great job. Please tell me the name of the vine that was planted. I didn't understand what he said. Thanks.
Hardenbergia
@@anniespringate2401 Thank you so much. I even used close caption and it didn't pick this up.
Wonderful plant, Bunnings has ‘happy duo’ hardenbergia purple & white together they look amazing & flower for months during winter
What about those exposed drain pipes??
Can you come and do something with my backyard like a facelift? 😊
Why would you paint the outside white? I think you should've left the fence and wall natural. Especially since the lot has no trees and it isn't a naturally green place. I would think a more natural color, such as sage green, might be an improvement -- if you're determined to paint. 🙂
I love the staghorn display, though; it's beautiful.
