Dude has to be a top 3 back of all time in his prime he can stand against any back
Idk if I’d go that far but he was really damn good
Nfl films called. Your already hired
NFL FILMS called. They said thy quit and u got it
🤣🤷♂️
For real, great job@@AnotherSportsChannel
4real..dude you got talent..real talent for telling and making a story
I remember this game as a Vikings fan, simply amazing.
I remember this game as a Chargers fan 😂
As a Vikings fan I remember being annoyed that a Charger also set or tied a record with a 109 yard return TD in that game.
Tomlinson fan going into that game and came away like “wow. I think the title of best back in the league just changed hands in from of our eyes in 60 mins”
Bro I swear listening to you narrate and watching feels like I'm watching an actual ESPN/NFL Films production. Real good quality stuff. Also the first nfl game I ever went to was the 2007 Vikings vs cowboys game in Irving, I was 13 at the time
Yup
That's fire! Appreciate the support as well
AD is top 5 all time and his record will stand for at least 20 yrs if not forever. The game has moved so far away from running backs nowadays. It will be hard to break that record now.
AD is nowhere near top 5. Top-10 running backs aren't just physical specimans who pule up a lot of yards, they're guys that can be counted on when the big games are on the line. Adrian Peterson was a fumbling machine, especially in the playoffs. He cost the Vikings a Super Bowl berth in the loss to the Saints, and a playoff loss to the Seahawks at home. How many of his huge rushing games were two very long runs where he burst through a big hole and outran everybody? That looks great on the stat sheet, but it wasn't the kind of consistent running that helped the Vikings wear down teams and consistenlty win games.
You make really good videos
Thanks 🙏
If I recall, Devin Hester got 2 return TDs that day as well keeping the game close for the Bears. It was like Devin Hester vs Adrian Peterson. What a game. Hester might have gotten a receiving TD as well. Don't quote me on this. I just remember it being DH vs AP like all day.
Adrian Peterson… he and Lt are my two favorite RBs ever
The combination of agility speed and power man .. 1 of 1
Die hard Viking Fan Here, He was our best ever🎉
Your videos are always so informative and amazing to watch keep it up
I appreciate that! Honestly
I have this feeling that eventually a running back will be in the NFL for like 10+ seasons, get over 1800 yards a season and never last more than 3 years on any team, bouncing from team to team and no one will notice how great he is until his final season when he retires.
Love Adrian Peterson as a OU fan he was my favorite running back ever Demarco Murray up there too
I thought this was Draymond Green narrating at first 😂
You’ll have a million subscribers in no time. Great content!
Maybe one day!
He ran for nearly 2000 yards his freshman year at OU. AP was always a monster when healthy
Do you remember his red River rivalry game that year?
@@schuylersavage276 I’ll never forget that season..especially the disappointing national championship game 🙃
@@ShroomDoggyDogg Leinart 5 TDs..lendale 2 TDs. Reggie 100 yards on 9 touches lol. Yeah that was fun. But 225 Vs Texas was great lol!
@@schuylersavage276 that Texas team was STACKED too!
Most scrimmage yards in a game (336) is probably more likely to go down than that rushing record because of the game is played today
underrated RUclipsr
🙏
Great video bro
If Peterson never got injured he woulda been way crazier
I agree. He had his best season ever after the injury, but he was way faster and more explosive before the injury.
You are dope and need more recognition!!!!
Chargers were not allowed to tackle LT at practice and it definitely shows
This game is exhilarating!!!!!
Great video, voice like butter
Wait what I just watched this and realized it only has 800 views. How??
🤷♂️
This is the game that locked me in, my sophomore year in high school! Been a “fan” since baby pictures but this game is the game that took me from a casual to having a big ass Vikings tattoo on my leg 😂
SKOLGANG
Ricky Williams was on his way to having a chance for this record in back to back weeks in 2002. He had 224 yards vs Buffalo through 3, and the very next week he had 195 yards after his 63 yard touchdown run with 9 minutes left in the 3RD. One game he only got 1 more carry, and the other they were up so much he only got a few more and they drives didn’t last long so it didn’t happen.
Anyone else know of other games like that? Where the record looked really in danger?
good vid bro
Appreciate it
Bihh I ran 305 yards wit Tony pollard on madden online 😭
I had AP going in fantasy that day
How many points did he get you?
@@ahumblelamb standard scoring - 48 points.
Greatest 7th round pick of my fantasy life.
I want to tell that kid AP is my favorite player.
It was amazing that he could juke and bounce off defenders, then outrun everyone on the field once he was loose.
Shit if I have 296 yards I’m getting 300
Damn I miss watching good running backs in the NFL. Seems like those days are gone.
It's fitting that the Vikings hold that record. When Walter broke it for 275 or 277It was against the Vikings. Really not that means nothing it's just A coincidence
Probably. Then again that Denver Cincinnati game when Corey Dillon past Walter Payton was crazy.
AD would’ve gotten over 300 yards, if not for the horse collar tackle late in the game.
Why do you sound like Draymond Green? 😂😂😂
crazy to think abt his home life during this time period. don’t look it up if you like him
You can’t even play defense in the NFL anymore. This record will be broken one day.
No it won't because today's running backs are soft and always injured also its a pass first league now they pass way more than they run,
liked and subbed. god stuff
Is this JxmmyHighroller for football
He was also the backup that game
I'll disagree. Even with the league going more pass happy, teams will always find a reason to run the ball. Also, the tandem backfired has always been a thing. Not every team has a talent like Adrian Peterson or derrick Henry. Speaking of Henry, he did come 46 yards shy of the second just a few years ago. I'd say with teams focusing more on passing, a team that invests in a brushing back might have a chance at the record. Since defenses will be getting smaller to compete with the speed of wide receivers. But none the less, you'll always have teams without qbs but having insane runnkngbacks that they will feed the ball. It will be broken one day
Only a matter of time and it will be broken. Just as all records end up being broken at some point.
Nice job but I can't stand how every sports video essay has to retell the athlete's entire backstory. It's like every batman/spiderman movie having the origin story in it. Not necessarily to keep reliving it lol this channel will be very successful though congrats on that!
I'm curious as to what actually led to the witch-hunt that was AP's arrest for using a switch on his kid. I find it hard to believe that it was actually because he used a switch on him.
ok but he could have had 300+ that game too. They took him out in the end of the 4th quarter
Nobody breaking his record because it’s not a run first league anymore nd half backs tail backs aren’t valued as much anymore
Nd bro gotta good video but he definitely sounds no where close to a NFL films voice y’all gotta be young
They don’t call him “ALL DAY” for nothing
It can only be broken in Madden
Imagine if he knew more Xs and Os.
Did he say starch reminder? 😂
Bros never heard of my retro bowl Running back💀
🌽🏀

Not gonna lie the run game has been over exaggerated there have been dozens of exceptional players at that position but there was always an qb and receiver holding the game down
👍
He abused the ball that day like it was his child.
I thought this was going to be about how no NFL player can ever beat the $12mil debt Adrien owes to the government.
Clickbait
Imagine if Petersen had Kirk Cousin a decent qb as his orchestrator smh man I don’t remember Petersen ever having a decent qb
