      I’m from Minneapolis , I remember when the Vikings came to Sheridan to rebuild our school playground that’s when AP was hurt he stopped and talked to all of the students even though he had security he’s a cool dude!

    The fact that AP had the chance to break ED rushing record for a season and Emmitt Smith all time rushing record just shows you how much of a beast he was

      He's not going to beat either record. you can have him. How many full seasons has he played? The Legendary infant beater has started in 16 games 3 times in his so far 13 year old career while playing for 5 teams. I'm not sure what criteria you live by but if he was such a legend why was he thrown out 4 times already???

    I’ll never forget that last game the last drive there was a carry that he would’ve broken the record but Adrian Peterson was running so hard he tripped himself

    As great as 2012 Adrian was. 2007 rookie Adrian will always be my favorite and his impact on the league was immense. A running backs physical peak will be their first year just from the hits and Adrian was a freak among freaks

    OJ in a 14 game season ran for 2,003 yards....he “WOULDVE” been the all time rushing leader by far had he played a 16 game season

      @@jthizzle5586 yeah he did it while playing for a team that was basically no threat to throw. The Bills didn't even complete 100 passes that year. Everybody knew he was going to get the ball and still couldn't stop him.

    Adrian Peterson would've shattered Eric Dickerson's record. I blame then head coach Leslie Frazier. Idk, seemed as if he didn't want him to break the record? In any case A.P. is a beast! One of the greatest & he's in my top 5 greatest rb's list.

      That's a lie and I'm a vikings fan.
      They were trying to make the playoffs and AD put the in fg range with 3 seconds left.
      If he wanted the record he should've got in the end zone, but he tripped at the 15

    I think Terrell Davis is upset he sat out the second half of 8 games and still went over 2k yards. Knowing he could have broken the record by a 1000 yards probably bothers him.

    Don't care what anyone says Terrell Davis is the greatest rb ever the year he almost broke the record he missed 4 games and 8 of those games he didn't even play in the 3 quarter and 2 of those games he only played 1 half because they were winning by to much he was only 97 yards of braking the record

      He was amazing, But availability is the best ability. Can't be the greatest ever if your last 3 seasons you play 17 total games before the age of 30. 60 TD's & less than 8k yards.

      There was like 8 seconds left and the Vikings were on the 11. They kicked a game winner field goal to win and go to the playoffs but if they handed it to Adrian he could’ve maybe got it maybe not🤷‍♂️ Coaches didn’t wanna chance it I suppose, but I remember watching that game wishing they handed it to him to get the record and the win on 1 last carry
