He was able to kill battle beast because battle beast injured himself for a fair fight. Thragg healed quickly but he had no fast healing.
Yeah basically a badly injured BB vs Post recovery Thragg even tho not fully recovered but still BB is more Injured, he could've won against Thragg on full power, but still no competition with Kryptonian
@@Havsue Correct and in fact there was 3 times durning their fight that Battle Beast could have Won but choose to let victory slip through his finger on the fact it would be cheat shots/seven against 1. Even the creator said the fight could have gone either way.
Also fun fact. Thragg was killed by a bite to the throat which was the Last attack BB was shown to try before having his heart ripped out. Thou BB missed and got Thragg eye/cheek. Since the huge blood lose would stop the Mad King healing factor.

But Thragg was severely injured before the fight too wasn’t he? I’m not as familiar with the Invincible comics but what I’ve read about them Thragg was badly wounded right at the start of the fight…I get his healing power but how could that really be a factor as he starts fighting BB while badly wounded and only taking more damage during the fight…it seems that if he won with both of them wounded than he probably wins at full strength right? I am more asking not telling

I watched Superman vs General Zod's Final Fight in Man of Steel and none of them even bleed during the fight and that just shows how durable Superman and General Zod are unlike Viltrumites who bleed during even just 20 seconds into the fight which is pretty pathetic

The movie versions lose easily. Thragg is like small planet level when zod and Superman were city level at best

Superman is under the sun since he was child absorbing the energy ,,while zod was there for few hours and already he was stronger than most viltrumites ,,,but superman is way stronger than him .

Zod definitely like Thragg gives a great fight but Zod is gonna blitz or just hold down and burn up the viltramite
You really think Zod would be able to hold down Thragg? Now i can see him beating thragg cause at the end he has more abilities at his disposal but Thragg isn't just some Viltrumite hes THE Viltrumite so the only way I'd see Zod pinning him down is with a dead Thragg

@@footyroll8678 zod has impressive showings. He colonized and currently lives on a planet orbiting two yellow stars.. this has accelerated his solar absorption. He has pummeled multiple green lanterns and has gone toe to toe with rogol zar, a threat that superman had difficulty with. All said, while I believe superman is more powerful, Zod isn't far behind, and BOTH are so far above thragg that it doesn't make a difference. Any of dc or marvel's physical powerhouses would make short work of thragg. Including hyperion, sentry, blue marvel, gladiator, beta ray bill, wonder woman, martian manhunter, black adam, shazam, Icon, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. Invincible characters just aren't written to be as powerful.
“Durability” lists things that are part of different categories than durability.
I say kryptonians win hands down. Funny thing though, the author of invincible has stated that invincible is stronger than Superman. Which sadly makes it canon until dc debunks this. Which bothers me.

The amount of wanking in this comment section is insane. Saying “oh but Zod has a rock and red sun weakness, Thragg can just zip over to a red sun or pull out some kryptonite”. NO, this is a straight up fight you people. There was no mention of kryptonite or them fighting over a red sun. Stop trying to give Thragg an obvious advantage, for no reason other than to say he’s stronger. In a straight up fight, LOGICALLY comparing feats rather than just going off of a one of smug comment that the invincible writer said, Zod would DEMOLISH Thragg, as many different variations of his character. I’m not saying that Thragg isn’t strong, but compared to Zod and Superman, looking at feats and fights they have won, they are on a WHOLE nother level. He died in the Sun for gods sake. Many variations of Zod could destroy the sun as a warm up. He can destroy planets, while three viltrumites were needed to destroy a dying planets. A kryptonian viltrumite that gets stronger as he ages and ages even more slowly, while being powered by the sun would be insane. Maybe even somewhat immune to kryptonite

Also depending on lore, the guradians on OA let it happen as they feared the power of them. Meanwhile a virus was made that killed vilrumiltes off. What I find interesting is kyponitians were known for the DNA and genetic splicing ability. It seems to me the creator of vilrumites just copy paste kyponitians, gave different name and lore making poor man version aka vilrumites.
The author can say that and adapt that to his stories, but from whomever came first and how they were written that cant be true especially since he has no right to superman, it was simply bias cause i would want my character that i made up better than the original but sadly you cant beat the original.

When Zod learned that Clark's power came from the sun, a yellow star...he himself went to a system that had 5 yellow stars. That inately makes him 5 times stronger than Superman. Clark has never beat Zod with brute force.
Kryptonians are several hundred power levels above Viltrumites. A single Kryptonian could stop the entire Viltrumites race without much trouble.
And then the viltumites discovered kryptonite....
If Neil is before Zod he can probably take Zod.
Kryptonians are no doubt stronger, but,
1. They derive their strength from the yellow sun so if they grow up in some other parts of the universe they may not even grow to strength like what happened to a few versions of Superman and Supergirl where they grew up in a government research facility in a cell without the yellow sun and were as strong as your regular library lad.
2. They're weak to kryptonite and viltrumites are a race that specialise in warfare and not just barbarism. So chances are if they existed in the same universe, the viltrumites would stock up on kryptonite, especially Thragg would since he is more tactful than battle crazy at least till no one questions his leadership.
Now General Zod is pretty technical in warfare too but till now he hasn't been able to overcome the kryptonite problem with any suit or anything.
Nor has he been able to create any artificial yellow sun to empower himself.
It is more than likely that a surprise encounter would lead to Zod winning, but if they both existed in the same universe and did not invent any unknown technology (like kryptonite blocking suits and a portable yellow sun) then Thragg or rather the viltrumites will win.
Portable stars are a thing DC from yellow rooms to red sun knuckles they exist

I mean tbh it would depend on the conditions of the fight, like durability wasn’t really argued at all here he just brought up that zod has more abilities but I will say I think Thragg has proved to be more durable, bro literally survived a mutiny of viltrumites, beat battle beast who was scaled way above literally anybody else after being severely wounded already, took being trapped on the surface of the sun for this dude to die, which I also get would be a power up for zod. Which is why I say if the fight were to ever reach the surface of the sun zod would def win, but that would also be like making them fight after keeping zod in a dark chamber, wouldn’t be a fair situation. Still think zod would most likely win tho just cuz viltrumites are basically kryptonians if they didn’t have laser eyes and cold breath, but I will say they’re definitely physically stronger and have that warrior mindset, they will literally throw everything at their enemy and thragg is the apex viltrumite whereas zod gets creamed by supes all the time. Zod can operate in any environment, superman and zodiac can't operate under red stars. Thrag is far older and a more experienced fighter, and also heals faster. Gotta go with that, by a comfortable margin.
