- What is up everybody. I'm back with another video. Sorry it took so long. I had another video I was going to put up but my computer doesn't have enough memory so i'm ordering and external hard drive today. That should help me out a lot. So be patient. So glad you guys watch my videos I thank you for consistently coming back.
Description
This video is basically about what the title says. Since I'm an introvert there is a lot of problems that goes with that, and this video is just about the problems that happen to me being an introvert. Hope you can relate. Shout out to rawsammi for her videos on this because that's how I came up with this topic.

I think the reason why introverts dont like talking to extroverts is because we introverts prefer to have deep conversations, where as extroverted people prefer to talk about stuff that don't matter ie gossip, the weather, and sports etc.
Yeah well I also just don't like to talk to groups of people I like to talk to just one person

I just like when people get the point. I'm in my mind like, "I hear you talking but I have no idea what you're talking about."
I also hate it when I'm having a good convo with one person and more people enter the convo. I will then quietly disappear from the area.

ugh! I cringe so bad when the words "get into groups" are mentioned at University.

Lol everytime this was said by a teacher my mind would instantly go "why? I could do what the entire group is doing completely myself" lol many times teachers would get mad and try to force me to do it. It didnt faze me what so ever i let them get 😠 mad and id end up by myself in the same chair doing my work happily alone only a few times did i actually get inti a group and that was only if my bestfriend was in the same class.
i wouldnt get up, fck that teacher if they cant respect the fact i wanted to do an assignment by myself then no assignment got done from my part makes no sense to fail a student for all their hard work just because they didnt want to do it with Susie son of a btch in the back of the class lol its just the way it goes with me lol
I may not speak much but when i speak i tell em straight.

Yeah I'm an introvert I just love hanging with myself I think I'm so much fun! Lol I know it may sound conceited but only a few people are as fun to hang out with as myslef. I make myself laugh, I have interesting conversations with myself, I take my self out.. And there's never an awkward or annoying moment with myself as it can be with others.. I love myself mayn lol
yeah i think it is cool to enjoy yourself, but in turn i want that to help me act that way when i'm with other people. and yes awkward moments suckkkkkkkkk.

C B Wow and I thought I was going insane because I talk to myself a lot. Not like responding to myself but just verbally vocalizing my thoughts. Sometimes I have conversations of how I wish conversations could have went during the day.Now I feel normal...somewhat lol

It's scary how much you sound like me. The quiet thing is beyond annoying. There are times where I fake being extroverted to fit in a conversation but then I make myself look more awkward cause I have to pause and think lol.
I think about really stupid things, like in school during role call. I will plan out how to say "here" and get mad when I mess it up.

extroverts can be too much sometimes e.g. extrovert walks past me in the street and is compelled to say something about me not smiling, which baffles me and annoys me.
I know right I think it's super awkward.

Me: I want to celebrate my birthday by myself
I feel like its easier sometimes for guys to be introvert than girls, they can be seen as the cool laid back guy. girls are known for talking a lot so it makes it harder.
+bellefairydust I find it quite difficult as a guy, I'm always expected to go watch sports events, and it definitely impacts my love life because I cant get myself out there, I get scared to death of entering social situations and being socially awkward and it makes it hard for me to even to talk to women without feeling a need to hide who I am. my parents always make me feel terrible as well for spending so much time alone

+Zaitek Yellow Studios (Mell The Gaurdian) I think think it goes both ways honestly because some girls think its attractive if a guy is quiet. but some guys think its annoying if a girl is, but yes girls get hit on regardless that's kind of a male privilege that we don't get cat called.
Even when the one time it happened it didnt end well they ended up asking "why dont you talk so much" any advise of saying im an introvert withoutlooking too weird
Zaitek Yellow Studios haha. yeah well the best thing I think to do is just be intentional. if you actually like someone ask them about themselves. if you are nervous about talking simply practice talking points. its ok to practice if you are not comfortable. that is what professional speakers do most of the time.

HAHAHAHA "Tell everyone JUST DON'T TALK". I love that. I have struggled with this all my life. Unfortunately, I still struggle with it. I hate meetings, hate small-talk, hate feeling obligated to talk about absolutely meaningless things. You've put a comedic twist to these things and I love it. Thanks so much.

I think we go mad because when we have to meet people we have to prepare our mind to be with someone which means having conversations and share and we have to think about what to say, so when we're not ready to do that we're just like noooo leave me aloooone xD

rhonda gore i felt like that all day every day and i hated it so much..nowadays that ive met more introverts like myself..ive learned that its okay and theres nothing wrong with it..some of the most successful people in the world are somewhat introverted so.. :)

I am very similar to you. I noticed that somebody commented "you seem like an extrovert to me". I can totally relate to this because I am introverted in real life, but I started making live-streams and funny youtube videos and you would never know that I am an introvert. People wonder why I'm not like that at school or anything (only with my best friend and family I am), and I say the same thing as you basically: "When I'm doing a live-stream on youtube, making a video, or messaging on social media, I'm not actually in a room full of people so it technically counts as a solo activity." I'm glad you understand how I feel too.

Yeah it is pretty cool when I posted this I had no idea so many would relate. Now when I try to do topics just as good they don't haha. Expect the unexpected I guess.
It's weird, cause I'm an introvert but I love hanging out with my friends. If they wanted to go to the movies with me, I wouldn't mind. What I don't like is when acquaintances sit next to me on the bus. I feel like I have to talk to them otherwise it's awkward. I actually avoid eye contact on the bus when I see someone I know just so that they don't sit next to me lol

haha I hear ya on this. I'm an introvert too, and when I'm a car with someone I'm always trying to think of a convo because I feel like they think I'm boring if I stay quiet for the whole drive, which is what I prefer rather than a long convo. I don't mind a convo but not for the entire ride, I like the quietness too lol

Not really and if you have then they weren't really your friends. Real friends should be your friend regardless of if you are introverted or extroverted. Tbh I think my i get along with my extroverted friends more because I provide that calmness when they need it. I always say be yourself and life will come. However, do stay in all the time haha, I still go do things. Like movies, mini golf, or whatever. My moto to being an introvert is "show up, leave early".

I'm glad you've made this video to help educate and inform people on this topic. For a long time I thght there was something wrong with me or thght I was unsocial, shy, distant, short tempered with people cuz they didn't understand. To understand what introverts go thrgh in a way helps deal with all the extrovert in our lives! Lol...

My mum always used to say"why don't you play with ur friends today" and I always say that there not here or that there at a party but in truth I just didint want to see people and I hated people around me, I always cycle to this private sand area 2 miles away from my house and u would just sit there thinking about stuff. I hated being in a park full of kids playing and I always found it hard to socialise. Can someone plz relate to this

That inviting other people out is soooooooo annoying! I don't feel like meeting anyone new and seeking for things to chat about. I just want to chill and have one other familiar person to talk to while I'm here.
I'm 4.0 GPA and I'm an introvert. I stay to myself,I've met some really evil,sick people. They've all been extroverted.
I'm not shy around people,it's just that I don't like to be "extra" all the time or be in the spotlight. That causes people to become jealous and hate your very being. Which leads to having enemies. I'd rather not be in those shenanigans.
The people I've encountered were loud,promiscuous with their friends,drug addicts. I mean the works it's why I've always been introverted. Every since childhood I've enjoyed and preferred to have a small friends group and loving my time alone.
People say we're(introverts) weird,but I say we're the people that listens and understands,we are the people who can't help but to help those in need. We are get people who can feel others pain and empathize.
We are the friends you won't have to worry about gossiping behind your back. Or trying to sleep with your spouse. Because we'll be at home minding our p's and q's.

I like people but I just need my me time. Especially if you're not saying anything i can comment on. Or interested in my activities after I endured yours.
Extra-"verts" as I call them are usually the criminals and users of Society. I hate to sound like a jaded little baby. But I simply try to avoid,no I run away from extroverts who try to befriend at this point.
I would rather snuggle up with my laptop and edit videos and such.

Alright, so.. I was randomly looking up vids about other introverts cause i was in one of those moods where i began to question whether my introverted lifestyle was getting 'out of hand'. It's a constant battle for someone like me who analyzes EVERYTHING, and as a result i like to hide in my little cave for the rest of the day. Thank you. That was my hope when doing this video. The world tries to tell us that you should be extroverted and that is completely wrong. I just want people to be ok with being themselves.

Birgitta Garðarsdóttir Yes I feel the same. Inside sometimes I do want to go out or atleast being invited shows that people care. When they don't it's almost a screw you eventhough you'd probably turn it down. It's hard sometimes. That's why you just have to sacrifice sometimes.

Mindfulness meditation is helping me alot it is increasing my confidence self esteem and self acceptance it is attracting people to me as well becausse ti make you one with the present moment and it gets rid of things like clingyness and caring to much about what others say. It also helps with discoverting your true identity. This attracts people to me because the path of nature is the path of least resistance

I hate it when that happens to me! I agreed with almost every single thing that you said in this video. Except when i go out to a movie or out for food i don't like going alone. I feel weird and like a loser when i do that. But man you seem like such a cool dude and very well going in front of a camera which even my level of SA can't handle very well.
+Samuel Sanchez Thank you. Yeah. I felt weird about it at first but my friend who is also an introvert said he did it and it was fine. Then I tried it and I was ok. Its actually better because when I go with people I feel like I have to talk to them. And also side note: I went to see big hero 6 by myself and it actually turned out I was the only one in the theater haha. it was awesome!!!! it was introvert paradise.

Thanks for posting Dominic! I am an introvert as well. According to Myers-Briggs test, I am an INFP. If you haven't taken the test, I suggest you should! It's a really great way to learn more about how your personality. Personally, it has helped me come to terms with my introversion and really understand how I work! Everything that you've said in this video, I've either thought about, wrote about or did. So glad to see another introvert! Mahalo!

The restaurant ordering problem!!! YESSS!! If i'm somewhere that I never go and I have to order, I get so nervous and just pick a number or just whatever the first thing I see on the menu!

+LivinofftheWall yeah well i learned from speech class even if you are an introvert practice really helps. i did this video a couple times with notes so I was able to practice being entertaining. i'm still being me but just an overly excited version.

Omg I need to watch this. I'm a freshmen in college and I'm coming to realize I am an introvert to the fullest! I haven't really made friends because I barely talk to anyone in my classes, I just stay to myself. Not to mention, I live on campus and pretty much everyone on my hall knows each other. My roomate even moved out and now I have the room completely to myself. One girl (extreme extrovert) always wants to hang out with me and go to the common area where there are guys hanging out and I never feel comfortable in situations like that so I try to avoid her. Sometimes I feel guilty and sad when I see snapchats and fb post of them hanging out and start to think I'm not getting the full college experience because I'm always to myself and haven't branched out but I've come to realize I just like being alone and able to process my thoughts.

Me and my Dad were introverts in my childhood while my sister and Mum were extraverts and it was okay, but when my Mum died who was very extrovert my sister expects me to be more extroverted than I am and it gets uncomfortable now because she expects me to speak alot when I'm more comfortable listening .

Haha I relate to every thing you said. Another thing that is hard for me and I'm guessing most introverts, is answering the phone even if it's a close friend. It's just intrusive and I need to physch myself before I answer. I've kinda just stop seeing my friends, not because I don't like them it's because they are just needy it feels like I'm in relationship with them lol. All in all though I think we introverts are smarter well rounded people and we are not afraid of our thoughts and being alone. I wouldn't want to change me I would want to change the world's view on introverts.

Exactly. I agreed with everything. I'm sure people think I hate them. I like being with friends but I can only be around with them for so long at a time. I feel bad because when I get drained I just leave abruptly and probably seem rude. (I still hate ordering at restaurants) :)

I think I was an extrovert during my younger days.I used to really like playing popcorn and I would be the one raising my hand ready to give the answer, but as I got older and went to high school it changed. I liked keeping to myself and would only really talk if my friends were around and I hated presentations and group discussions with a passion and I still do!
I used to do the same! Like if someone got called on, I would read the paragraph after theirs just so I could be ready if I got called on.
