That was great, looks like a fantastic game. My copy should be here any day now...! Looking forward to it.

At 41:58 I'm surprised you didn't move to the near corner of the room and throw your lantern killing 5 swine in one go. Aside from that, thanks so much for doing this Nate!

I should have! I like to save it if things get bad. I probably thought I could get through that problem. That would have been a best time to use it.

My son and I listened to House on the Borderlands on audiobook over the course of several months when it was my turn to drive him to school once a week (he was 13)- we also both read The Boats of The Glen Carrig by WHH- I can’t tell you how cool it is that you made a game out of this obscure gem! Lovecraft is OK but where’s the love for WHH? Right here. I’m buying this for sure. A Glen Carrig game would be beyond epic, or maybe a Clark Ashton Smith based game?

Very neat to hear! Clark Ashton Smith would be really neat to do. We knew that The House on the Borderland was public domain which allowed us to do it. I'm not sure CAS is in the public domain. In the 2030s it is possible.

Absolutely Clark Ashton Smith would be a great idea, possibly in the future land of Zothiq. But I absolutely agree with you, Hodgson created some pretty incredible landscapes and seascapes as well.

Thanks for the video! For first movement in the borderlands (53:43), could he have moved from the dust space to the diary? Im not exactly sure i understand how adjacency works in the Borderlands. Thanks a bunch! I'm planning on doing a French playthrough of this game.

Yes he could have. I wish I had pointed that out. There was at least 3 options. The -Diary was an option because it was in the direction of the card.

Sweet, looks like a killer good time, got my copy. Can't wait to give it a go. Wish I had a printer(mines dead) or acces to one so I could get Dont let the wolves eat our baby as well. Cool video

It is difficult to prints. Wolves would be harder.
When testing this I just jotted down the name of person and made the amount of squares of their life.
The book track I just made 25 squares.

Hi Nate. What does the dual arrow in the cellar mean?
I think that it is an awesome game. :)

Nanorider! Thanks for question. After getting the ? token for one of the Caverns Event, the player can move between the Caverns and Cellar from that hex. The recluse has found a passage way between the two.
