Anna has a lot of different routines which caters to a lot of different people in different videos. I've done this stretching routine and I felt it isn't one of her best. You should definitely try some of her other 10 min stretching routines.
I agree this routine might not be the best but she has so many different routines that are really amazing and have helped me so much.
But I think that routine was the best yet🌸
@@rosemot7210 I like this routine but I don't like how she immediately goes into side splits. I always need a bit more preparation stretching my hamstrings and quads before going into splits. But that's just how my body works it might be totally different for others ❤️

How
I love all of Anna's videos, but as she says so many times, progress takes time. Please try this for 2 weeks and you will see so much better results! I stretched consistently with her videos and went from about a foot off of the ground to a 1 foot over split in 4 months. If you do this video again, I very highly recommend her get your splits in 2 weeks stretching challenge for a targeted stretch, and then her daily flexibility stretch (From the beginning of 2021) as well as her before bed get flexible while you sleep stretches. The last one works a little slower, but it is so soothing and much easier to do!
With the leg hold stretch when you are on all fours, if you can’t hold your leg the adaption is to pull it as high up as possible not just leave it at horizontal to floor.
Anna mcnulty is a cheerleader not a dancer, but everyone thinks she’s a dancer and I can see why 😂😂♥️

Hey I love you guys so much it's really fun to see you guys try different challenges and this challenge that you guys did the stretching routine of Anna McNulty I've actually been doing it and it has helped me but I appreciate all your videos
I agree that some of her routines only work for people who have 0 flexibility or are super flexible. Her routines work great for me and my mom as I am super flexible and she is just starting to stretch. I also would love to see the 20 day challenge!!!!

I’ve been waiting forever for this vid sry I’m late but I haven’t rly been on yt a lot latly
About the kneeling back leg stretch at 4:13, I have seen a variation of this that I have found helpful in dealing with lower back pain. I have trouble with balance, and end up doing a modification similar to what Ciera does here. Could you please try different modifications of that stretch again and see if you figure out some tips on how to balance properly? I have seen different variations at Ballet Beautiful by Mary Helen Bowers. I know it is on Backstage Workout at 2:20 of her DVD.

can someone give me any tips bc i’m trying to learn my back walkover but i keep jumping into it like a backhand spring which causes my wrists to hurt any tips. nvm i got my back walkover perfectly and i’m moving on to back handsprings
So i would just start off doing backbend kickovers when keep on doing that with the correct form until you feel comfortable putting your leg slightly forward after that was you raise it x from a level 7 gymnast x
Can you teach me how you jump into it like a back handspring?
If this tip doesn't help I'm sorry. Maybe if you try putting one leg out and then using a wall, walk your hands down all the way to the ground. And then use the wall less and less. That might help you get use to getting to the ground so your body doesn't feel the need to jump.
@@shaynacarey1957 idk how to teach you how to jump in it lmaoo what i do is i lose balance bc i’m going into a one legged backbend so i tend to jump in it. Also to jump in it you need to kick before your hands touch the ground which causes you to jump but make sure to stretch your wrists before bc it will hurt a little. also i have gymnastics on wednesday so i’ll try the tip.

And if it's a balance thing, one thing that helped me was putting my front leg on a block, so your not really balancing on one foot until your hands are already on the ground and your ready to kick over. That helped me a lot :)
@@shaynacarey1957 i keep jumping in it and my coach says that it’s dangerous if i try it on the actual floor bc i did mine on a soft surface. She also says that i can move onto flip flops if i get my back walkover but i keep jumping into it. I’m going to have someone hold my leg in front so i won’t jump in it.
I think you should do it for 20 days and we can see how much you inprove

To be fair, Anna used to dance, as well as cheer. However, she stopped dancing, and high school cheer, in favor of all star cheer. (She's also an amateur contortionist)
