so who's gonna get cavy offshore for an over night swordfishing trip? Tarpon get very very keyed in on a certain food, be it 2" minnows red worms during that run they're weird that way. I've hooked 50+ lb tarpon jigging for pompano with 1/4 ounce tiny pompano jigs during the winter. They also love an easy meal. Just wind and jiggle, no big rod snaps, your soft plastics, keep em' a little higher in the water than you would think, and also smaller than you would think. back country big tarpon are a tough nut to crack.

And on those big snook their mouths are like sandpaper so you should try to get them in fairly quickly because they will fray through 60 pound test like it’s nothing

Nice video again, seems you are losing many fish on the jump, try to loosen the drag more, like in trout fishing, should let you keep the hooks set on the jumps.
    Cheers from Bulgaria.

Those baitfish that stung you are called “yellow tails or leather jackets” for obvious reasons, but yes they do sting and if they fin you, it injects a small amount of venom. Non lethal but enough to stink your wound 😂😅 it is painful for sure.

22:32 hey dude I'm pretty sure that's Oligoplites saurus. Often referred to as a leatherjacket (but leatherjacket is also a common name for a different species of trigger fish). Anyway, it's part of the Carangidae family, which you are very familiar with 😂

See Australia is on the other side of the world meaning that they are upside-down, when using a spinning rod and reel if you are right handed you grab the rod with your strong arm the right and wind the reel with your left

Correct, good thing is I'm left handed. So for me i fish 100% correctly, unlike many other Aussies.

Wrong use you're strong hand to reel you can always use two hands when the fish is running then you got youre strong arm to pump them in. 😂
