I played a lot of Little Wars when I was young. The physical firing of projectiles might seem unconventional, but makes the game more than a mathematical exercise. If you think about it: why is the rolling of dice to simulate the physical shooting more "realistic" than the actual shooting of a projectile? ;) The game is fun and should be tried by people who like fun things.

You know, playing Little Wars Of The Worlds with laser pointers for the Martians would be a great idea.
But then the little paper Martian cut-outs would eventually have to succumb to microscopic bacteria cut-outs! My eyesight isn't up to the task! 😄
I was hoping to a see more 28mm books with Pirates, Mexican-American War, WW1, WW2. I hope they continue the 28mm series.
