This is wrong. Primary sources are first-hand accounts of an event and are created during the time that the event took place. It has to be from a first-hand account! For example, if two people were alive during an event, say the Battle of Lexington in Revolutionary War, that doesn't make them primary sources. If one of them witnessed that battle, then that person is a primary source. The other one that didn't witness the battle is not a primary source.
