Japanese tend to be superstitious and avoid such properties hence they have to be rent or sold off as a discount. The bigger the discount the bigger indication on whether something is truly wrong for the property.
This game is really better than their recent one in my opinion. The atmosphere the tension and the loneliness you feel throughout the game is just different

For the face cam: be honest. I only glance up at it every once in a while. I feel that this can apply for most viewers as well. I don’t really see a big difference, but if it’s easier to render/ or on ur pc to do the 30fps I would just stick with that. - also love the scary games, I usually see you play them about a week b4 I see other big content creators play. 😎
